After resolving to search for supplies, the Hero quickly traversed this land with her feet.

This Otherworld, inside the body of an Earth Devouring Snail, isn’t too small, but neither is it very big; it certainly couldn’t compare to the Count’s family’s courtyard.

Although Magic Creatures often possess Superpowers far beyond human reach due to their Lineage, there are limits.

High-tier Monsters are formidable, but the Adventurer Guild has no shortage of tasks to subdue them, and even the Hero herself has defeated Undead of the same level.

Hence, given the Earth Devouring Snail’s strength, this inner space couldn’t possibly be boundlessly vast.

The seemingly endless horizon is merely an optical illusion.

However, the Hero, upon reaching the edge of the space, did not rashly provoke it. After confirming the absence of other Sand Lizardfolk, she breezed through her exploration with a brisk jog.

The collusion between the Earth Devouring Snail and the Sand Lizardfolk had, unbeknownst to them, ensnared many adventurers who ventured into the Desolate Mountain.

Therefore, this Otherworld was littered with many discarded items, making the search much easier than expected.

After all, to the Lizardfolk, whose form and culture differ greatly from Humankind, many items adventurers carried were worthless,

such as lightweight clothes or warm garments, all useless against their Scale Armor; not to mention weapons of the appearance like the Hero’s Finger Claw, which they couldn’t use at all.

Some items they couldn’t use, or didn’t know how to use, and some weren’t even valuable enough to be sold. Thus, they simply discarded them here,

and obviously, the Earth Devouring Snail had no interest in these inedibles, which gradually turned this place into a space filled with "Junk."

Initially, the Hero only intended to find some useful things and then use a Spell Chant she had secretly learned to have the Monster, whose true form she had never seen, send her out, but the scene before her made her hesitate.

"Is this... a Teleportation Gate?"

A dull yellow vortex of Light swirled on the ground, faintly conveying the ambiance of the outside world.

With her backpack bulging again, she looked at the Teleportation Gate at her feet, unsure of where it led, eventually shaking her head and abandoning the idea of taking a risk.

After scrambling around in the Otherworld for a while, she finally managed to gather a full set of clothing.

Although her slender, girlish figure made it difficult to find fitting clothes among the junk, in such circumstances, she couldn’t afford to be picky.

Using ropes to tie up the clothing, or simply using a camping knife to cut off parts that were too long — even though it was a bit troublesome, as long as the clothes could protect her from the cold and wind, she didn’t mind their appearance.

As for shoes, although it was initially challenging, she was lucky to find a pair of boots that weren’t too far off in size, not knowing who the original owner was.

Although not completely fitting, padding a few layers of cotton under the sole was manageable.

She would likely take them off during battle anyway.

After searching in this not-so-large space, not only did she find a full set of clothes, but she also discovered other useful items and confirmed there were almost no signs of life here.

Meaning, the Sand Lizardfolk didn’t reside here; it’s very likely that the real dwelling of the Sand Lizardfolk lay just beyond this Teleportation Gate.

The Hero pondered for a moment but decided to communicate with the Earth Devouring Snail to return the original way.

Although returning the original way might mean facing the Sand Lizardfolk Leader and the true body of the Earth Devouring Snail, not to mention she didn’t know the situation beyond the Teleportation Gate, just being "teleported to an unknown place" was enough to deter the Hero.

Her goal was to head to Ice Heaven Lake, not to truly adventure around on this highland.

Moreover, a short reflection revealed that those Sand Lizardfolk aren’t Snow Women; a group of Heartless Demons likely wouldn’t be near the snowy mountains.

Thus, passing through the Teleportation Gate impulsively could probably lead her to a place far from the cold regions.

The more haste, less speed.

The Hero took a deep breath, crouched down, and slowly placed her hand on the Earth.

The communication magic of the Sand Lizardfolk Leader was somewhat similar to the Vibrating Water Illusion Sound she mimicked from the Water Mirror Crane, except that the Sand Lizardfolk communicated more purely through vibrations, so she just needed to release a similar frequency.
