I Married A Degraded Alpha
Chapter 200: This Terrifying Woman

Chapter 200: This Terrifying Woman

As Yuri’s psychic power enveloped the entire palace, Nina suddenly frowned.

"Are you feeling unwell, your highness?" someone nearby asked in concern.

Nina responded with a sheepish smile, "I might have overdone it with the drinks. I’ll excuse myself for a bit."

She then hurriedly left for the palace quarters behind the banquet hall. As soon as she stepped away, she asked the subordinate who followed her, "What is Yuri up to?"

"She’s setting up psychic sensors at the Alliance’s borders."

"Is the information reliable?"

"Reliable."

Hearing this, Nina breathed a sigh of relief. The sudden palpitation earlier made her feel as though a powerful enemy had appeared.

Although it was only for an instant, she knew her intuition was not wrong.

If it wasn’t Yuri, then who was it? Upon her return to the banquet hall, Nina’s gaze flitted among the guests, scrutinizing everyone, but she found nothing out of the ordinary.

In the restroom, Yuri carefully scrubbed her hands for five full minutes before finally stepping out.

"Why were you in there for so long?" Kinx asked with a furrowed brow. He had almost thought she was initiating her plan early.

"I was marking the location; naturally, it took some time." Yuri hadn’t expected her brief lapse in concentration would allow Princess Nina to sense her psychic power.

Kinx, unaware of what marking involved, wondered if it was anything like an alpha marking a beta.

"Put your ridiculous thoughts away," Yuri said, shooting him a sidelong glance.

Trying to suppress his laughter, Kinx asked, "Why don’t you explain how you mark things then?"

"Imagine if I place a thread of mental energy into your Sea of Consciousness. If you upset me, I just need to shatter it, and then it explodes." Yuri let out a malicious laugh.

Kinx shivered, This woman is terrifying. he nervously asked, "Are you serious? Did you really place a mental thread in my Sea of Consciousness?"

Yuri looked at him enigmatically, "What do you think?"

Kinx laughed nervously, attempting to appease her, "We’re good friends. You wouldn’t do something like that to me, right?"

Yuri laughed, "Of course, as long as we remain friends."

Inwardly, Kinx was already making plans to distance himself from this terrifying woman as soon as the royal family was overthrown, preferably keeping a whole galaxy between them.

At midnight, Kinx escorted Yuri back to the hotel.

"You’re sure about your plan?" Kinx sought confirmation.

Yuri glanced at him indifferently, "Even if it fails, you can always flee to the Alliance. Rest assured, with my guarantee, the Alliance will accept you. We don’t exchange people for starstones."

Kinx’s face turned somber, "You really have a knack for hitting people where it hurts."

"Ha, your sister is still alive. I lost everyone. Until the Empire’s royal family is destroyed, how can I let the souls of my people rest in peace?"

At that moment, an intense killing intent formed inside Yuri.

Yuri turned to Kinx, "Don’t even think about reaching into the Alliance’s affairs in the future, or you won’t like what comes next."

With that, Yuri strode into the hotel.

Kinx stared at her retreating figure, his back soaked in cold sweat. This woman is terrifying.

Once back in her room, Yuri shed her formal dress for casual black long-sleeve attire and comfortable pants. Sipping on a bottle of Nutrient Fluids, she slowly began to pack her belongings.

Soon she would leave, never to return. Everything had to be stored properly, tucked away into her dimensional button.

Half an hour later, Yuri was at the front desk, checking out, settling her bill, and reclaiming her deposit.

About ten minutes later, Yuri slipped into the royal palace of the Empire like a wraith.

Following the trail of her marked location, she arrived at Princess Nina’s quarters.

The door opened silently without alerting anyone inside.

Yuri walked up to the luxurious bed, her attention diverted not to the sleeping beauty but to the jewel around her neck.

With a simple flick of her fingers, the jewel floated up and landed in her hand.

While the jewel was indeed precious stone, a small fragment of the Blue Keystone had been fused into it by her.

With this tiny Blue Keystone, Yuri could easily track Nina’s location.

This was her first marked enemy.

Suddenly, Nina was jolted awake by a pang in her heart. She opened her eyes wide to see Yuri. Her face turned pale with shock, and she stammered, "How are you here?"

Nina subtly tried to press the alarm.

"No need to bother, my psychic power has sealed off this room. No matter how loud you shout, no one outside will hear, and the alarm won’t send out any signal," Yuri said with a cold smile.

"What are you planning to do?" Nina was genuinely panicked.

"Obviously, it’s time for payback," Yuri retorted, looking at Nina as if she were an idiot.

"I haven’t done anything!" Nina quickly defended herself. "It was the Space-sparkle pirates, not us, the Empire. And I had nothing to do with it."

"Yeah, you think I’m a fool?" Yuri scoffed.

"Yuri, do you dare to lay a hand on me? Are you not afraid the Empire and the Alliance will go to war?" Nina questioned fiercely.

"I’m not. As long as the Empire dares to come. But the question is, do you dare?" Yuri laughed even more gleefully.

Nina was speechless. The fact was they wouldn’t, and they couldn’t.

Once a war broke out between the two nations, it would be a catastrophe for all of humanity.

They had dared to harm Yuri’s child, merely on the assumption that she would consider the bigger picture, betting that the Alliance wouldn’t let her risk coming to the Empire.

But, unexpectedly, she had come.

Their predictions were drastically off the mark.

"If you dare hurt me, you, your husband Tuss, and your unborn child will live in constant fear of assassination." Nina threatened fiercely.

Yuri simply burst into laughter.

Yuri threw her head back in laughter, "You won’t get the chance. Since I’ve already set foot in the Empire, I don’t plan to leave any threats behind. Every one of you in the royal family of the Empire, will die."

"No, you can’t do that. They’re innocent." Nina was desperate.

"My people were innocent, too. Those ten thousand soldiers were much more innocent than your royal family!" Yuri gnashed her teeth, no longer wanting to waste words with Nina. Her level-nine psychic power transformed into a blade, thrusting straight into Nina’s Sea of Consciousness.

Nina groaned, a mouthful of fresh blood spilling out. It was then she fully comprehended the chasm between herself and Yuri. In Yuri presence, she couldn’t even last a second.

Nina was in so much pain that her limbs spasmed and her teeth chattered, unable to utter a word.

A second before her consciousness completely faded, she was filled with regret. The Empire should never have provoked this terrifying woman.

However, it was already too late for regrets.

After dealing with Nina and looting her palace, Yuri appeared in Herbert’s.

At the moment, Herbert was enjoying the company of several beauties. Yuri didn’t want to witness such a filthy scene and decided to wait outside. As Herbert was on the brink of reaching the peak of his pleasure, a blade as thin as a cicada’s wing slit his throat.

Blood spurted out like a fountain. Herbert’s eyes widened in shock, his life extinguished in disbelief.

The beauties screamed at the horrific scene, before fainting the next second.
