Athena was satisfied with Sasha’s angry expression. She could tell that she was already fuming with rage, boiling like a volcano that was going to erupt.

Sasha even glared at Dominique. She was upset because he gave his shares to Athena. And for what reason?!

Meanwhile, Alfonso Williams started confronting Vladimir. He must not lose his Chairman position.

"Mr. V, what is the meaning of this? This woman is talking nonsense. This company belongs to my family. She can’t strip me of my position. This is not part of our agreement." Alfonso complained to Vladimir.

But Vladimir just narrowed his eyes on him, feeling disgusted. "Excuse me, Mr. Williams. As far as I can remember, I never talked to you. When did I tell you that I would give you my share? Do I look like a fool to you?"

Alfonso was taken aback for a moment. Then he glanced at Luna. "She’s your secretary! She’s the one who made an agreement with me."

Vladimir smirked at him. "She has nothing to do with my properties. Are you forgetting something? I’m in charge here. She is just a mere secretary. Why would you believe her words if you haven’t heard anything from me? That’s ridiculous." He continued mocking Alfonso Williams.

At that certain moment, Alfonso realized that he had been tricked by Vladimir and his secretary.

"No! This couldn’t be! I’m not leaving the company. I’m the Chairman of this company!" Alfonso declared stubbornly.

Vladimir’s expression turned ashen. He could no longer stand Alfonso Williams so he ordered Luna to call the guards.

"Kick him out of the company now. Starting today, he is no longer the Chairman," Vladimir said in his authoritative voice.

"No! No! You can’t do this to me!" Alfonso yelled in his panicking mode.

Soon, the guards entered the conference hall, dragging Alfonso Williams out of the room.

Dominique just watched the unfolding scene silently. He had been staring at Athena but she was avoiding his gaze.

’So this is the start of her revenge. She finally reclaimed her company back.’ Dominique could only smile at that thought. But there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

He was fully aware that Athena would also start collecting debts. And he was one of her targets.

"Why are you still here? Meeting adjourned. We will just announce the new management team in a while." Vladimir dismissed the other people present in the room.

The board members and the other shareholders just exchanged glances with one another before they quietly left the conference hall.

Dominique and Sasha remained in their respective spots. Athena smiled at them tauntingly.

"Mrs. Smith, congratulations on your pregnancy. You can now rest at home. You are fired!" Athena said, giving her a mocking look.

Sasha’s face turned red from too much anger. She clenched her fists tightly.

"You don’t have to tell me that. I won’t work under you. My husband has his own company. W Diamond Group is not a big loss," She spat back.

"Babe, let’s leave!" Sasha grabbed Dominique’s hand as she pulled him.

But Dominique remained still, unmoving. He continued staring at Athena. He had missed her a lot. He wanted to hug her but he couldn’t.

And now, his heart was aching, seeing her standing next to Vladimir.

"I hope you are happy now," Dominique softly said with a faint smile on his lips.

Athena frowned. This was not the kind of reaction she was expecting to see from Dominique. She wanted him to get mad for her deception.

However, Dominique remained calm as if he didn’t care about losing this company.

’Why? He worked so hard to deceive me and my father just to get this company. Why doesn’t he look like he is affected?’ Athena clenched her fists, watching Dominique with complicated emotions.

This time Vladimir stepped forward, shielding Athena from Dominique’s gaze.

"Mr. Smith, you are generous enough to give Athena your shares. We will consider it as your wedding gift to us." Vladimir declared, shocking Dominique.

’Wedding gift?’ His calm expression faltered upon hearing Vladimir’s last remarks.

"What do you mean by that? Athena is your cousin." Dominique asked him.

But Vladimir smirked broadly as he wrapped his arm around Athena’s waist.

"You are wrong. I’m Vladimir Ivankov and she is Athena Ivankov. We are married to each other." Vladimir was deliberately taunting Dominique, making him jealous.

Athena, on the other hand, just cooperated with Vladimir, even though this was not part of their plan.

’This is better this way. This is my way of dumping him.’ Athena thought to herself.

Dominique glanced at Athena but she wasn’t looking at him. His heart had been torn into a million pieces.

’So this is her relationship with Vladimir...’ Dominique’s heart constricted inside his chest. His words were stuck in his throat.

"So she is your wife! You have to learn how to control her! Who knows she might be cheating on you already!" Sasha butted in.

Vladimir narrowed his eyes when Sasha made such ridiculing remarks toward Athena.

"I don’t care if she got involved with other men. The bottom line is... I’m still her husband. And she will always choose me... in the end. I will only consider those men as her pastime... her playthings."

"At the end of the day, she will still choose me... and go home with me," Vladimir said, eyeing Dominique meaningfully.

Vladimir’s words were like daggers hitting Dominique’s heart. It could be true.

’Yes. Athena just approached me for revenge. And she finally got what she wanted.’

Dominique looked down, accepting his defeat. He felt like every ounce of his energy had been drained. He was utterly devastated.

"Let’s go," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

With a broken heart, Dominique turned around to leave, not looking back. He could only blame himself for this. He was the first one who betrayed his wife, Sabrina. He hurt her. He made her resent him.

’It’s too late. She doesn’t want to do anything with me anymore. The only reason she came back is for her revenge. She will never forgive me.’ Dominique had realized how he lost his wife. It was his fault. He was foolish and now he was left broken.

If only he could turn back time, he would choose to be with her... and forget about his revenge. He loved her... for real.
