Chapter 215: Natural Born Genius

Chapter 215: Natural Born Genius

A pair of burning golden eyes peered down at a tech band.

"The News"

"Breaking! A new leader has been chosen for the news division! Her backstory is unknown as of now, but a certain Captain has promoted her straight to the top position. Her name is Reana Golda!"

"Reana Golda has made strides in helping certain Hunter groups in their missions, earning the favor and entering the Ten High Peak Faction."

"Reana Golda--"

Tyr raised his brow, "Huh... She had a lot of guts. Make’s sense that she’s made it this far."

He scrolled down slightly.

"More news has come out due to Reana’s genius!"

"News within each branch: ..."

Pictures of the various branches were shown. Hunter’s were being trained in many ways, and Reana seemed to have captured most of the eventful moments.

Tyr found this interesting, especially because each picture for the Free Flowing Peak, Seven Worlds Peak, and Million Seal Peak looked to have the members of Judgement on the front page.

’She must have done this on purpose...’ Tyr exclaimed, a slight smile tugging at one side of his lips, ’Even here, she must be trying to pay us back, and let us know what is going on.’

He found that to be nice. It was slightly comforting to know what his friends had been up to so far.

Although, the picture of Hanzo attempting to snatch the camera while hiding his private parts was pretty hilarious.

Tyr took in a deep breath, ’I wonder how strong they have gotten... I won’t fall behind.’

During the past month in the Immortal Peak, word had been spread about Tyr’s training--including within the conversations between instructors.

"I’ll tell you what..." A man said to an instructor beside him. The man who spoke looked stout and burly. He was made of condensed muscle, and he was clothed in a green gi. "Tyr has been excelling in my martial art classes. He learns damn quick, as if one night of sleep makes him master whatever he was taught the day prior."

The other instructor listened with intrigue as the one in the gi continued:

"He has a natural talent for fighting... it’s almost frightening to see how quick he understands the ways he can dismantle another human being... as if he was born to do just that. He knows the distance between himself and another, and has already mastered how to tighten and loosen your body to conserve energy. That takes even masters years to fully perfect..."

The other instructor chimed in, "I can say the same when it comes to my alchemy classes." This instructor wore a tall black robe. He was on the older side, with a short gray beard and a black crystal on his forehead.

"It’s clear he uses the small couldron given out to each student every single day. When it comes to the pills reaching up to A Grade, he has absolutely mastered their craft."

The instructor in the gi looked at the older instructor with a surprised expression.

The older gentleman continued: "He seems to naturally know how much ingredients to mix in order to make a perfect concoction of materials, but more than that, he has the perfect ebon flow within his body. It’s as if yin and yang have called his body their temple. In the beginning, he was slightly above average. But now, he can control his Aura just enough to create only stable pills of great power."

The two shook their heads in disbelief for a moment. The older instructor walked away, continuing on with his day.

He walked home, and the sun eventually sank below the horizon. The moon did the same not long after, and before he knew it, he was walking back to the training facility.

There, he talked to another instructor about Tyr’s alchemy training.

The other instructor was a woman who wore a royal-looking robe. Her eyebrows were naturally raised, giving a more elegant look to her.

She replied with her own stories: "It is indeed an anomaly as to how he has perfected these arts in such a quick fashion. Even when it comes to my cultivation instructions, Tyr seems to have more talent than the rest. He rests with complete concentration... and I believe he has already unlocked the transcendental cultivation, where one can see the world in the dimension of Aura in which Aura is visible."

A smile formed on her face, "I am glad to say that he is my pupil when it comes to cultivation."

The other instructor glanced at her before harrumphing and closing his eyes, "Well... you aren’t his only instructor... hmph!"

Another instructor came in the midst: "I think he is his only true instructor. All we really do is give him instructions, and he teaches himself."

Everyone looked at each other with an awkward silence.

*A couple weeks ago*

Tyr walked down the busy city street of the Immortal Peak. (Wasn’t meant to rhyme but it did!)

He wanted to buy beast materials so that he could convert them into pills and use them in his training.

He had used all of the beast materials that he had gathered throughout the time he was on Subworld, and now had to find more.

He had a decent chunk of money, so it was a good enough investment.

As he walked to the best beast material shop that he could find, he noticed Suyo’s familiar face.

Just for a moment, Tyr glanced in his direction, ’That guy... he really wanted to talk to me on the first day. I was quite harsh to him.’ Tyr mused as he scanned what the young Hunter was doing.

Suyo looked to be pushing a giant cart filled with boxes of materials with all of his might. In front, a quite frail old man was hauling the materials forward, struggling immensely.

They finally seemed to reach their destination, when the old man turned around and bowed, "Thank you, young Hunter! I owe you--" He was cut off.

Suyo quickly picked up the elder’s shoulders, "Don’t bow! I only did this because it is the right thing to do... I don’t need any thanks for it."

After a few more words, the two parted ways.

Tyr’s eyes narrowed as he saw this, ’He was beaten and humiliated from the very first day here... most would be traumatized, yet he still helps others. He is... quite strong.’

Tyr was of course speaking from the mental perspective. Although Suyo had seemed pathetic before, Tyr now saw the possibility of the young man simply trying to help him escape--not knowing Tyr’s ability.

Whatever the case, Tyr’s legs started moving toward Suyo.

He arrived before him, towering over the young Hunter.

Suyo gulped, facing Tyr with a fearful look on his face, "I-im sorry for blocking your way... section king. I’ll be on my way now." He walked to the side, his body quivering.

"Wait." Tyr said, Suyo halting and slowly looking back up at the tall Dragon Tamer.

"Uh... yes?" Suyo said, ’Damn it... I already upset him badly last time I spoke to him. He probably hates me now. I don’t know why I thought I could befriend him... he is the Dragon Tamer after all...’

"Im sorry." Tyr said with a straight face.

Suyo was prepared to apologize for what he had done, not knowing what it even was in the first place, but was abruptly taken aback by those words.

"W-what? Im sorry, I think I heard wrong."

"You heard correctly. I said im sorry."

Suyo stood there silently.

"I shouldn’t have dismissed you in the canteen. You aren’t that bad of a person... Lets move on without holding any ill feelings toward each other."

Suyo almost couldn’t believe what he was hearing. However, it was like a random rope thrown down to a survivor trapped in a hole.

For a millisecond, they wouldn’t believe it, but they sure as hell would grab onto that rope with their life!

"O-of course! No ill feelings here whatsoever!" Suyo chuckled as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"Good." Tyr smiled slightly, "Then I’ll see you around."

"Haha... you too! I’ll see you around as well!" Suyo felt a boost of confidence.

As the two parted ways, Tyr felt he had done the right thing, ’I think he will be helpful in the future...’

*Present moment*

The same three instructors continued staring at each other until one finally broke the silence:

The older alchemy instructor said with a curious excitement mixed with a deafening worry, "I believe he will fight Crimson Mathar soon. Stopping them will be impossible unless we are helped by higher authorities."

"Don’t even dream of that. No one will come here. The two will most definitely fight."

"I just hope that a part of the city isn’t ravaged like last time two strongest members within a section fought."

"I just hope that Tyr survives. Crimson brutally murdered the last king of section b."

Everyone looked down with grim expressions.

"Crimson... he is a monster in his own right. Even Tyr’s feats can not compare to his."
