Her Vengeful Lycan Alpha -
Chapter 267: Crazy!
Chapter 267: Crazy!
Chapter Two Hundred-Sixty-Seven – Crazy!
A lot of things had really happened while he laid in bed, and Sigma felt displeased that he couldn’t partake in any.
He’d have avenged himself and Prince Sorren whose district got attacked, the Alpha didn’t have to handle cases like impulsive witches.
Sigma looked up at the stranger that waltzed into his quarters, and sat down without permission. "Your name—"
"Zeldris!"
He didn’t hesitate. Sigma sighed. The young man’s name was strange to him but it seemed he served the Green Valleys’ Princess so he was no danger.
Also, he might not know more details about the witches since it’d be a hidden secret to avoid unrest.
"Can I ask what you came here for?" Sigma asked.
Zeldris held his head, the dreaded question had finally been asked.
He assumed the boy would be lonely and wouldn’t kind him staying but indeed he was simple-minded.
Anyone would question a sudden visitor, and he couldn’t say that he came to check on him or it’d mean he could now leave. "Well, um... as I said you haven’t been out—"
The door to Sigma’s chambers slammed open and Zeldris heard the sound of metal grazing the floor. Someone had come in, the atmosphere changed.
Sigma turned towards the door. "Dylan—"
Zeldris jumped back when a sword was thrown to his face, he caught it and pointed it at the young lycan. "Are you now crazy! What do you mean by this?!"
But his heartbeat were very quick, yet he hid his fear.
"I should ask you." Dylan’s eyes darkened on him. "What the hell are you doing in here, Zeldris, right?"
Zeldris didn’t get it. The lycan knew who he was and even met him with the Princess before so why was he being guarded now?
Could it because of Bebe’s attack on Sorren? These lycans weren’t planning to discriminate wolves due to that.
Zeldris threw his sword back at him, and flung his hair back. "Such a rude brat! I don’t have anything to say to you! That’s how much you respect the Princess, isn’t it?"
Since he didn’t have a good enough reason to visit the Delta, Zeldris planned to guilt trip his way through, one of the usual Princess Laurel style.
Dylan snapped from his anger but met Zeldris’s retreating figure. He turned to the knight but was too ashamed to speak. He looked at his sword by his foot.
If the knight tells the Alpha about this then he’d been given more days away from Sigma. He rubbed his head. "What’s wrong with me, really! I should change!"
Sigma sipped from the cup. "Indeed, you should."
Dylan frowned at him, then picked his sword up. "You’ve been having a smart mouth lately, Sigma. What was he even doing here anyway?"
Sigma glanced at him, then back at the cup. He had no idea either, but he’d probably have if Dylan didn’t bulldoze his way with bloodlust flying everywhere.
Even the Delta couldn’t place why Dylan overprotected him, even if he was stronger between the two of them.
Or was it his usual hot temper? But it had only shown when it concerned him. "Don’t worry, Dylan. I may not look it but I feel almost better already."
Dylan hummed, folding clothes with the concentration of a mother. "Alpha had told me some Green Valleys’ wolf got possessed and might attack anyone, even officials."
Sigma nodded. So that’s why he assumed that the Zeldris was the one? "You didn’t tell me of the witch first."
Dylan’s jaw fell when he realized he had rattled out. He’d been holding it in that it begun to overflow on his own. He paused, frowning "Who told you about the witch then?"
Sigma pointed outside, and Dylan sighed on understanding it’d be the guest that just left.
"I think he came to know how I was doing, by the Princess order or something. He seemed nice." Sigma defended.
Dylan nodded absentmindedly. If the guest was sent by the Princess then the way of sending the guest out would offend the Princess, he had to apologize later.
Zeldris was a name that the Lead Warrior complained about most of the time so Dylan didn’t hold him in high regards, but it seemed the complaints were false.
"Don’t worry, I’d apologize to him too. Hopefully, before he tells the Alpha what I did." Dylan held his head again.
He had a duty to Sigma, but it always got to his head.
Meanwhile, Zeldris breathed in and out as he strolled back to the Princess. Thankfully the lycan warrior’s haughtiness gave him a reason to leave.
Didn’t that mean that he couldn’t make friends with him anyway? Good riddance, he’d use only Sigma to get close to Sorren.
Sigma might even know a bit of Sorren’s past that he could twist to make Sorren understand his heritage.
He didn’t know what he wanted Sorren to do when he realized his heritage, but it’s for him to decide.
"Zel!" a small voice called and Zeldris paused.
He turned to his back and found a pretty slim lady with long black hair and warm amber eyes. He gulped down nothing and looked around him.
When did he get lucky to pull such a pretty woman!
"I’m not dreaming, am I?" he took a step back.
As he did, he noticed the lady behind him, his eyes widened on realizing. Didn’t she just use teleportation?
He looked around him again to be sure no one saw that.
"What’s a witch doing here? And how do you know me?" he stared at her amber eyes and got lost in it for a second.
Her snicker brought him out of it. "Ella told me about you, and you’re just as... handsome as she said." She held his arm. "I’m Alice, a warrior witch with Young Master Darren."
Warrior witch in this pack swarming with lycans? Zeldris gulped down saliva. Those class could fight really well without relying on magic.
He stuttered. "N-Nice to meet... you, A-Alice."
