Vladimir roamed his eyes around the conference hall. Then his gaze stopped on Dominique. He smirked at him provokingly before he spoke to the group.

"I’m Vladimir Ivankov. I’m here to take over this company," he declared, eyeing Alfonso meaningfully.

Alfonso Williams chuckled. He thought Vladimir was just joking. The two of them agreed that after Dominique’s removal, Vladimir would transfer his shares to Alfonso.

"Now, let’s vote!" Vladimir could no longer wait to dismiss Dominique.

Slam!

Sasha slammed the table as she stood up. "You can’t do this to my husband. Even if you are the largest shareholder of this company, my husband still owns thirty-five percent of the total share of this company."

Vladimir just arched his eyebrow. "And who is she? Why is she here? Does she even have a share?" He asked Alfonso, deliberately humiliating Sasha.

Everyone who had hurt Athena was a target of Vladimir’s hate.

Meanwhile, Alfonso smirked, looking at Sasha mockingly. "No. She is just a Marketing Director of this company. She doesn’t own a share."

"Oh. So she doesn’t have a say in here," Vladimir hissed.

Sasha felt embarrassed by Vladimir’s sarcastic words.

"Should I kick her out?" Alfonso consulted Vladimir, making it look like he was the one in charge.

But Vladimir just lazily waved his hand. "Never mind. Just let her stay. Let’s be respectful to a pregnant woman."

Sasha flinched when she met Vladimir’s sharp gaze. She was intimidated by his overbearing presence.

Meanwhile, Dominique remained calm in his chair, just observing Vladimir and Alfonso. He was trying to figure out if the two had formed an alliance.

But thinking about Athena, he was in doubt. She would never join forces with Alfonso Williams.

"Since everyone is here. Let’s proceed with our voting. Those who are in favor of the removal of Mr. Smith from the company’s management decision-making body, kindly encode your vote in the tablet in front of you. Your vote will automatically be sent to our system and it will be calculated right away. You will see the result on our screen." Alfonso instructed them.

"The weight of your vote depends on the percentage of your shares," he added.

Sasha clenched her fists tightly. They were clearly ganging up on Dominique.

"Dom, do something! Are you just going to sit there? You work hard to acquire this company!" Sasha begged him desperately. She couldn’t understand why Dominique was so quiet.

"Just let them be. I don’t need this company anymore," Dominique simply replied.

Sasha couldn’t believe it. "Why? Are you hearing yourself, Dominique?"

Dominique just rubbed the space in between his eyebrows. He was tired of this. He didn’t care anymore. All he could think of was Athena.

It did not take long for the voting to be done. The majority of the shareholders voted on Dominique’s dismissal.

"Everyone has spoken," Alfonso spoke up, rejoicing. "This means Dominique Smith no longer has a say in this company."

Dominique just stood up. "I’m fine with that. Are we all done here? I don’t want to waste my time."

But Vladimir said something to make him stay. "Mr. Smith, don’t leave just yet. I still have some announcements to make."

Alfonso couldn’t hide his joy. He could already feel his victory.

’Here comes the big announcement. He will transfer all his shares to my name.’ His eyes sparkled in excitement. He was so greedy.

"Luna, give me the document," Vladimir called his secretary’s attention.

Luna immediately handed the document over to Vladimir.

"I’m going to transfer all my shares to someone," Vladimir announced, surprising everyone.

They whispered and looked at Vladimir in confusion and puzzlement.

’To whom is he going to transfer his shares?’

Soon, Vladimir gave Luna a cue.

Understanding her Boss’ signal, Luna strode toward the door, opening it for someone.

Everyone gasped when Athena made a grand entrance to the conference room. They didn’t expect them to see her.

"What is she doing here?"

"That’s the singer who is involved in the scandal with Mr. Smith."

Everyone darted their gaze back and forth between Athena and Sasha.

Sasha couldn’t hide her displeasure upon seeing Athena. ’The Bitch is here!’ She clenched her fists while looking daggers at Athena.

On the other hand, Vladimir approached Athena, extending his right hand in front of her. She immediately held his hand.

With their intertwining hands, Athena and Vladimir stood in front of everyone.

"I’m transferring all my shares to Athena," Vladimir announced, catching Alfonso off guard.

"What?!" Alfonso exclaimed exasperatedly, staring at Vladimir with disbelief.

’This is not what he agreed on! What the hell is going on here?’ He thought to himself, gritting his teeth.

Athena let out a soft giggle. She darted her gaze back and forth between Dominique and Alfonso.

Dominique had a complicated look on his face as he stared at Athena. But he wasn’t surprised by her arrival. After all, she was Sabrina. And this company belonged to her late father, Albert Williams.

"Hi, everyone. It’s nice to see you all here. By today, the management of this company will definitely change. I will take over this company and remove Alfonso Williams as the chairman of this company," Athena declared with a sly grin on her face.

Alfonso froze on his chair, his eyes widening in shock. "Are you kidding me?"

Athena arched her eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. "Why would I joke about this matter? I’m dead serious, Mr. Williams."

"No one can question my decision, because currently, I have 60 percent of the total shares of this company. Forty-five percent is given to me by Vladimir... and the fifteen percent is given to me by Dominique Smith."

Her last remarks shocked everyone, most especially Sasha.

"What?! Dominique gave you his shares?!" Sasha had the urge to slap both Dominique and Athena right now. How could this happen?

"Yes. He gave it to me... FREELY," Athena replied, provoking Sasha further.

The people inside the conference room started to speculate.

"OMG! The rumor might be true. This woman is Dominique Smith’s Mistress! How bold is she to show up here and take over the company!"

Sasha had the urge to rip the smile off Athena’s face. She was so shameless to be there!
