Chapter 217: Cultivation Chamber
Chapter 217: Cultivation Chamber
Tyr was currently sitting inside of a cultivation chamber. It was a pretty neat tool: a clean and efficient place for Hunters to grow in power without any disturbances.
Within the training facility was a large room that was lined with what looked like shelves all across the walls. In rows, they covered most of the room.
These ’shelves’ were no smaller than small rooms themselves, being 10 by 15 feet. These were the cultivation chambers, which numbered in the hundreds within this massive room.
The room had a fairly futuristic look to it, with streaks of Aura flowing through the seams of the metallic walls and ceilings.
To get inside one of the training chambers, one had to use their tech band to teleport inside their assigned chamber after entering the main lobby of the massive room.
Once inside, they were met with a neat place that had most necessities one would need to survive, such as food balls, toilets, showers, and things of that nature.
Finally, on the left side was a place for you to sit down and cultivate. This entire massive room was built in an area where Aura was plentiful.
It wasn’t extremely high in density, but more so than any old space.
Tyr would have liked to have found an Aura Cove instead, which was a natural cavern underground filled with naturally formed Aura Crystals which gave off immense amounts of Aura.
The Aura came from something in the area, whether it be a core of a very powerful beast of the past, or something else like an array.
That would cause Aura to leak out, becoming so dense that they would eventually crystallize into Aura Crystals.
However, finding one of those wasn’t an easy task, and Tyr wanted to waste no time in cultivating.
Of course, he was still open to finding one eventually.
He was getting ready to do his morning cultivation session.
"My fight with Crimson will be later today." He muttered to himself, "To be honest, I haven’t gained as much power as I would have liked. But, it is understandable."
He began to think about where he currently stood in his quest for power.
"Instead of cultivating nonstop, I have dedicated myself to learning martial arts and alchemy. There are still other things I need to get into, like blacksmithing, but I think that’s for a later date. Because I was so clueless on these fundamentals, I was forced to spend a lot of time and effort on them. That’s a mistake on my part, for being so useless when it came to them. I should have been slowly learning them from the beginning, so that I wasn’t just an amateur. Still, at least I mastered them to a degree."
He wasn’t too disappointed.
"The martial art I’ve learned is not bad. It’s a simple, yet powerful one, called the Wind Surge Fist. With it, my movements are much more fluid and effective, and don’t leave so many more openings when I fight. And the alchemy is also great, since I’ve been able to create up to A grade pills with it. I’m sure S grade pills are right around the corner at this pace. That has helped me with cultivation, at the very least."
Speaking of cultivation, Tyr decided to open up his status to see just how powerful he had gotten, and how close he was to breaking through past the Virtuoso Rank and into the Grandmaster Rank.
’Status.’

"Hmm..." Tyr closely inspected his stats, "Not bad. I’m still prioritizing strength, and keeping the others around the same amount. I think I’m on the brink of Ranking up as well."
Tyr sucked in a mouthful of breath before releasing it. He took out the Chaos Veil Sutra.
"I see why you’ve been such a challenge for Huevas and others..." Tyr said, looking at the scroll before him that was reeking with an ominous purple Aura.
So far, Tyr hadn’t been able to use the cultivation technique at all whatsoever.
But before even getting to that spot, right now, Tyr had no clue how he even unlocked the damn scroll.
He chuckled at that moment, shaking his head as he muttered: "All I was doing was retracing all of the steps relating to the fireball inside of a ring symbol in the Truid Dungeon. How I first saw the symbol, how I connected the symbol through the vegetables and fruits in the crop plots, and also how I used the symbol, including the words I had repeated over and over again. And before I knew it, the scroll was open and able to be used by me the next time I attempted to do so."
This sutra had taken Tyr for a ride of confusion so far. He wasn’t a big fan of it, but he was certainly a big fan of the power that exuded from it.
He sighed, "Well... I don’t know how I opened it, but that’s not the important part anyways. Using it is what actually matters, and I can’t seem to be able to do that at all whatsoever."
Tyr closed his eyes, entering the meditative state. Tyr had already absorbed all of the knowledge from the scroll about how to use it.
Despite that, the scroll had not disappeared. It stayed with him, unlike all other scrolls he had absorbed knowledge from.
Every other time Tyr had attempted to use this cultivation technique, it had failed miserably.
This time, he decided to give it another serious go.
He calmed himself, balancing his breath and concentrating deeply.
Before him lay a planet-sized beast of power, one which felt it could destroy Subworld itself if it wanted to.
With extreme focus, the cultivation began. It was an intuitive process always when it came to cultivation techniques. With enough imagination and focus, the technique would simply work according to the user’s wants.
However, as soon as this process started for Tyr, a blast of Aura crashed into his core.
It felt devastating, like being punched hard in the gut from the inside.
Tyr’s eyelids immediately flew open, all the air in his lungs forced out as he struggled to breathe.
