Just as he was contemplating how to get in, Wanda Wesley came running from behind a large tree.

She was carrying a very long log in her hand, apparently kept aside to be used as a crossbeam when constructing a house.

She was lifting it effortlessly as if it were a bamboo, holding one end in her hand and then, with a flick, she positioned the other end atop the wall.

Nathaniel Nolan was taken aback, "You’re not suggesting I crawl along this, are you?"

With a stoic expression, Wanda responded, "There isn’t time, hurry up."

For the first time in his 25 years, Nathaniel felt the sting of ineptitude.

And he felt it profoundly.

At the moment, he felt like a helpless little bird awaiting rescue, and Wanda was the towering figure of 86 meters, effortlessly holding him in the palm of her hand, controlling his every move.

He could feel the crossbeam slowly moving, followed by a sense of weightlessness. Next thing he knew, he was back on the ground.

Meanwhile in the Capitol, in the nation of Grearon, Mia Nolan was trying to hack into her brother’s social network account.

She intimately understood her brothers’ techniques as he had personally taught her half of her hacking skills.

Raine Nolan, sitting nearby, tapped her foot impatiently, "Can you hurry up?"

With her eyes fixed on the computer, Mia replied, "I’m on it, don’t rush me."

Raine couldn’t help but feel anxious.

Her mother had told her today that those sent to tail Chloe Collins had all come back empty-handed, managing only to capture images of them heading toward the airport.

"No way, my brother doesn’t have a girlfriend."

Raine, fixated on Wanda’s face, commented, "She seems to have lost a lot of weight, her body too."

Mia zoomed in for a better view, "Oh, you’re right. I didn’t even notice until you pointed it out. I remember Wanda being quite chubby before, how did she get so thin now?"

Raine responded nonchalantly, "People in love tend to lose weight."

"Nonsense! I don’t buy it!" Mia grumbled, slamming her mouse in indignation.

She hadn’t anticipated this scenario. She assumed that her brother’s object of affection was Chloe Collins and not Wanda.

She despised Wanda.

Raine remarked, "If Wanda is there, then Chloe Collins must be there too."

Satisfied with the answer, she swiftly texted her mother, Rosalind Taylor.

[Mom, I’ve confirmed it. Chloe Collins is with Nathaniel in a clandestine investigation team, probably working on a case. They are now in Goldasia.]

After sending the message, she felt unease creeping in her mind.

Chloe Collins was wasting her days, roaming around and even getting entangled with investigations.
