Her Vengeful Lycan Alpha -
Chapter 193: New Name
Chapter 193: New Name
Chapter Hundred-Ninety-Three – New Name
The verdict came sooner than Laurel had expected it. Weren’t those Elders supposed to be favored by those lycans or something?
She remembered that they were allowed into her prison to hit her. Didn’t the Alpha or his Beta value them a bit?
But here, he called them fake and that they were never Elders of Black Claws. Also, he gave an apology for the attempted murder she experienced.
She narrowed her eyes at the written verdict sent to her by the Lead Warrior, from the Alpha. The Elders were sentenced to prison till whenever.
Laurel didn’t care about those old men but somehow, she assumed the Lycans would try to convert them to their side.
After all, those elders supposedly advised the former King to his glory. "Maybe they didn’t think that far." Laurel dropped the written Verdict.
"Or maybe, they could smell the scum from those men already." Elma continued.
Laurel smiled. That was another probable reason.
Her eyes returned to the verdict. Why was this one written when that Alpha could’ve told the Lead Warrior directly?
Elma cooed, checking out his handwriting. "You can tell he has a really good grip with the way he writes."
Laurel scowled, dropping the verdict. Her wolf should really get a grip on herself. Handwritings meant nothing, at least to her, who hated writing.
Those strokes mirrored their owner.
She had realized after seeing Sorren’s cursive strokes that were nice to look at but almost unreadable.
Just like Sorren, nice to look at, but unreadable. Also the cursive strokes showed just how dramatic he was.
Laurel also disliked how Stefan’s firm and straight strokes painted him as straightforward. She didn’t think so.
He had not released a verdict on her for months after his initial ones to kill her, for being his mate, so as far as she knew, she could still be killed by him.
Hence why she needed to be strong and for those around her to be, as well. She already had a plan to hatch this.
"Lead Warrior Baxter," she called the young man that had been standing before her, "thank you for the written verdict. Is the Alpha busy? I need a meeting with him."
Baxter’s lips parted. The Princess wanted to speak with the Alpha? He’d very much want to watch it.
He had always been curious to know how the Alpha treated the Princess.
All Sigma told him was the Princess had been imprisoned, so she must hate the Alpha.
"I’d let him know immediately, and then, I’d come to escort you." The Lead Warrior said, as he slowly backed away and left the hall.
Laurel huffed. She never said she’d be the one seeing the Alpha, but if it’d make things faster, then fine. Her mind link was nudged on and Laurel frowned.
Another linking miracle had happened, and it was to the young man she saved from slavery. That living leech.
Laurel frowned even deeper when she opened her link and the first thing he asked was. "Pink or Red?"
Perhaps she morphed into his mother in the night? So she checked herself. No, she was still in her eighteen year old body that wasn’t ready to carry a child.
"Report to Valkyrie. If you get the permission from the Alpha to have a meeting with him, you two will pay him a visit." She changed the topic.
"I’d use blue then." He said instead. "Ah, yes. Valkyrie."
Laurel cut the link, her expression being one of distraught. How did she keep getting involved with weird people?
Few minutes later, she caught his scent around the hall she sat in, almost asleep. Slowly, opening her eyes, she noticed he wore black.
What happened to all the colors he spoke about? And was he messing with her by speaking of colors while being color blind or was that another lie?
As opposed to her earlier judgment of being in his mid twenties, seeing him now, with a slimmer body structure though fit, she could swear that he was.... a child trapped in a man’s body, like a ten year old.
"Why is your hair in two ponytails?" Laurel glared at the two tails on his head. He even shook his hair slightly so it’d dance. He was truly ten.
The clothes he wore stayed on him fittingly and were cloth-like leathered suits Valkyrie wore.
The white cloth was still on his eyes but even still, he was a good looking young man. Laurel crossed her legs. "Did you tell Valkyrie what I said?"
He stopped shaking his head, becoming serious. "I did. The information you want to relay to the Alpha, Valkyrie said you told her before. Being trained by a General, is it?"
His switch to seriousness made Laurel sit up, finally glad she could say something that he’d concentrate on.
She had sent a notice about the Princess’ Elite Forces but it was yet to be given a response.
Laurel planned to blame it all on Jessika if the Alpha asked where she got such an idea.
And as the young man was the strongest, currently, in the two member force, she wanted him to go with the Lead Warrior, as her representative and speak with the Alpha.
"Yes, about training our warriors. We all are under Black Claws so there’s no reason why the General can’t train us too." She smirked. "Don’t take no for an answer."
The Black Claws Warriors were more werewolves at the moment, so it wouldn’t be out of place for Green Valleys’ Warriors to join them.
"I will do my best." The young man scratched his head. "What will be my reward for succeeding though?"
The Princess glared at him with low level of disdain, seeing his hopeful face. Imagine asking for a reward when the job hadn’t been done.
"How about I’d not sell you to a Master that finds you appealing?" She raised a brow.
The young man shuddered and he wrapped his hand around himself. "Th-That’s good enough."
Laurel sighed. "Now tell me. What is your name?"
His hands fell from his body, he looked somewhat sober. "That name has put me in trouble because it’s related to magic. Also, it sounds feminine. I’d like a new one."
Sounds Feminine? "You should treasure your name though." she said with a hint of mockery. If it’s related to magic then it’s best to keep it somewhere else.
"Alright. For no reason at all, I’d give you Zeldris."
The young man’s eyes lowered. "It’s similar to my original name." he rubbed his face. "But Zeldris is fine."
At that moment, the Lead Warrior walked in, head down. "Your highness, the Alpha accepts your request to speak with him."
Laurel smiled. That was fast. She looked over to Zeldris, who nodded in understanding.
