I Married A Degraded Alpha
Chapter 116: The Star of Sapphire Sea

Chapter 116: The Star of Sapphire Sea

Only a few days had passed when Yuri received two dimensional buttons delivered by Officer Lyao. One was the promised mecha she’d been waiting for, while the other contained various materials and tools used to make them.

The quantity of these items far exceeded Yuri’s expectations.

Looking at Yuri’s delighted face, Tuss thought to himself that he also had a surprise for her, but it wasn’t ready yet.

Sure could use more surprises like these, Yuri mused. She hung the two dimensional buttons onto a metal chain. In addition to these two, there were four others on the chain.

Wearing a dimensional button on a finger was not just odd but also inconvenient, so she decided to wear it around her neck.

Each dimensional button was remarkably beautiful and worth millions of astrocredits. Six buttons in a row created a unique necklace.

Arya, Nithya, and Isaya could hardly believe their eyes when they saw Yuri’s necklace.

"Just these dimensional buttons, not counting what’s inside them, are worth at least ten million, right?" Arya gasped.

"Didn’t you notice? Everything Yuri has, whether for eating or using, are the best and the most expensive. Some of these things can’t even be found on the market," Nithya murmured.

"That means what’s inside her dimensional buttons must be even pricier. Can you honestly tell us how many millions are we talking about?" Isaya pressed.

Yuri shrugged. "I’m not sure. I didn’t buy most of what’s inside. But, yes, it’s worth a few million."

With that, Yuri tucked the necklace back under her shirt.

Arya, Nithya, and Isaya all held their chests, as if they’d been hit by a shockwave.

A month passed in a blink, and the Military Academy No. 1 had a three-day break.

"Tuz, what’s your plan?" Daleks asked.

Tuss turned to Yuri, "Where do you want to go?"

Yuri shrugged, "I’m fine with anything." She wasn’t familiar with the star systems and had no suggestions.

"How about seafood?" Tuss proposed.

Yuri’s eyes lit up, "Sure. Can we go swimming?"

Tuss nodded, "Then let’s visit Sapphire Sea Star, a great planet for vacation. Eighty percent of the planet is ocean, with beautiful seascapes. It’s only a four-hour trip from Planet Alpha."

"Can we join?" Vernon and Delamak suddenly appeared behind Tuss and the others.

"And us," chimed in their classmates from the mecha combat department.

"Maybe we should go too?" The students from class two were considering it.

Tuss’s face darkened. What he thought was going to be a date had turned into a group outing. He wasn’t pleased.

Then, out of nowhere, someone asked, "Can Yuri actually swim?"

"Why wouldn’t I be able to?" Yuri was genuinely confused.

"Oh, so you are waterproof."

Everyone seemed to suddenly understand.

Someone dared to ask a question that had been in their minds for a long time, "Where is the real Yuri? You know, the real person studying with us years ago?"

Yuri’s heart skipped a beat. How am I supposed to answer that?

The next day, before dawn, Yuri and Tuss set off for the spaceport. They met up with Ender and the others to catch the earliest starship to Sapphire Sea Star.

Everyone was dressed light and comfortable that day, with most in t-shirts and shorts, faces beaming with youthful vigor.

Yuri was wearing a sleeveless shirt with a collar, tied tight around her neck. Her pants stopped at her knees, revealing slender, porcelain-white calves.

Her entire being seemed to glow with a delicate whiteness, her skin smooth and virtually poreless.

"Even though she’s a robot, she’s still incredibly attractive."

"With beauty like that, who cares what she is, I’m in."

"Hold on. Remember what happened to Hoarah? Unless you think your bones are harder than his."

"I wonder where this android was made. We should order one too."

"The Alliance’s secret weapon isn’t something we can own. But, I’ve placed an order with a robot factory. Let’s see how the product turns out. If it’s good, I can recommend it to you."

"True friend, we’ll share the good times."

"...."

Several rows behind them, heads came together in hushed whispers.

Yuri and Tuss, who had exceptionally good hearing, shared a look and chose to stay silent.

Four hours later, the starship arrived at Sapphire Sea Star.

Stepping out of the spaceport, Tuss immediately put a large-brimmed hat on Yuri, while he wore a black fisherman’s hat.

"Should I switch to flip flops?" Yuri, looking at everyone wearing them on the street, seemed eager to try.

Eager to please, Tuss took out a pair of sandals for her and helped her put them on.

"I can do it myself," Yuri said, a blush touching her face, "everyone is watching us."

"It’s okay. When they get their own robots, they’ll also help them dress, and even help with makeup."

Yuri: "......" That sounds a bit creepy.

Almost everyone had a dimensional button. Those who didn’t had stored their stuff in their friends’ buttons.

So, they didn’t need to check into a hotel first. They headed straight to the beach.

"Can you swim?" Tuss asked, thinking if she couldn’t, he could teach her, hold her waist, and whisper in her ear how to swim —

Tuss was getting carried away with his fantasies.

"Of course, I can," Yuri answered matter-of-factly, "I’ll go change into my swimsuit."

There were public changing rooms at the beach. Yuri went to change into her swimsuit, and Tuss followed, standing guard outside her door.

When Yuri came out in a one-piece swimsuit, Tuss darkened his eyes and draped a large shawl over her.

"I’m only showing my head right now, what are you covering up? Also, this suit you bought me... Is this a swimsuit? Are you sure it’s not a diving suit?" Yuri complained.

"The label says it’s a swimsuit. Check for yourself if you don’t believe me," Tuss pointed at the label seriously.

Yuri was at a loss for words, so she turned the tables, "Is yours the same style?"

"Correct," Tuss replied crisply.

Yuri grumbled, "You’re something else."

When Yuri and Tuss came out in matching swimsuits, Daleks immediately asked, "Are you guys going diving?"

Yuri could only muster a weak affirmation in response.

"Sapphire Sea Star is rich in seafood. Since you’re going diving, why not bring up some goods? We can rent a campsite tonight and have a barbecue by the sea," Ender suggested. He went to a nearby stall, bought a few large nets, stuffed them into Tuss’s hands and said, "Tonight’s barbecue depends on you guys."

"The more, the merrier," Daleks cheered them on.

"There are over thirty of you, each with appetites the size of a cow. How much food do you think will be enough?" Tuss said with a straight face, throwing the nets back at Ender.

Ender, unfazed, picked them back up. This time, he handed them to Yuri, saying, "Yuri, we’re counting on you for our dinner."

Yuri took the nets and asked, "While we’re getting food, what will you guys be doing?"

Ender pointed to the beauties on the beach, saying, "Cultivating relationships. You and Tuz are paired up, do you expect us to stay single?"

Tuss, who seemed to have some thoughts, pulled Yuri and walked away. But not before he made a threat, "If you can’t find a partner tonight, I’ll come back and beat you up."

Ender: ".... I was just kidding."

Tuss, without turning back, said, "Well, I took it seriously."

Tuss, hand-in-hand with Yuri, strode towards the sea.

"Tuz must think that we’re getting in the way of his date with Yuri," Daleks asserted confidently.

Ender raised an eyebrow, "So you knew."

Daleks: "What do we do now?"

Ender: "Of course, we go find girls."

Daleks was shocked, "You’re actually serious."

Ender looked at him mournfully, "I’m 21 now."
