"Athena... Athena who?"

Vladimir’s focus shifted as soon as he heard Ashton’s last words. At the mere mention of Athena’s name, his heart skipped a beat.

As long as it was related to Athena, Vladimir would always put his hundred percent attention.

’Is this man referring to Athena that I know?’ Vladimir’s face contorted at that thought.

Meanwhile, Dominique was glaring at Ashton, giving his best friend a warning look.

"Don’t you know how to knock?" he sternly asked.

Ashton darted his gaze back and forth between Dominique and the other person he didn’t know.

"I’m sorry. Did I disrupt something? Who is he?" Ashton stepped forward, joining Dominique on the other side of the sofa.

He cast a curious glance at Vladimir, checking him out from head to toe.

"He goes by the name Mr. V. A potential investor," Dominique introduced Vladimir to Ashton. Then he turned to Vladimir.

"This is my friend and my business partner, Ashton Davis."

Vladimir just nodded. His mind was still troubled by Ashton’s words.

’This guy said he was dating a woman named Athena. Is this just a coincidence? Or is he referring to her?’ He pondered to himself.

"Do you refer to Athena? The masked singer?" Vladimir raised his question once more.

Ashton nodded in response. "Yes. My goddess Athena."

Vladimir’s face turned ashen when he heard that. But not only him, Dominique looked daggers at Ashton as well.

Ashton chuckled giddily as he spoke again, unable to read the dark atmosphere in the room.

"I feel so happy! My Goddess agreed to hang out with me this weekend. It’s her advance birthday gift for me!" Ashton shared his happiness with the two men.

He spoke spontaneously, flexing his moment with Athena last night.

"We went to the park last night and strolled together. She was so fun to talk to. I can’t wait to see her face! She promised me that she would remove her mask in front of me on my birthday."

Two men wanted to skin Ashton alive. Dominique clenched his fists while Vladimir gritted his teeth. They were both thinking about shutting Ashton’s blabbering mouth.

Dominique had the urge to throw him out of his office.

On the other hand, Vladimir stood up, excusing himself.

"I don’t think I can continue this conversation with you, CEO Smith. Let’s discuss this some other time. I have to go."

Dominique just bobbed his head in agreement.

"Sure. Let’s reschedule this."

Without further ado, Vladimir stepped out of the office with a chilly aura emanating from him.

’Is this part of Athena’s revenge? Dating a guy close to her ex-husband?’

Rage and jealousy surged up in Vladimir’s heart.

’I can’t allow Athena to do this. If she wants revenge, I’ll give it to her. I have to do it my way!’

Vladimir made up his mind. He quickly contacted his most trusted subordinate– Luna.

"Hello, Boss?" Luna’s voice was heard from the other line.

"Luna, I have an important task for you," Vladimir spoke up in his authoritative voice.

Luna fell silent since she could sense that her Boss was in a foul mood.

"Okay, Boss. What do you want me to do?" Luna was so attentive to Vladimir.

"You have to get rid of a nuisance for me," Vladimir commanded meaningfully.

He gave her instructions, giving her the details she needed.

"Got it, Boss."

When the phone call ended, Vladimir left the Starlight Group Building, heading to Athena’s place. There was something he needed to clarify with Athena.

Back at the office, Ashton faced Dominique who looked displeased.

"Mr. Davis, please mind your manners. You are here as the President of your company, not as my friend." Dominique reprimanded him.

"Hey, what’s wrong with you? Why are you so grumpy today? Can you cool down a little?" Ashton patted Dominique’s shoulder.

"Ouch!" Ashton winced when Dominique grabbed his wrist, twisting it.

Dominique gave him another warning look.

"Go and fix the construction issues! If you have time to date, then you should fix those concerns first! If you fail, I will transfer the project to a different construction company."

Ashton: "..."

’Why is he so harsh to me today? Where is my best friend?’

[ At Goddess Elixir Cafe... ]

Meanwhile, Athena and Lanny dropped by the cafe to visit Enzo.

Enzo requested Lanny and Athena because he wanted to know what kind of father Albert Williams was.

Based on Dominique’s story, Albert Williams was a murderer... an evil person. He wondered if his own father was capable of doing those ruthless things.

"Enzo!" Athena called Enzo who was serving a customer. She waved her hand.

Enzo turned in their direction. He smiled instantly as soon as he saw Athena and Lanny.

The two ladies approached him. Enzo’s colleague took over his task as he guided them to the corner table.

"Athena, Lanny... Thank you for coming over."

He paused for a moment, his eyes shifted to Lanny. He was reminded of last night’s incident. He assessed Lanny intently.

’Did something happen between her and her fiancée?’ Enzo’s heart constricted once again at that thought.

Lanny frowned when she noticed that Enzo had been checking her out. ’Why is he looking at me like that?’

"So what do you want to know about your father?" Athena asked him expectantly.

Enzo fell silent for a moment, staring at Athena with hesitation.

"Because of my amnesia, I don’t have any recollection of my moment with my father. I wonder if you know him personally? If not, can you give me Sabrina’s contact details? I know she knows our father so well."

Lanny and Athena exchanged glances with one another. They knew that only Athena could give him the answer he was seeking.

"Of course. I can give you her email. You can contact her through this." Lanny wrote Sabrina’s email.

Enzo’s eyes lit up when he saw Sabrina’s contact email. He couldn’t wait to talk to Sabrina.

"Enzo," Athena butted in. There was a faint smile on her face. "Do you miss him? Your father? That’s why you are asking us about him?"

Enzo felt conflicted. He had a deeper reason why he wanted to know more about his father.

"The truth is... something is bothering me. Athena, Lanny... do you think my father is capable of hurting someone... like... killing someone?"

Athena and Lanny were surprised when they heard that.
