Chapter 214: Kidnapped

Chapter Two Hundred-Fourteen – Kidnapped

Laurel’s eyes remained on ahead as she hurried to the location. That Alpha had some guts. She tightened her hand on the notice.

"That Alpha had some guts to threaten Bebe!"

Bebe had been living quietly here. And yesterday, Laurel paid her a visit to take the charm. Her rogue scent was gone after all those while.

It finally faded off as she had been part of a pack. Bebe had been so overjoyed.

Yet, this morning, the Alpha of Rolling Stones sent a notice to the Princess.

This was about something Bebe had told Laurel few days ago. The Alpha coronation.

When the Beta had killed her mother, she had become the Alpha by default, but such weren’t official so had no coronation.

Usually, if there was no heir, the temporary Alpha could become the real Alpha.

That was why many had been after Bebe’s life, and why she wanted to be strong enough to compete for the title.

The time to select a new Alpha was still almost a year to go, but the Alpha had struck, kidnapping Bebe while hoping to strike a deal.

It’d be easier to kill Bebe but Laurel guessed the Alpha wanted more, so wanted to kill two birds with a stone.

Laurel hoped to deal with the Black Claws Warriors that let a random group, the ones who overpowered Bebe, into the pack, and took her away.

The ones who hurt some of the girls at Lisa’s quarters who tried to defend Bebe. Laurel hoped to avenge against that group as well.

"But I don’t really need to do anything," she looked back. "if you’re going to follow me, hmm, Escanor?"

The Delta left where he hid. "You noticed?"

Laurel sighed, continuing her march to the location.

Escanor hurried to her, studying her expression. The bloodlust had left her face. He was glad. Such expression didn’t fit her. "I’m here so you don’t need to fight."

He’d deduced that something made her feel threatened, or agitated. She probably didn’t take a warrior because the opponent might be stronger.

If she felt she could handle it, then he could handle it for her. It’d be his first duty to her. He wanted to protect her.

"Her name is... Bebe?" he asked, after Laurel explained what was going on.

The Princess slightly frowned. Was that the only thing he’d ask after everything? She ignored it. "You don’t need to engage the Alpha, but the ones who caught Bebe."

Laurel hoped to speak with the Alpha, and wait for her to strike first. Rolling Stones were allies with Black Claws, not directly to Green Valleys, so she’d thread lightly.

She stopped, looking up at the miscreants waiting for her at the intersection. They were normal warriors.

The only way they could have beaten down Bebe, who was Lead Warrior ranked, was using the element of surprise and their numbers.

"We came to walk you to the Alpha. Don’t struggle and follow us." One of them stretched a hand forward.

Laurel lifted her head, looking at them like trash. "Where you four the ones who infiltrated my pack?"

The female amongst them smirked. "Those warriors were dense to let strangers in. You’re doing a bad job, Princess."

Laurel didn’t bother explain that they weren’t her warriors. They had answered. They were the culprits.

"You don’t belong to Rolling Stones." she noticed their faint rogue smell. How did those warriors let rogues in?

At that point, she noticed they were all female. Only one was without a mask. She scoffed. "Don’t kill them."

That was her decision, only because, Bebe’s pack seemed to have female warriors more than male warriors, and that’s something not very common.

Also, if they were rogues with a faint scent, then they were probably trying to stay in a pack and change.

She didn’t want them losing their lives before achieving it.

She liked the joy she saw on Bebe’s face.

As her thoughts ran, she noticed Escanor sped past her, towards the four miscreants. Two disappeared as he went past them.

Laurel brushed her hair, that had reacted to his sudden movement. The other two realized and ran after Escanor to save the two.

"Hmm, go and receive your part." Laurel huffed.

She continued ahead, looking for Bebe’s scent. She’d probably be where the Alpha was. If not, then she’d take Bebe and go back. They can do this next time.

Meanwhile, where Bebe was locked in.

A small metallic box that gave little entrance for air. Bebe slapped it continuously, screaming erratically. The absence of breathable air wasn’t her problem.

The small box, it brought flashes of the torture and experimentation she experienced at High Moon, in the hands on the deranged King.

The small room, the oppressive captor.

Everything was the same, nothing changed.

She didn’t get stronger, no matter how much she trained. She couldn’t defeat the Alpha yet and worse, the Princess had been involved in it.

Tears streamed down her eyes as she pounded on the box, wanting to be free. She knew she was there, her captor. She could hear her.

"Please!! Let me out!!"

She heard nothing, no reaction, till the box was tipped over, and Bebe heard her working on the keys.

She breathed in sharply as her nose caught fresh air. She left the box, falling to the ground and stretching.

Her eyes went to the figure towering her. Her long black hair covered her chests that were almost bare if not for two metallic plates that covered her chest.

There were metallic pants on her waist, having a small cloth attached. She was like an exhibitionist.

Her metallic boots were close to her face, so Bebe rolled away, then left the ground, balling her fists.

Her eyes glared at the Alpha hatefully, but the Alpha had a straight expression, almost bored.

"Your Princess is close. That’s why I released you."

Bebe seethed. She didn’t release her due to her pleas? She was truly heartless. "What do you want with me?"

The Alpha tilted her head, her expression unchanging. "If I said I wanted your life, would you give it to me?"
