Chapter 66: Chapter 66 - Calling Emy After a Rough Night

"Y-You’re telling me that someone from her world came here to bring her back?" Lucius repeated with a deep frown on his face, unsure what to even say at this point. "And you let her get taken away?!"

Lucius couldn’t believe what was happening as Aphrodite tried her best to calm him down.

"Why didn’t you call me when it happened?"

"It was all Alicia’s decision. She told us to tell you when you returned. She said that there was no need to come after her..."

Lucius shook his head, his fists clenched. "Like hell I won’t."

Lucius remembered that he had obtained something from the system that allowed him to teleport to other worlds. It seemed that he would have no choice but to use it this time around.

However, if he did, then he would be away from the store for quite some time. If something happened to the store while he was gone, then it could get dangerous since he could lose everything that he had built.

He vividly remembered the warnings from the system, and he knew that they were definitely real, which was why Lucius was so scared of them in a way.

All of this could stop if the store got too badly damaged...

’Should I wait until I can upgrade the security before leaving?’ Lucius thought.

It seemed that it was the safest option since he knew that Axel was bound to strike back. So, if he was going away, then he needed to make sure that the store would be functioning perfectly without him around.

He had Lilith and Aphrodite, but he knew that things could always go wrong, just like what happened when he left Alicia alone the first time.

’To think that she left for her own world... why would she ever do that?’ Lucius thought with a slight frown, as he couldn’t understand Alicia’s choice. Nevertheless, he was bound to find out later. For now, it was time to make the store grow as fast as possible.

It was time to sell and sell until Lucius had over 100,000 Universal Gold Coins.

While Lucius had a new goal to reach, Axel was sitting on his couch with a frown on his face as he read the newspapers. On it, he could see Lucius’s face smiling big as he gave a small interview after spending the night with his daughter.

"Call Emy up as soon as she returns. I’ll have to talk with her," Axel said to one of his employees, who was visibly scared of him right now.

Axel couldn’t wait to see how many people would be gunning for Lucius with the bounty he had placed. From his estimates, all of this should be over today.

60 million dollars was not a small sum of money; a lot of people would be going to kill him as soon as possible.

Axel couldn’t wait to see Lucius rot in hell.

How dare he touch his daughter and even call him as he did.

That son of a bitch did it on purpose too, just to humiliate him.

The only way that Axel could get back at him would be to have some fun with one of his employees, but they were even crazier than him. They only had eyes for him, even if he offered them all the money in the world.

So, the only way he had was to kill him and get rid of his presence.

"Let’s go. We need to produce as many of them as possible."

Right now, Lucius needed to increase his output and production so that he could sell more and more products.

He was also lacking a little bit of customers since his deal with Axel had fallen through.

Lucius knew that he needed something to boost his sales, and he had the perfect idea.

He grabbed his phone and started calling Emy.

"Hello?"

Emy’s voice resounded on the other side of the call. She seemed completely exhausted and out of her mind.

The rough night they had just had certainly impacted her physically and mentally.

"It’s Lucius."

"Oh!" The tone of her voice immediately changed to one of happiness as she heard his name. "How are you~?"

Lucius smiled on the other side of the phone as he could already feel that Emy was under his charm. She would no longer be able to go to another man, especially after what they had done last night and given the skills Lucius had.

"I’m great. I’m calling because I kind of need your help with something..."

"What is it?" she asked.

She didn’t say it, but she would do anything that Lucius asked of her. After all, she didn’t want to anger him; she wanted to stay close to him even if her father did not want to.

It was the first time in her life that she had fallen in love with a man, and she wouldn’t let anyone ruin this opportunity for her.

"I need you to make a story and promote my store."

"Oh, that’s it~?" she asked, surprised. "I can do more if you want."

"Like what?"

"Well... I could tell my fans that I would be at your store for the day. They’ll all come running for sure. And... we would be able to spend the day together." She was blushing on the other side of the phone like crazy.

Lucius accepted the offer as it was much better than he could have ever expected.

One hour later, Emy arrived, and she began posting on social media about where she would be for the day, and her social media went crazy.

All of her fans immediately made their way to the store.

It seemed that today would be a day. Still... what Lucius sold was expensive; there was a chance that they would not buy anything since those types of things were not for everyone.

Still, Lucius grabbed a few signs and began writing descriptions of what each of his items did, and he had to admit that it really seemed like a scam.

But... it was the truth, and he would be giving out one of each for free for people to test out.

It was time for his store to be known to the entire world.
