Chapter 245: Girls’ Paradise
Chapter 245: Girls’ Paradise
Chapter Two Hundred-Forty-Five – Girls’ Paradise
(Green Valleys Pack)
Laurel quietly enjoyed her milk tea as the Black Claws Warriors ran about outside the gate. She was seated outside, while watching Mira and Marino play.
Black Claws’ was finally going to raid Rolling Stones.
Laurel felt a bit bad for them that they were about to be raided by Lycans, but their condition wasn’t as bad as hers had been.
At least, they had the option to not fight, and live, and their pack will be handed over to her... who’d take good care of it.
A Black Claws Warrior had been sent as a spy by Stefan to infiltrate Rolling Stones Pack. The warrior had return saying that there’d been no news of their Alpha.
The pack was run by an Elder till further notice.
It made sense to Laurel because if the Grand Witch got awakened, she wouldn’t care about being Alpha anymore.
It must’ve been what she was trying to say the last time they spoke, when she said the Alpha coronation was still far away.
Now, the pack she left behind would be the one to suffer. Both the innocent Warriors that’d only try to defend their pack, and the innocent casualties that only wanted to live.
Laurel sprang up from her seat, realizing something. "Bebe can go with them to tell the people to stand down! There’s no need for anyone to die!" her fists clenched.
Zeldris, who’d been watching the twins run about, turned to the Princess when he noticed her stand. "What is it?"
"Get Bebe for me. Make sure she’s formally dressed. I don’t think I need Rolling Stones Pack if it’s given to me broken and depressed." The Princess replied.
The Knight immediately left were he rested. "I’d do so immediately." He rushed out.
When he had heard that those lycans would be invading the werewolf pack, he had felt bad as he remembered the lycans that attacked his family and friends back then.
It was never a pleasant feeling, no matter who was wrong. If there’s a way to avoid it, that’d be best.
He reached Lisa’s quarters and knocked before entering, yet he heard a panicked scream when he opened the door.
He paused when he saw a lady wearing only a brasserie and skirts. She ran in before he registered her face.
He cleared his throat. "I am sorry but I am here under Princess Laurel’s—" a pan flew to his face, shutting him up. He crouched down, rubbing his face.
Jessika who had thrown the pain, gasped. "Ah, so you were sent by the Princess? I’d have turned you to mince meat if you came here due to your perverted ways."
What perverted ways? Zeldris sighed, rubbing his nose.
"I’d still turn you to mince meat!"
Zeldris froze, looking up at the girl towering over his crouched. "L-Lia... why?"
"Because a gentleman should knock AND wait for a reply before walking into a girl’s paradise!!" She pointed at the surroundings.
Zeldris nodded. Indeed, the Lead Hunter’s quarters was filled with only females so they could afford being scantily dressed. "I’m terribly sorry. I am here to see Bebe."
Jessika walked towards him, while spacing out. "I can’t reach her mind link, she’s probably asleep. Go left, last room, knock and wait for reply."
Zeldris tsked. All these rules. "The Princess asked—"
"And that’s the only reason she’s letting you wake Bebe up in the first place!" Lia snapped her fingers in his face.
Zeldris gulped own nothing. These girls always acted like they could beat him up, and he didn’t want to find out. "You can wake her up yourself though."
Jessika picked the pan close to his legs and Zeldris flinched, thinking she wanted to strike him again.
"I am cooking dinner. Do you want to starve? Also, Bebe forced herself to sleep cos of... you know. So she’d be in a bad mood if woken up."
And he’d bear the brunt of that, wouldn’t he? Zeldris watched the two girls leave before he moved towards Bebe’s room.
He knocked on the door of the last room. No response. He banged harder. He needed a response or Jessika might draw his blood to add to dinner.
A force pushed his body inside, from his back and he fell on the bed. "What the— you were sleeping on the roof?"
Bebe slammed the door close, her expression was sour. "And you woke me up, so what do you want?" she walked towards a curtain that served as a changing room.
Zeldris looked around the room. It’s been a while he’d been inside a girl’s room. The Princess wasn’t very girly and her room was nothing spectacular.
But Bebe’s room had multicolored clothes, ribbons and other shiny things pasted on the walls and window.
A bad hand drawn image of a dress was posted on the wall by the door. Probably her dream dress she’d like to sew. Zeldris smiled.
"The Princess wants to talk to you. She said to wear something formal. They say you’re in a bad mood?"
He heard her scoff from the back of the curtain. "I’m fine. The Princess doesn’t have to worry. She’d be worrying about my pack soon so I shouldn’t add to her—"
"It’s not really like that. You should go talk to her."
He heard a cloth fall, then it clicked. The girl was changing at the back of the curtain. He gulped down nothing and rested on the bed.
"You could have waited till I was out before changing."
"What will happen with you in?"
Zeldris looked up, with a smirk. "Nothing, really. I don’t get why I’m termed perverted. I’m as innocent as can be."
Bebe sighed. "I can easily take you in a fight, so I see no reason to be scared." She left the curtain, fully dressed. "If I had been strong enough to be the Alpha, none of this would’ve happened."
So that’s what she worried about? He left the bed, standing before her who had a lowered head. He patted her head. "Being Alpha isn’t just being Alpha."
Bebe chuckled briefly. That made no sense but also made sense. And she knew that part already, except that it doesn’t change the fact that she was weak now.
