Chapter 216: Natural Born Monster
"Tyr Evolion." These words muttered out of Crimson Mathar’s mouth. His bright, pinkish red eyes were wide, frighteningly so.
He swung down a massive sword that was over 8 feet long and 1.5 feet wide into a boulder that was close to 50 feet in height.
"Hurrra!" Crimson exclaimed, his arms suddenly burst with a bright flame mixed with deep red, orange and yellow hues.
As the sword crashed into the boulder, a sudden eruption of pink flame overshadowed the rest of the fire, as the hill-sized stone was cut clean through.
Crimson pulled the sword back and threw it over his shoulder, as the boulder in front of him exploded into a thousand pieces.
A large chunk flew at over a thousand miles per hour and slammed right into his face--crashing with no friction whatsoever.
It fell to the ground, Crimson’s crazed expression the same. There was not a single scratch or blemish on his face.
He turned, walked into the forest with long, powerful steps.
"Hmph! The conquerer!" He roared, "The king!" He continued to speak to himself.
His friend, Kepl, sat on a branch of a tall tree, looking down at Crimson as he trained. A few feet in front of him was what looked to be an Aura-fueled camera.
And beside him on another branch was Reana Golda with a bright look on her face, "So... tell us about what type of person Crimson Mathar truly is..."
She looked to be filled with enthusiasm. Her eyes glanced down at Crimson for a second, ’This is a big scoop... the strongest within the Immortal Peak are going to be fighting soon... and Tyr, the Dragon Tamer, is one of them. How exciting!’
"A monster... a true monster in every regard." Kepl said, "There is not much more I can say. He is not like a normal person. His emotions, tactics, power... all of it transcends what it means to be a human. He is a monster that conquers all."
Reana felt her heart pound with eagerness for what was to unfold soon as she continued her questioning.
"How did he get this strong? Who truly is Crimson Mathar?"
Kepl paused, looking up at the sky.
"Who is Crimson... well... I don’t even really know myself."
"What!? But aren’t you the closest person to him in this entire branch!?"
"That may be true... but Crimson is not a normal person. He holds power and the essence of a conquerer above all else. He doesn’t gossip or share things with others, like normal people. He trains... and trains... and trains even more."
Reana was overwhelmed with intrigue.
Kepl continued to explain a bit of Crimson’s story, as he knew it.
They first met inside of the Immortal Peak. Kepl, being slightly older, was one to pick on other Hunter’s--especially those who were new.
However, the day he decided to pick on Crimson was the worst day in his entire time in the faction.
Kepl was beat to a pulp, looking more like a fruit than a human.
Crimson entered that canteen and showed everyone who was boss. When Hunter’s fought back, their attacks seemed to do no damage.
Crimson ravaged through everyone, like an uncontrollable monster.
In the end, all bowed down to him due to his actions. Actions, is what made him the conquerer.
He was feared from day one, wanting to be the top of the top. All instructors were forced to give him their best training, and all students helped him succeed because they had no other choice.
He twisted the Immortal Peak, making the entire damn thing his playground.
Until... one Hunter was strong enough to pose a challenge to him.
The leader of section B, who had decided to take the spot of top dog.
They had a decent fight, but it all unraveled as Crimson revealed he had been going easy the entire time.
After getting hurt badly, Crimson revealed his true monstrous nature. He couldn’t withhold himself, and tore through his opponents chest--slaughtering the young Hunter.
It was a battle to uncertain death, so no one could punish him. Despite that, the taint of killing another Hunter would always be on him, and on the minds of the people.
However, Crimson couldn’t care less about that. After that incident, he trained even harder, making sure he could never be beaten.
Training is what Crimson did, and he did it better and in a much higher volume than anyone else.
He made sure that the conquerer could never be hurt, and that his status would excel that of anyone.
These past few days, Crimson has been training solely to defeat Tyr. Every single word that comes out of his mouth is to beat Tyr. Every movement that he performs throughout the day is to beat Tyr.
He has obsessed over it, like death would come if a single second he thought about anything else.
"But even now!" Crimson suddenly shouted from below, capturing both Kepl’s and Reana’s attention.
"Even now... I am different." Crimson said, pointing his sword at the camera.
"Are you looking, Tyr!?" He roared.
Tyr was indeed looking at that clip. Through the tech band, he heard Crimson say:
"I forced everyone to bow on their knees by slamming them down with my fists. But you..." A deranged smile appeared on his face, "You did it through your own presence. A king... a king does that! How magnificent!" Crimson broke out into a maniacal laugh.
Reana felt chills go up her spine as she witnessed this.
"You truly are a natural born genius... one who is rightfully the conquerer. Yet... I will tear that throne from under you and rebuild it as my own! I don’t give a damn what is right and wrong. I will be the king in the end no matter what. Prepare to die... Dragon Tamer." Crimson aggressively turned walking away.
Tyr... was grinning, "Exhilarating..." He said, "Hahaha! Truly exhilarating... so... they think I am a natural born genius huh?"
