IMUC Chapter 668 The Battle on the New York Battlefield

Iron Man, Spiderman, and Scarlet Witch instinctively positioned themselves to protect Doctor Strange, facing the three aliens who had surrounded them.

"I'm not as helpless as you think," Doctor Strange said in a deep voice, though he knew Iron Man and the others weren't protecting him— they were protecting the Time Stone he carried.

Even if they lost, it wouldn't be a complete disaster, as long as Kyle was around. But if the Time Stone were taken, the situation would be far worse than just a defeat!

"Don't underestimate them. They're incredibly powerful. Don't worry about us, just secure the Stone and retreat into the Mirror Dimension." Iron Man's new Mark armor, now equipped with Pym Particles, concealed his head inside the armor, leaving only his metallic eyes visible. 

The eyes glowed with white light as he focused on the white-haired elder among the aliens.

"We meet again, Iron Man." Ebony Maw shrugged and greeted Iron Man, then raised his hands to introduce his companions, "The large one, Cull Obsidian, you've encountered before. The woman beside him is Supergiant."

"Earth is not welcoming visitors right now. You'd best leave now." Iron Man responded coldly but remained vigilant, particularly towards the female alien he hadn't seen before.

Since their previous encounter in the Galaxy, they were all familiar with each other.

He knew Ebony Maw's power was to manipulate physical objects. Cull Obsidian, despite lacking special powers, possessed incredible strength, comparable to the Hulk.

The alien woman accompanying them must possess similar strength.

"We can leave, of course, as long as you surrender the pendant that Sorcerer is wearing." Ebony Maw smiled slightly and raised his withered hand, pointing at Doctor Strange behind Iron Man.

Before Iron Man could respond, Doctor Strange spoke first: "That’s not happening! You have invaded Earth, and as a protector of Earth, I will deliver the punishment you deserve!"

As he spoke, Doctor Strange moved his hands through the air, forming a golden sorcerer's shield that appeared in front of him.

"We'll handle them. You take the Stone and escape." Iron Man glanced back at Doctor Strange with slight frustration.

"That won't do." Doctor Strange shook his head, his eyes full of determination. "I'm staying to fight. I will protect New York. I will protect Earth!"

"Looks like negotiations have failed." Ebony Maw shrugged with a little frustration, but he didn't seem angry. He simply waved his hand forward.

Iron Man instinctively raised his left arm, forming an armor shield, but it wasn't Ebony Maw who took action— it was Spiderman!

Yes, Spiderman, who had been cautiously observing Supergiant, suddenly turned around, his eyes glowing with a mad, blood-red light, like an out-of-control spider. He lunged towards Doctor Strange with his limbs spread wide.

Doctor Strange reacted just in time and instinctively used his magic shield to block Spiderman's attack.

Spiderman clung to the magic shield with his hands, sparks flying, and was immediately repelled. However, as he fell to the ground, his red eyes flickered with two red streaks, and he continued to launch a vicious attack on Doctor Strange.

"Peter! What's wrong with you?" Iron Man never expected that one of their own would strike first.

He wanted to stop Spiderman, but Cull Obsidian was already charging towards them. His heavy steps shook the entire building, and his massive form pressed down like a dark cloud. He swung his massive axe through the air, aiming it at them.

Iron Man had no choice but to raise his shield to block Cull Obsidian's powerful strike.

The shield cracked under the axe's force, and the shockwave sent Iron Man crashing down onto the floor, breaking through the tiles and falling into the lower levels of the building.

"Pathetic..." Cull Obsidian's words were interrupted as several laser beams shot from below, destroying the rooftop. His massive body was sent crashing downward, likely tearing through several floors as he descended quickly toward the building's bottom.

"Protect yourselves until I get back!" Iron Man's voice echoed from below, growing fainter as he fell further.

Ebony Maw ignored everything around him. He lightly raised his left hand, and with a flick of his wrist, a billboard from the building was torn off and hurled at Doctor Strange, who was entangled with Spiderman.

In a split second, Scarlet Witch finally took action. She rushed to Doctor Strange's side, releasing red energy from her hands and shattering the billboard into pieces.

"Oh? Not bad." Ebony Maw watched with surprise as Scarlet Witch's display of power exceeded his expectations for Earth's high-level combatants.

"What's wrong with him? Does anyone know?" Doctor Strange asked as he used his magic shield to protect himself while the magic cloak restrained Spiderman, whose hands and feet were out of control.

"It's mind control. That woman has incredibly strong mental control!" Scarlet Witch's hands shifted, and red energy enveloped Spiderman, calming him down.

Her cold, beautiful eyes locked with Supergiant's, whose eyes glowed white but remained motionless.

"Hey? Hey?" Spiderman's red-eyed glow faded as he looked confused at the magic shield blocking him and the cloak that restrained his limbs. He let out a startled cry, "What's going on?"

"That question should be mine." Supergiant continued to stare at Scarlet Witch, who didn't back down. The two locked eyes from a distance of ten meters. Neither moved, but their minds had already clashed hundreds of times.

"Supergiant finally met her match."

Ebony Maw furrowed his brow. He raised his hand and pushed forward, causing the broken wall fragments to float upward, turning into dozens of stone spikes that shot at Scarlet Witch with incredible speed.

"Your opponent is me!" Doctor Strange stepped forward to protect the Scarlet Witch. With a wave of his right hand, he drew a circle in the air, opening a portal that sent the stone spikes away.

"You're not worthy."

Ebony Maw floated upward, pressing his hands down. Items from the sky, broken walls, and debris flew toward Doctor Strange from all directions.

Doctor Strange's portals and magic shields were not designed to handle such an all-encompassing attack. While hastily blocking, a brick from the front struck his head, and his body was thrown backward, falling off the rooftop.

"Doctor!" Spiderman cried out in alarm. He quickly leaped into the air, shooting webs to catch the dazed Doctor Strange and pull him back.

"Take him away, I'll hold off those two!"

Seeing Ebony Maw preparing to chase, Scarlet Witch shouted at Spiderman, raising her pale hands. The red energy surrounding her surged as she faced off against Supergiant while intercepting Ebony Maw's approach.

She was about to take on two of Thanos’s generals by herself!
