IMUC Chapter 667 Battle For Infinity Stones Begins

United States, New York City Center.

A massive donut-shaped Spaceship descended from the sky, its lower edge drawing closer to the bustling streets. It was spinning rapidly, creating a powerful wind that whipped cars, billboards, and even parts of buildings across the streets, causing utter chaos.

Countless pieces of debris flew into the air, creating a scene of apocalyptic destruction. Pedestrians in the streets panicked and fled in all directions.

It was like a forced evacuation.

The Spaceship fired a blue beam in front of it, clearing a path through the chaos. In its wake, a frail white-haired old man, an alien creature wielding a giant axe, and a blue-skinned woman in a cloak emerged.

The three exuded an aura of pure evil and immense power. The fleeing pedestrians were treated as mere insignificant beings in the eyes of these aliens.

"Who is in charge here? Can someone come forward and speak?" The white-haired old man said softly, yet his voice carried far, echoing through the streets.

The alien monster bared its teeth and growled, "Why bother with formalities? Simply destroy the city, and whatever we seek will come to us."

"Cull Obsidian, you remain as barbaric as ever," The blue-skinned woman said, covering her mouth with her delicate right hand and laughing. Her slender figure swayed as she laughed, "We are civilized beings, we can attempt to negotiate, and diplomacy is always preferable."

Above a nearby high-rise next to the attacked street.

A golden-red figure shot through the sky, slowing down as it neared. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be two figures: Iron Man, clad in a new model of his Iron Man suit, and the young Spiderman, who was holding onto Iron Man's right hand.

The two of them, one large and one small, resembled a father-son team preparing for action.

Iron Man released Spiderman's hand, and the young hero landed first on the edge of the rooftop railing. His spider mask automatically retracted, revealing Peter's youthful face.

With a loud thud, Iron Man landed beside him on the rooftop, shutting down the engines in his suit's limbs.

The two of them stood atop the building, surveying the enormous Spaceship, which was at least five times the size of the nearby Ferris wheel, and the three aliens who had just landed in front of it.

"It's him! I can't believe they're here too!" The moment Iron Man recognized the three aliens, his helmet vanished like a tide, revealing Tony's serious, weary face.

"Mr. Stark? You recognize those aliens?" Spiderman asked, half-lying on the ground, looking back at him curiously.

"Indeed," Iron Man replied, his eyes fixed on the oldest and seemingly most harmless-looking alien of the three. "The last time we encountered them was when I journeyed to the Galaxy with Godfather."

He paused before adding, "Be very careful. The oldest alien among them is incredibly powerful— he can manipulate any object with his mind. We were defeated by him last time, and it was then that Lorna was taken..."

Before Iron Man could finish his sentence, a slender figure dressed in scarlet landed behind them, leaving a trail of crimson mist.

It was Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, who had arrived from Carl's Kingdom. She had clearly sensed something, as she clenched her fists tightly and turned to Iron Man, asking, "What were you saying? Lorna was taken by them?"

"Yes," Iron Man nodded, realizing there was no reason to conceal the truth now that they were here.

"Those damn bastards," Wanda muttered coldly, her eyes burning with anger as she gestured with her hands. Crimson energy materialized in the air in the form of mist.

"Don't act recklessly!" Iron Man stopped her, his voice firm. "I seek vengeance too, but each one of them is extraordinarily powerful. It's best to await the Godfather's arrival!"

"He cannot come here anymore," Wanda stated with certainty. Seeing the surprised expressions of Iron Man and Spiderman, she explained, "A few days ago, Kyle took Vision to Wakanda. They haven't returned yet, and the alien forces there are far more overwhelming than those in New York. Raina has already led some of Carl's forces there to provide reinforcements."

"What… Wakanda is also under attack?"

Iron Man furrowed his brow. From what Wanda was saying, the crisis they were facing was likely catastrophic.

But no matter how catastrophic, as long as the Godfather is around…

Before he could contemplate further, a Mars-like circle appeared on the rooftop where the three were standing.

Doctor Strange, draped in his dark red magical cloak, stepped out from within. He had been concealed within the mirror dimension, but now, seeing Iron Man and the others, he finally revealed himself as if finding the team.

Doctor Strange's appearance immediately drew the attention of Iron Man and the others. He spoke first, "Do not rely on Mr. Kyle anymore. He's not on Earth right now."

"What did you say?" The three of them, including Spiderman, froze in shock.

Doctor Strange explained, "Three days ago, Thor and his brother Loki came to Earth to find the Odin. To prevent any further chaos from the Asgardians, I sent them to Norway. Subsequently, Odin died, and a woman with immense power emerged from another realm. After some conflict, she even shattered Thor's weapon, and in the end, they all departed Earth via the Bifrost."

"Does that mean...?" Wanda guessed what might follow, and the grim implications hit her.

"Yes," Doctor Strange sighed bitterly. "Mr. Kyle followed them and left Earth."

Iron Man's face suddenly turned ashen. Even a genius like him had come to a terrifying realization.

He muttered, "It's over. Godfather made a slight miscalculation."

"Mr. Stark, what are you talking about?" Everyone, including Spiderman, felt a sense of foreboding after hearing this.

Iron Man took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. “Godfather always informed me that Thanos' plan is to collect the six Infinity Stones and erase half of all lifeforms in the universe." He continued, "That's why Godfather has been striving to stay one step ahead. The Infinity Stones in our possession have always outnumbered those of Thanos. If Thanos were to face the Godfather in battle, we'd have a higher chance of victory. That's why Thanos has been keeping still."

"But now, Kyle is not on Earth." Wanda realized, her eyes filled with fear.

Kyle had been on Earth for all these years, and just three days after his departure, Thanos' forces invaded — it couldn't be a coincidence!

"There's a traitor on Earth." Iron Man gritted his teeth, speaking quickly. "But that doesn't matter now. What's crucial is that Thanos' move is clearly to seize the Infinity Stones that the Godfather doesn't possess, to surpass him in the number of stones, and take control of this war!"

After all, the Infinity Stones that Kyle possessed were only two: the Space Stone and the Power Stone — this was the inside information Iron Man knew.

As for the other stones…

The Soul Stone was likely already in Thanos' possession.

The Reality Stone was with Loki.

The Mind Stone was in Wakanda.

The Time Stone was with Doctor Strange…

Iron Man, Vision, and Spiderman all looked toward Doctor Strange, particularly his Artifact necklace.

Iron Man said with difficulty, "Run, the aliens invading New York are after you!"

Doctor Strange's eyes widened in suspicion, but before anyone could react, three more figures suddenly appeared on the rooftop, surrounding them.

It was the aliens they had seen earlier, led by Ebony Maw, along with two other high-ranking members of Thanos' forces!

"It's too late." Ebony Maw's aged face wrinkled as his small eyes locked onto Doctor Strange.
