"Do you have a secret affair with Sasha Smith?" Athena’s direct question caught him off guard.

Timothy: "..."

He didn’t expect that Athena would pry into his personal life. Why did she look so interested in his relationship with Sasha? How did she find out about it?

Timothy smiled awkwardly, assessing Athena’s expression. "Miss Athena, why are you asking me this question? This is a very sensitive topic. Are you accusing me of having an affair with a married woman?"

Timothy chose to feign innocence.

Athena could tell that Timothy was trying to avoid her question. "I told you... I wanted you to be honest with me."

Timothy let out another chuckle, taking a sip of his cold water.

"Miss Athena... as I said... this is a very sensitive topic. Are you testing me? I believe you did a background check on me. I have numerous relationships with other women. But why are you interested in my relationship with Sasha?" Timothy didn’t plan on giving her an easy answer. He wanted to understand first as to why Athena was asking him this particular question.

Athena just smiled at him, keeping her cool. "Let’s have a deal. Tell me your secret, then I will show you my face. I will remove my mask in front of you."

Timothy’s face brightened up when he heard that. He didn’t know when he would get this kind of opportunity again. He would grab this chance.

"Oh. That’s fair. I would love that." Timothy agreed instantly.

"In exchange, you have to disclose all your secrets to me related to Sasha Smith." Athena offered a deal with Timothy.

Timothy nodded in agreement. "Sure. I will tell you the truth."

He let out a soft chuckle. "Since I’m a gentleman, I will fulfill our deal first. You can remove your mask later, after hearing my words."

Athena also giggled, eyeing him with intrigue. She wondered if Timothy would truly confess.

"Honestly, I have nothing to lose here. I don’t care if you will use this information to your benefit. But it’s true. I had an affair with Sasha. We slept together. I think three times. Aside from those, I also kissed her in secret... when we were just alone."

Athena didn’t know how she would feel after hearing this. She just confirmed that Sasha was cheating on Dominique.

"When was the last time you slept with her? Or get intimate with her?" She asked him with a serious expression on her face.

’You are so stupid, Dominique. You chose this woman over me. Your standard is too low. This is your karma for betraying me. Your new wife is cheating on you with your friend.’

"Hmmm. A few nights ago. We met in the V-Club. Something happened to her. She mistook me for someone and she willingly offered me her body to express her gratitude for saving her."

Athena’s eyebrows twitched at the mention of that place.

"V Club? You’ve been there?" Athena asked him in disbelief. That club was owned by Vladimir.

Timothy bobbed his head. "Yes. We are both regulars of that club."

’Hmm, so Sasha has been partying in the V Club.’ This was another significant piece of information she’d gathered today.

"Maybe she was just drunk and she mistook you for her husband. Don’t tell me you took advantage of her while she’s drunk?" Athena eyed him suspiciously but Timothy defended himself right away.

"Of course not! I didn’t have plans on sleeping with her at that time. She was the one who pounced on me and flirted with me, thinking I was the owner of the Club. He called me Mr. V."

Athena’s eyes widened when she heard that.

’What? Sasha met V? How?’ Athena felt a sudden surge of jealousy when she thought of Sasha flirting with Vladimir. With all the women out there, why did he get involved with Sasha?

’He can like anyone.... But not Sasha. She doesn’t deserve V.’ Athena thought to herself, her expression turning grim. She pouted her lips.

"Miss Athena? Are you okay? Are you mad?" Timothy noticed the shift in her facial expression. He wondered if he said something that offended her.

"Oh, it’s nothing. I’m just wondering why Sasha did it. She and her husband, Dominique are a famous couple here in York City. I thought they loved each other so much. I didn’t expect that she would cheat on him."

Timothy emitted another soft chuckle when he heard Athena’s remarks.

"There is one reason I could think of. Dominique couldn’t satisfy his wife in bed. That’s why she seeks comfort from other men, like me. Their good image as a happy and loving couple is just a facade. They are lying to the public. I can attest to that because Sasha slept with me, not only once but thrice."

"I think there is something wrong with their current relationship," he added.

Athena blinked several times in amusement. She couldn’t believe it.

’Dominique can’t satisfy Sasha in bed? How could that be possible? As far as I know... he is like a monster when it comes to having sex. I don’t want to admit it but he is the one who took my innocence. And I know his sex appetite and his endurance in bed.’

Athena’s eyes scanned Timothy from head to toe. ’There is no way Timothy is better than Dominique. I refuse to believe that. Maybe Sasha is just searching for something new?’

But Athena just raised her eyebrow. ’This guy is shameless. I will never get involved with someone like him. I have to create some distance.’

"I’m not thinking about you," she clarified his wrong assumption.

"Is there anything you want to know?" Timothy asked her again. He was willing to answer her questions.

This time Athena looked straight into his eyes. "You know that Sasha is Dominique’s wife. He is your friend, right? Why did you betray him?"

Timothy chuckled once more. "You got it wrong, Miss Athena. Dominique is not my friend. I always saw him as a competitor. I felt so proud when his woman sought me for comfort. I thought Dominique was a perfect guy. But when Sasha slept with me, I realized that Dominique also had shortcomings. I became interested in Sasha because of Dominique. But now, I’ve realized that Sasha is just a cheap woman. She is the same as the other women I dated before. Noting special..." When he emphasized his last words, Timothy glanced at Athena meaningfully. His gaze seemed to tell her that he had found someone special... and that person was none other than her.

"I did my part... on our deal. I think it’s time for you to unveil your real face. Remove your mask, my Lady..." he said to her with a flirty smile on his face.

’He surely lives up to his reputation– a flirtatious man.’ Athena thought to herself.

With a charming smile on her face, her hand reached out to remove her mask. Timothy’s eyes never left her face. He held his breath, anticipating the removal of Athena’s mask. He couldn’t hide his excitement to see her real face.

Soon, Athena finally unmasked, revealing her face to Timothy. He almost forgot to breathe when he saw her. He was totally smitten by her beauty.

He froze in his spot, just admiring her. He was mesmerized by her. Who would have thought that the face hiding behind the laced mask was totally a big deal?

’Her voice alone can mesmerize men... how much more if they see her real face.’ Timothy thought to himself, almost drooling over Athena’s allure. He lost the ability to speak for a moment. He just stared at her face as if he was engraving her facial features in his mind.

"Timothy... Are you satisfied with what you are seeing right now?" Athena asked him teasingly. She even giggled as she watched his funny reaction.

"Cough! Cough!" Timothy cleared his throat, trying his best to calm his racing heart. He had to admit that Athena had totally captured his heart today.

"I apologize. Your charm, Miss Athena, truly captivates me. Initially, I idolized you for your angelic voice, but now, I believe... you’ve captured my heart with your ethereal beauty. You are the most stunning woman I’ve ever encountered in my life," he admitted, showering her with praise.
