Chapter 329 - 325 Fish Tail Potion

Chapter 329: Chapter 325 Fish Tail Potion

The light faded slowly, and Mu Ying looked at her own tentacles, which were exceptionally nimble as "feet"... Actually, they’re quite fun!

They were indeed octopus legs, but different from the red, suction-cup-covered tentacles she had imagined. Her own tentacles were ink-green, very similar to her hair color.

The numerous tiny suction cups on them looked like little pink flowers.

All in all, they didn’t look like tentacles, but more like thick vines that had blossomed.

Although they might not look particularly attractive, the feeling of having eight legs was quite thrilling for Mu Ying, and they were much prettier than an octopus’s tentacles anyway.

"They’re octopus legs!" Rosie couldn’t help but chuckle, everyone who had taken the Fish Tail Potion had been grossed out by octopus tentacles, and suddenly she felt a little better: "Let’s have another bottle!"

Mu Ying extended a tentacle and pushed Rosie’s hand away, "No need, this is it, I like it! Eight legs, so joyful, look, there are even little flowers!"

Rosie: "..."

"Alright then, as long as you’re happy, indeed some witches find octopus legs convenient, having eight legs and two arms, they can refine five bottles of magic medicine at the same time."

"Oh, right!" Mu Ying’s horizons were broadened. There’s such a wonderful use for the Fish Tail Potion!

Then Windsor’s tail took shape too, it was a very standard mermaid tail, with beautiful alternating deep blue and light white fish scales.

She curiously waved her tail.

"Windsor is so lucky, she got the mermaid tail on her first try," Rosie was slightly envious, "Didn’t you want to find a mermaid partner? I think this tail will add a lot to your charm, mermaids with mixed-color fish scales are quite rare."

"Really?" Windsor was even happier.

"I didn’t expect that the two of you would be finished after just two bottles of magic medicine; you’ve saved me quite a bit," Rosie spoke, now it was her turn.

She took a deep breath.

And drank the magic medicine.

After a while, she drank another bottle.

Mu Ying was stunned, "Senior Sister, you haven’t finished transforming yet, why did you drink already?"

Rosie, feeling helpless, spread her hands, "I’ve drunk it many times before, I’ve basically unlocked the whole Fish Tail Atlas. The light hasn’t faded yet, but by moving my legs and feeling them, I can roughly guess what fish tail I’ve randomized to, I don’t need to wait for it to appear."

Even with a lottery, as long as she entered enough times, she could get the results she wanted.

"Hey, I want to see what other kinds of tails there are, it feels pretty fun," Mu Ying said with a mischievous grin as she used several of her tentacles to roll the remaining Fish Tail Potions to one side.

Rosie: "..."

This junior sister might be a lost cause.

Next, Mu Ying witnessed light green lobster tails, light green shark tails, light green octopus tails and so on, which greatly shocked her.

"Does the Fish Tail Potion retain some of the user’s own characteristics?" Mu Ying asked curiously.

After all, her own was ink-green, Senior Sister Rosie’s were all in the green spectrum, while Windsor’s was in the blue spectrum.

"Yes, whatever your octopus tail looks like this time, if you randomize to this one again next time, it will be the same," Senior Sister Rosie explained.

After another round of randomizing and getting all sorts of strange tails, she sighed.

Only after downing an entire set of magic potions did she finally randomize to the mermaid tail she wanted.

"Alright, let’s go!" Senior Sister Rosie took the lead and jumped into the water, swimming to the outside of the house.

"Do you think Rosie wanted to make sure Bertrand was out before drinking the potion, worried that her strange tails would offend her lover?" Windsor pondered, stroking her chin.

"Of course, normal mermaids judge beauty by their tails, don’t they?" Mu Ying said.

Windsor glanced at Mu Ying’s tentacles, which seemed to have minds of their own, twisting and turning, "I now believe that you, Mu Ying, have no interest in mermaid hunks at all."

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be fond of octopus legs and enjoy playing with them so much.

Mu Ying: "..."

She realized that Windsor was implying something about her small tentacles!

Once in the water, you can’t deny, the octopus tail was silky smooth to swim with.

It was Mu Ying’s first time being an octopus, and she quickly mastered it, even swimming a bit faster than Windsor.

"Come on, let’s hold hands and swim!" Mu Ying extended a tentacle over.

"This is a foot, right?" After ribbing her, Windsor chuckled too, thinking it was quite fun to hold a foot with her hand.

Windsor let Mu Ying’s tentacle wrap around her hand and gave it a squeeze, then another squeeze: "The octopus legs are really soft to the touch!"

"Well, mollusks, you know," Mu Ying was not surprised.

"Stop dawdling, you two, we need to get moving!" Rosie urged them as she pulled Bertrand along.

Their journey was indeed no jest.

Although Fish Tail Island was near the Mist Sea Domain, the Royal Capital of the Mermaid Kingdom was in the very center of the Mist Sea Domain. The swim there was quite a distance.

The tunnels beneath the island were adorned with glowing sea grass, providing a faint light.

This sea grass was one of the main ingredients for refining the Breathing Potion: Gill Pouch Grass.

It wasn’t a Magic Plant, just a common one, said to be quite prevalent on the seabed.

After swimming through the tunnel, Mu Ying realized that the ocean in this world was vastly different from reality.

Although the deep sea in reality also contained many brightly colored creatures, there weren’t many that could glow, so the seabed was still dim. Otherwise, Mu Ying wouldn’t have nearly become depressed searching for minerals in such an environment.

But the seabed of this world, it was too beautiful!

Most of the sea plants and creatures had fluorescent patterns on them, yet they weren’t drastically different in kind from those in the real world.

It was as if the seabed of reality had been illuminated, allowing those plants to display their true colors in the dark deep sea, creating an incredibly dreamy sight.

Traveling on such a seabed was like visiting an aquarium, mesmerizing and unforgettable.

"Mu Ying, I think I’ve fallen in love with the seabed!" Windsor said. "It’s even more beautiful than Moon Port, I really like it!"

"Well, that’s perfect, because I’ve also bought a bubble ball from Debra. It’ll come in handy when I buy a shop in Crystal City. When I leave, I’ll pass the shop on to you. How does it feel to be kept by a rich sister?"

Mu Ying teased her.

The house in Moon Port was still rented by Windsor!

"Oh yes, so much so, I love you too much!" Windsor giggled.

"Then can you be my human pillow again? The kind that doesn’t use hair to tickle me." Mu Ying was not one to suffer a loss; she wanted to recoup some interest from elsewhere, and Windsor was just too good to hug!

With Dingling Flower, she could practically squander without care in the Emerald World. Never mind keeping Windsor, she could even afford to keep her senior sister, peers, and junior sisters.

Windsor really wanted to scratch her, but she didn’t dare.

Because right now, Mu Ying had two hands and eight legs.

No match for her, not at all!

And, in front of her was a gold master promising to buy her a house!

She had struggled for half a year in Moon Port and still didn’t own a house, only able to rent a tiny shop.
