IMUC Chapter 669 The Wakanda Battlefield

In Africa, Wakanda.

This advanced nation, nestled amidst ancient mountains and lush forests, renowned for its rare Vibranium mineral resources, and leading Earth's technological civilization by a century, today faced a fierce assault from alien forces!

It began without warning.

A massive interstellar spaceship, resembling an alien meteor, was initially heading directly toward the city of Wakanda. However, it crashed into Wakanda's energy shield instead.

The spaceship didn't break through the energy barrier but exploded in a burst of metallic fragments and explosive fire, while the alien lifeforms within emitted agonizing wails before dying.

The immense shockwave couldn't penetrate the energy shield. It spread like ripples across the land, causing the entire Wakandan nation to tremble slightly. Despite this, Wakanda's energy shield remained unbroken!

This was a testament to Wakanda's technological prowess, honed over centuries! This spectacular scene demonstrated that Wakanda, if not surpassing, at least equaled the technological level of alien civilizations.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

More massive alien spaceships in the shape of giant stone slabs followed. This time, they had learned their lesson and didn't attempt to crash into the energy shield. Instead, they landed on the outer edges of the nation's defenses, crushing mountains and forests in their wake, kicking up a violent gust of dust and debris.

Before the dust could settle, three or four massive spaceships opened their rear compartments. Alien beasts and wild animals surged out, resembling a swarming tide of ants and mice. They relentlessly threw themselves at the energy shield, only to pile up into a heap of mangled, charred corpses.

"This is insane."

Outside the Wakanda palace and on the plains, the current king of Wakanda, Black Panther T'Challa, stood at the forefront. His dark face was grim as he surveyed the alien monsters attempting to breach the energy shield.

Standing on either side of T'Challa were Captain America and Winter Soldier, both wielding their Vibranium shield and mechanical arm.

Behind them stood the royal guards, led by Captain, all holding Vibranium spears. The Wakandan military, dressed in savage attire but equipped with advanced weaponry, stood ready as well.

"This place is paradise." Winter Soldier, holding a real firearm, commented as he looked at the energy shield that had held off the initial wave of attacks.

"There are too many of them. The energy shield won't hold for much longer." T'Challa replied gravely.

As he had predicted, under the relentless assault of thousands, perhaps even millions, of alien lifeforms, the energy shield's edge was beginning to show signs of overload, with occasional breaches where alien creatures managed to slip through.

Steve spoke grimly, "Kyle warned me about this. They should be forces of Thanos, here for the Mind Stone. If the stone is taken, the consequences will be unimaginable!"

"Then we'll leave them here. Don't let a single one of them into the palace!" T'Challa activated the Black Panther bone chain around his neck, and his body was immediately enveloped in the Vibranium suit.

He signaled everyone to prepare for the assault and, using communication equipment, instructed his sister Shuri, who was inside the palace, to open a small gap in the energy shield.

As the energy shield's portal opened, countless alien lifeforms charged through the breach, flooding into Wakanda's borders.

"Charge! Wakanda, victory is ours!"

Black Panther shouted, extending his Vibranium claws and leading the charge. Captain America and Winter Soldier followed closely behind as they led the Wakandan army to face the invading alien lifeforms.

A large-scale war had officially begun!

At this moment, in the underground control room of the Wakanda palace, Shuri sat anxiously in front of a virtual screen, watching the brutal battle unfolding on the Wakanda border plains. Though she had confidence in her country's military strength, the sheer number of alien lifeforms invading was overwhelming!

In the center of the control room, on a workstation, Vision lay lifeless. Having lost the Mind Stone, a fingerprint-shaped dent remained on his forehead, and all life signs were gone.

As for the Mind Stone, it was resting in a device box on the console in front of Shuri, faintly glowing with a fluctuating yellow light.

Shuri held her breath, watching the intense battle on the virtual screen. She didn't notice two dark figures silently infiltrating the underground control room.

One of them, a slender figure, crept up behind Shuri, raising a black, strange spear, its tip aimed at the back of Shuri's head.

"Brother..." Shuri had been focused on the virtual screen, watching as their forces, overwhelmed by the alien lifeforms' relentless assault, were starting to falter. She swallowed dryly, about to reach for a metal water cup on the desk when, out of the corner of her eye, she saw the shadow and spear approaching from behind.

"Who?" Shuri gasped, quickly grabbing the Mind Stone device and diving to the floor. As she completed the maneuver, the black spear narrowly missed her, piercing through her chair and making a hole in the console!

That was close!

Shuri rolled a few times on the smooth floor, clutching the gem device, her gaze locked on the black spear. The spear seemed to have a deadly effect on electronic devices, as the console crackled and flickered with electrical sparks, immediately going into a state of disrepair.

At this moment, the energy shield protecting Wakanda outside may very well have fallen apart.

"You noticed that, little sister?" A hand pulled the spear from the console, and the figure responsible for the ambush was revealed to be Black Swam, an alien woman clad in a black bodysuit.

"Come on, hand it over to me. I might spare you." Black Swam licked her lips, holding the spear, and began walking towards Shuri.

Shuri glanced down at the device in her hand. She knew it was the item everyone outside was desperately trying to protect. She shook her head vigorously and quickly got to her feet, heading for the basement door in a rush.

"What a pity." Black Swam sighed, her eyes flashing with cruel intent, but she made no move to pursue, allowing Shuri to escape.

Just as Shuri was about to reach the basement door, another tall shadow appeared, blocking the entrance and completely cutting off her escape.

It was a cloaked figure holding a scythe, wearing a suit similar to Black Swam's— completely black, radiating an aura of death and evil.

It was the Death Reaper, also known as the Death General.

With this, all of Thanos' generals had appeared on Earth.
