Her Vengeful Lycan Alpha -

Chapter 195: Teenager
Chapter Hundred-Ninety-Five – Teenager
The two tips given to Zeldris from the Princess.
Make it all about the Alpha.
The Alpha was malleable. Bend him.
Yet, Zeldris could tell the second would be hard to do as the Alpha didn’t seem to like him after one meeting.
He lowered his gaze. "I believe we should return to tell the Princess about this—"
"What role do you play in Green Valleys?" The Alpha’s voice boomed. Baxter could tell he was angered.
He glanced at the annoying creature that riled him up and the creature had a proud smirk.
"I am Zeldris, a member of the Princess Elite Forces—"
"That wouldn’t exist." Stefan picked a note and tossed it to the ground. It was the notice he got concerning the Princess Elite Forces.
"If she needed Elite Forces it shouldn’t be teenage boys with a smart mouth." Stefan deadpanned. "Beta Cade can arrange for her later."
Zeldris kept his calm.
A sub tip he received, and already know, was that the best way to bend anyone, was soothing their pride or fueling their anger.
The first was easier than the second, but Zeldris didn’t think the Alpha’s pride should be soothed in this case.
Also, he barely knew the Alpha. The lycan Alpha could turn out to be introspective and point him out.
"If the Princess Elite Forces doesn’t exist, then you have no reason to speak before the Alpha." Baxter turned to Zeldris with folded arms.
The creature should get out already!
His eyes shifted to Valkyrie and she had her usual icy stare, not on him, but on the Alpha.
"Alpha, if the Princess Elite Forces doesn’t exist, then they’d be attempts on her life. This man saved her from the last one hence why it was formed."
The lead warrior stated, twisting the truth a little. But her voice didn’t falter and Zeldris nodded in agreement.
However, it caused Stefan to feel more uneasy about the young man. His mate gave him a name, and he saved her from death.
That’d be a close bond, and he didn’t like it.
"Are you telling the Alpha to eat back his words?" Baxter asked her, in a calm voice.
"I’m pleading that he reconsiders!" Valkyrie raised her voice. "The elite force, training our warriors, all these are so our Princess and pack will be stronger. Is it a wrong thing to ask for?"
As she directed that at Baxter, he looked away, feeling his heart beat quickly. Those weren’t wrong things to ask for.
Zeldris patted Valkyrie to calm down. He was accepting the defeat. "The Alpha can’t take back his words. Let’s wait for an official notice and accept whatever it says."
Valkyrie breathed heavily then lowered her head. "In that case, excuse me, Alpha." She stomped out.
Stefan buried his head in his hand. Again, this has turned to another political issue. He noticed Zeldris still in the room and frowned. "Get out."
Zeldris nodded. "We will await your official notice—"
"It won’t change if that’s what you mean!" Stefan slowly left his seat. "A rashly created Elite Forces? It’s a joke. And I don’t make decisions for the General."
Zeldris’ shoulder fell. It was a total fail then. He smiled, rubbing his head. At least, he gathered experiences. And the Princess wouldn’t kill him for failing.
"Good, good, good, I’d leave then."
When the nuisance was gone, Baxter bowed immediately. "I’m sorry for bringing this nuisance to you. I thought the Princess was the one coming to talk to you—"
"It would’ve still ended the same way." Stefan fell back on his seat. His mate would still use politics and guilt tripping.
But it was easier to reject these two than his own mate.
An elite force? Who gave her such a idea? He slapped the books on his table closed, feeling irritated. "You can leave too, Baxter. Call Cade as you leave."
The Lead Warrior still stayed back. "Alpha, permit me to say though. If the Princess really escaped death, then having an elite force wouldn’t be bad."
Stefan glanced at him and then back to his closed books. "And you think a teenager can protect her from murder? She probably just met him for the first time."
"He is probably strong enough." Baxter remembered that Valkyrie seemed to respect him. "And if he’s the Princess’ choice... I mean, you don’t need to agree but..."
"If she needs an elite force, Cade will give her one." Stefan finalized. "She doesn’t need teenagers."
Few seconds passed and Stefan sighed, seeing the Lead Warrior was still in the room. He didn’t remember that lycan being persistent. "What else?"
After saying the Alpha shouldn’t eat his words, was he trying to convince him to do the opposite?
"Alpha, how old do you think the Princess is?" Baxter kept his eyes on him. "Do you know she’s a teenager?"
One of Stefan’s eyes twitched and he looked away from Baxter immediately. His mate was a teenager? That was sort of scary to know.
The Moon Goddess mated him to a teenager?
Then he remembered, that ball he raided was her eighteenth birthday. Something fell inside of him.
She was a teenager, and he did all that to her?
"Sigma told me that she once told him that she’s only eighteen. Being Princess and having death threats. Both are too much for an eighteen year old." Baxter added.
Even as his little cousin was only sixteen, Baxter tried to help do any of his assigned tasks for him and slowly, he felt Sigma was opening up to him.
Due to circumstances, the younger generation had to step up and become officials, but they shouldn’t forget that they’re still the younger generation.
"I don’t think the Princess will feel safe with any adult you bring as an elite force. But the decision is yours, Alpha."
Stefan kept his eyes to the ground. For a long time, the youngest person he knew was his little brother Sorren.
It was only recently he began realizing Sorren wasn’t very young anymore and forced him to help in the pack.
He also realized that Jade was the age with Sorren but he always thought she was the same age with him somehow. Now, even Laurel?
She was a really tough eighteen year old.
