Heavenly Unbound: The System Maker!
Chapter 184 – Lan Hengsheng Vs Xia Clan Elders!

Hengsheng wondered if his entrance looked cool enough. Then, an idea popped into his head—should he create a system that rewards him every time someone admires him?

‘What should I call it? The Coolest System? The Badass System? The Like System?’ He got lost in thought, taking the idea way too seriously.

While Hengsheng was lost in thought, the senior elder reacted—his Qi surged as he strongly pulled his arm back. Hengsheng immediately sensed the senior elder's action; he did not insist on holding the other party’s wrist and let it go easily.

After being freed, the senior elder quickly backed away from Hengsheng and Xia Zhenxue's spot.

Then, the sound of weapons being drawn rang throughout the entire chamber, as every elder present drew their weapons, pointing them at the intruder.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?!" the senior elder shouted at Hengsheng, his expression grim as he rubbed the wrist that had been caught earlier.

The atmosphere inside the grand frozen chamber became intense, as no one ever expected that one day an invader would appear in the heart of their territory.

"Relax… is this how the Xia Clan treats a guest?" Hengsheng said playfully as if the tense atmosphere in the chamber meant nothing to him.

Silence… no reaction from the crowd. Their expressions were grim. The man in the black and golden robes before them was mysterious—he had appeared in this sacred place without anyone noticing as if he were invisible.

Even more alarming, they couldn’t sense the other party’s cultivation realm at all. But from his earlier action—stopping the senior elder’s attempt to capture Xia Zhenxue with ease—this man had to be at least a Grand Unity Realm expert!

Hengsheng's eyes swept across everyone in the chamber. Whenever his gaze landed on them, they flinched, ready to defend themselves, as they expected him to attack.

"It seems like my entrance startled you all. Let me introduce myself first," Hengsheng said, his tone becoming more serious.

"I am Lan Hengsheng, Chairman of the Endless Wealth Company!" he said, clasping his hands as his eyes glanced toward the Xia Clan Patriarch.

"The Endless Wealth Company?" the senior elder said, tilting his head—clearly, he had never heard of the name before. Then, one of the elders who handled intelligence matters sent a voice transmission directly to his mind.

"So, you're the one who came with Zhenxue. But you still haven’t explained how you showed up in this place," the senior elder said.

"Does it really matter?" Hengsheng turned to the senior elder and replied with a smirk. Who’d be dumb enough to reveal their secret method to others?

"Yes, it doesn’t matter…" the senior elder said coldly, a killing intent radiating from his gaze.

"But you’ve made a grave mistake by intruding here without permission. The penalty… is death!" As the senior elder declared this, all the elders rushed toward Hengsheng, intent on putting him down.

Hengsheng noticed an old man appear behind him, intending to escort Xia Zhenxue away. He recognized that this was an elder from Xia Zhenxue's family branch, so he let him act without interference.

Then his attention turned to more than fifty Grand Unity experts who were swarming toward him with killing intent.

If this had been ten years ago, he would have run away immediately—but ten years had passed, and now he was strong enough not to flinch in a situation like this.

Even though his cultivation realm had only risen by three minor realms from that time, as the System Maker, his ways of growing in strength are unlimited, not fixed to cultivation alone.

Even at the current True Body cultivation realm, his true strength was now equal to that of a Grand Unity Realm expert!

The swirling cloud of Chaos Qi appeared above his palm, sending out an invisible wave that swept past the swarming elders. Half of them suddenly stopped in their tracks, standing still and mindless—their minds trapped within the Mind Labyrinth.

Other elders noticed this, but they did not stop, attacking Hengsheng.

The sword slashed through the air, aiming at Hengsheng's neck. He swiftly dodged it, his hands glowing with green light, and sent out a palm strike to counterattack.

The elder who was struck by Hengsheng’s palm felt the weight of a mountain pressing down on him. He was immediately hurled backward, uncontrollably.

Another elder stepped in to replace the one who had just been sent flying. The Ice Qi took the shape of an ice hammer that appeared above his fist as he slammed it at Hengsheng.

Hengsheng sensed the attack coming—not just one, but multiple assaults from all directions. He took a fighting stance and then moved swiftly, utilizing his martial techniques to intercept and retaliate against them.

Heavenly Fists.

World Shatter Palms.

Piercing Indexes.

All the movements flowed together seamlessly, protecting him from the deadly attacks of the Xia Clan elders.

The senior elder's eyes turned sharp as he saw through the weakness in Hengsheng's technique. He clenched his sword and then rushed toward Hengsheng, his sword screaming as he thrust it at the opponent.

The opponent dodged, flowing like formless water. Seeing the opponent dodge, the senior elder was not upset, since the opponent was not the target of his sword in the first place, but a small, dark gray, swirling cloud that was floating near him.

The senior elder's sword destroyed the Chaos Mind Labyrinth, awakening those who had been trapped inside. They were briefly confused, but the next moment, they remembered the situation and joined the attack on the intruder.

Hengsheng saw that the number of attackers had increased, so he retreated away from them.

The Xia Clan elders followed close behind. With the advantages of their higher cultivation realm’s traits, their actions were less restricted by the laws of physics; generally, they were faster than he was. Only generally.

The Snow Phoenix, screaming.

The icy claw, crushing.

Hundred icy swords, forming a sword formation.

All kinds of attacks sent by the Xia Clan elders were aimed at Hengsheng. He looked at them not with panic or fear, but with a smirk.

Hengsheng's eyes turned completely golden. He did not shoot a solar blast as usual; instead, a brilliant golden light burst forth as his entire body disappeared from the spot where the Xia Clan elders' attacks landed.

The instant moment, he reappeared in another spot away from the Xia Clan elders.

Seeing Hengsheng's movement speed, the Xia Clan elders were shocked—they couldn’t keep up!

All they saw was a brilliant light, and then the opponent was gone.

What Hengsheng used earlier was not a secret technique, but a sub-ability of the Solar Gaze genetic trait. It allowed him to move along the solar light he had cast from his eyes, enabling him to move at the speed of light!

The same move that Samuel Barlow used to escape from the Hollow Earth!

The blazing flame aura surged from his entire body, the heat where he stood was so intense that the icy floor beneath his feet began to melt.

Hengsheng's golden eyes continued to glow, more shining and more brilliant. The amount of Solar Qi that had accumulated within them was insane.

He could have fired the Solar Blast at any time, but he did not do so immediately, since he did not want to kill them.

The elders on the side of the chamber could sense intense Solar Qi from the opponent; their expressions turned pale, and they immediately formed a defensive formation.

A gigantic pair of icy wings appeared and embraced the group of Xia Clan elders, shielding them from all threats.

When Hengsheng saw that the Xia Clan elders were ready to defend against his attack, he unleashed the Solar Blast—an extreme heat beam shot out from his eyes, rushing toward the group of elders at an unavoidable speed.

The solar spear of judgment moved in a straight line.

The grand frozen chamber's floor melted as the heat beam traveled past, and at the speed of light, it collided with the icy wings shield.

An eruption of destruction occurred—the shockwave it generated was strong enough to kill anyone with a low cultivation realm.

Cracks began to appear on the icy wing shield, making the expressions of the elders inside turn pale. Some coughed up blood from their mouths, having expended too much Qi in the defense.

In the next moment, the icy wing shield shattered. The Solar Blast struck the center of the crowd, sending all the elders flying in every direction from the destructive blast.

Hengsheng's eyes returned to normal as he stopped firing the Solar Blast. If he hadn't stopped, some of them might have died for real.

He gazed at the group of Xia Clan elders. Those in the early stage of Grand Unity were already unconscious, while those at the middle and late stages had varying degrees of injuries.

Then Hengsheng's eyes spotted the senior elder, who stood up from the floor, gazing at him with vengeful eyes.

The senior elder was not injured much—only a small burn on his arm. He looked around, seeing that all the other elders were not ready to fight, and then his gaze returned to the intruder.

He clenched his sword. Since there were no allies nearby, he could safely exert his might. He intended to use his full might to subdue the intruder.

The senior elder took a sword-thrust stance as he prepared to perform an attack.

However, before things could continue, Xia Zhenhai, the Xia Clan Patriarch who had been watching the whole time, finally spoke.

"That’s enough," Xia Zhenhai said in a voice full of authority.
