Chapter 97: Chapter 97 This Feeling Is Very Happy

"Arabella, look at those designers! They’re all internationally famous jewelry and fashion designers!"

"How did they all end up in Dunmore City?"

Arabella Shaw followed Eliza Quarter’s gaze.

Just then, she saw the manager of Noble Grid Hotel leading several designers into the restaurant.

She hadn’t expected that her visit to see the engagement venue setup would result in a chance encounter with world-renowned designers.

The thought of her wedding dress, coming after the engagement party, and then the wedding banquet.

Having an internationally acclaimed designer create her wedding dress would be something to boast about.

In the past, these designers wouldn’t have taken an order from a minor celebrity like her.

But now, Arabella felt confident.

As the fiancée of the Chairman of Quarter Group, these designers would likely show her some courtesy.

Arabella approached them and greeted with a smile, "Mr. Tai, hello, I hope I’m not intruding."

She smiled politely at each of the designers.

Mr. Tai was a foreigner, but he spoke Chinese very well.

He was one of the internationally recognized fashion designers, known for blending luxury with elegance.

Many socialites adored his designs.

Mr. Tai was quite the gentleman, and he stood up, "Hello, madam."

Arabella spoke courteously; she didn’t want to impose for too long.

"It’s really a pleasure to meet you. My fiancé is the Chairman of Quarter Group and my surname is Shaw. We’re planning our wedding soon, and I would like to ask for your help in designing a wedding dress."

Her straightforward approach didn’t seem to upset Mr. Tai despite the interruption.

Mr. Tai replied apologetically, "I’m currently committed to a custom order for another client."

He had created two suits that Mr. Thompson took a liking to.

Arabella regretted to hear Mr. Tai’s refusal, "Thank you, I won’t disturb your meal any further."

Another design master, Andy, knew Noah Quarter; he had designed clothes for Noah for several years.

However, it was Secretary Land who would contact him.

Only in the past year, he hadn’t received an order from Secretary Land for custom clothing.

Design master Andy said to Arabella, "Congratulations, Miss Shaw, on your engagement to Mr. Quarter; I’ve designed clothes for Mr. Quarter for several years."

Arabella beamed with delight, "Thank you, Mr. Andy."

She felt a twinge of regret, wishing she had consulted with Master Andy about the wedding dress sooner.

Now it wasn’t appropriate to ask Andy for his assistance in front of Mr. Tai.

Arabella planned to ask Noah Quarter for Master Andy’s contact information later.

Eliza and Arabella left the restaurant.

Eliza said with regret, "Actually, I really wanted to commission custom jewelry. It’s strange, why did all these masters come to Dunmore City?"

And their visit didn’t seem to be publicly announced.

Arabella shook her head, "I don’t know, probably for some event. I plan to visit Quarter Group later to see your brother, Eliza; do you want to come with me?"

Eliza blinked with a laugh, "I’ll pass on being the third wheel."

Arabella playfully glared at Eliza.

After watching Eliza step into her car and drive away, Arabella got into another vehicle.

She first picked up some pastries and coffee.

The snacks and coffee were intended as treats for the reception and secretarial staff at Quarter Group.

Although Arabella rarely visited Quarter Group, as the announced future wife of the Quarter family head, the receptionist recognized her.

"Thank you, Miss Shaw, for the coffee and pastries."

The receptionist smiled, called Secretary Strong, and then took Arabella to the chairman’s private elevator.

Noah Quarter merely hummed acknowledgment when Alexander Strong called through the intercom to inform him that Arabella Shaw was looking for him.

Arabella reached the 20th floor and handed the bag of pastries and coffee to Alexander Strong, taking out a cup for herself before entering the chairman’s office.

"Noah," Arabella approached the desk, placing the coffee on it, "I brought you coffee."

She leaned over to kiss Noah’s lips, then smiled sweetly, "I went to Noble Grid Hotel today to see the setup for our engagement venue; it’s really wonderful."

Noah Quarter massaged his forehead, "Good, as long as you like it."

"Today, I met fashion design master Andy, and I’m thinking about asking him to design a wedding dress. What do you think?"

Arabella circled the desk, sat on the arm of a chair, embracing Noah’s neck, and asked excitedly.

Noah Quarter looked up at Arabella, motioning her to stand, then got up himself and walked over to the couch, "Whatever you decide is fine."

Arabella was delighted that Noah seemed to be going along with her wishes, and she followed him to the couch to sit down.

"Then give me Master Andy’s contact information; I’ll reach out to him."

Noah pulled out a cigarette, having taken up smoking more frequently recently, "I don’t have his contact information."

"That’s odd, Mr. Andy said that you had been commissioning designs from him for years," Arabella was puzzled, "Could he have mistaken someone else?"

Noah Quarter paused for a moment, then something came to mind.

It seemed that Julia Land had mentioned once that she had commissioned clothes from Master Andy for him.

Arabella Shaw had just received a call from Sister Wilson. She was scheduled to record a show soon, "Got it, I’m on my way now."

After hanging up the phone, "Noah, I’m off to record the show."

As Arabella left the office and passed by the secretaries’ area, she casually asked Alexander Strong a question, "Secretary Strong, do you have contact information for fashion master Andy?"

Secretary Strong was known for his excellent work capabilities, and it was possible he could help her acquire the contact.

Sitting next to Alexander Strong’s desk, Ivy Wilson looked up and said, "Miss Shaw, I have Master Andy’s contact details."

Arabella smiled delightedly, "Great, thank you."

She walked over to Ivy, who opened up a notebook.

Ivy found Andy’s contact information and copied it down for Arabella.

Arabella noticed the notebook’s cover had Julia Land’s name on it.

It was obviously Julia Land’s work notebook!

Arabella’s grip tightened instantly, as understanding dawned on her.

No wonder the master said he’d been designing clothes for Noah for years.

It turned out that it was Julia who had been contacting him to custom-make Noah Quarter’s clothes all these years.

Arabella felt a rush of anger and repulsion, yet she maintained a smiling face as she accepted the piece of paper from Ivy, "Thank you."

She intended to go shopping for Noah after the show recording.

She planned to replace every item of clothing in his wardrobe.

Arabella left Quarter Group and got into her car.

She crumpled the piece of paper with Andy’s contact information and threw it into the trash bin.

*

As evening arrived.

Arabella went straight to the mall to buy clothes after recording the show.

She purchased clothes for Noah and brought them home to be immediately sent for cleaning.

She also instructed the maid to clear out the clothes in the wardrobe.

Although the butler had the maid pack the wardrobe clothes, he still called Alexander Strong.

Alexander frowned slightly after hearing the butler’s message before hanging up.

Noah had social engagements that evening.

Alexander approached Noah and whispered the butler’s message in his ear.

Noah set his glass down, excused himself from the gathering citing an urgent matter, and stepped out followed by Alexander.

The car was already waiting at the entrance, and Noah got in, giving a cool command, "Arrange for someone to clean up Jade Gardens and have my clothes delivered there."

A hint of ruthlessness flickered in his eyes.

Alexander called the butler.

Following Mr. Quarter’s orders, the butler had Jade Gardens cleaned and the packed clothing delivered there.

Arabella knew nothing of these arrangements.

After her bath, with a towel still in her hands, Arabella saw Noah and approached with a smile, "Back so soon?"

Arabella undoubtedly had a beautiful visage.

She sat on Noah’s lap.

Her damp hair and slightly open bathrobe, with a few droplets gracing her collarbone, added a touch of seduction.

Noah looked at Arabella indifferently and snuffed out the cigarette held between his fingers.

His long fingers rested on her fragile neck.

With a slight tightening.

Arabella was unaware.

Moments later, his fingers slipped under her bathrobe, pushing it aside.

Arabella leaned softly against him, her cheeks flushed, "You haven’t showered yet."

The man’s fingers emotionlessly withdrew from the collar of her robe.

"The butler told me you bought some clothes for me?" he asked in a rather detached tone.

Arabella lowered her gaze, avoiding his eyes, and said with a laugh, "I wanted to buy clothes for you personally, it feels so happy."

"Happy?"

Noah’s cold voice echoed the word.

His gaze was scrutinizing.

Arabella’s heart skipped a beat, and she playfully licked his jawline.

With dewy eyes, she said, "I’m telling the truth, I was jealous upon hearing all those clothes were bought by Julia Land for you."

She was clever.

And adept at anticipating his thoughts.

If something seemed amiss, she was quick to change direction.

Noah’s lips curved slightly; it was precisely because she was so good at reading him that she had managed to deceive him.

Making him seem all the more foolish.
