Chapter 713: Dark Warden Seal
Chapter 713: Chapter 713: Dark Warden Seal
Sheng Yin’s heart skipped a beat. Yu Shuchang pulled away just enough to look into her eyes and smirked,
"Just keep this strong upfront till the end. I wouldn’t like it if you cried midway."
Sheng Yin swallowed hard, her throat dry, but she refused to let her composure crack.
She had dug her own grave with her words, and now, Yu Shuchang was ready to bury her in it.
She forced a tight-lipped smile, lifting her chin slightly as she met his gaze.
"Don’t worry about me, Mr. Yu. I always see my performances through to the end."
Yu Shuchang’s smirk deepened, his fingers briefly brushing over the armrest as if savoring her reaction.
"Good. I’d hate for my scene partner to falter."
With that, he straightened and walked away, his long strides effortlessly confident, as if he already knew the storm he had left brewing inside her.
Susan, still reeling from his rejection, clenched her fists at her sides.
She cast one last glance at Sheng Yin, her eyes filled with barely concealed hurt and frustration.
Then, without another word, she turned on her heel and left.
The room felt suffocatingly silent.
Sheng Yin pressed a hand against her chest, as if trying to still her racing heart.
How had things come to this? She had returned to the past, determined to change the trajectory of fate, yet she found herself dangerously ensnared in the same web again.
Worse, Yu Shuchang’s attention was no longer distant and indifferent—it was entirely focused on her, like a predator toying with its prey.
Her fingers curled into the fabric of her dress.
She couldn’t let him win.
She wouldn’t.
But as she stepped onto the set for the next scene, facing Yu Shuchang under the bright studio lights, his dark eyes locked onto hers with undeniable intensity.
She had a feeling she was already losing.
As expected, her gut feeling proved true.
The next scene was where the male lead and female lead would have a huge argument, and in between the argument, they would kiss...
Sheng Yin steadied her breath as the director called for action.
The cameras rolled, and the heated argument between their characters erupted into full force.
"You never meant a word you said!" Sheng Yin’s voice was sharp, laced with pain as she glared up at Yu Shuchang, who towered over her.
Yu Shuchang stepped forward, closing the distance between them.
"And what about you? You push me away at every chance you get, but you expect me to believe you don’t care?"
His voice was low, simmering with frustration and something far more dangerous—undeniable desire.
The tension between them crackled like a live wire, each word exchanged adding fuel to an already raging fire.
Sheng Yin felt her pulse quicken, her body reacting involuntarily to his presence.
Then came the moment she had been dreading—the kiss.
"Cut! Take positions for the next shot!" the director’s voice rang out.
Once they took their position, the director called, "Action!"
In an instant, Yu Shuchang’s hands gripped her waist, pulling her forward with a force that sent her heart spiraling into chaos.
His lips descended upon hers—not a gentle, hesitant kiss, but one filled with raw, consuming intensity.
Sheng Yin’s breath hitched, her hands instinctively pressing against his chest.
The heat between them was undeniable, overwhelming.
His lips moved against hers with a precision that made her knees weak, his grip firm, unrelenting.
She was supposed to resist, supposed to act like her character, who was caught off guard by this sudden aggression.
But was she acting, or was this real?
Her body betrayed her, melting slightly against him before she caught herself, stiffening in response.
But Yu Shuchang noticed. Of course, he did.
He smirked against her lips before nipping at her lower lip—a move that wasn’t in the script.
Sheng Yin gasped, her eyes flying open in shock.
"Cut. Miss Sheng, you have to resist! Your character is angry." The director explained gently.
Sheng Yin took a deep breath, shaking off the lingering sensation of Yu Shuchang’s lips against hers. The director’s voice echoed in the studio as the crew reset the scene.
"Alright, let’s go again. This time, more resistance from Sheng Yin."
She nodded quickly, positioning herself once more.
Yu Shuchang stood before her, his dark eyes watching her with an unreadable expression.
Was he enjoying this? She couldn’t tell, but the smirk that played at his lips made her heart pound harder than it should.
"Action!"
The moment the words left the director’s mouth, Yu Shuchang moved.
His hand gripped her waist again, pulling her toward him with firm insistence.
Sheng Yin barely had time to react before his lips crashed onto hers.
This time, the kiss was rough, forceful. It wasn’t just acting—he was pushing her, testing her limits.
She stiffened, hands pressing against his chest, trying to push him away.
But he held her in place, his fingers pressing against the small of her back as he deepened the kiss.
Her breath hitched, her heartbeat loud in her ears.
She was supposed to struggle more.
Remembering the director’s words, she twisted in his hold, finally managing to break free.
"Cut! Too aggressive, Yu Shuchang. Try again, but don’t overpower her so much," the director instructed.
Yu Shuchang exhaled through his nose, then flashed a smirk at Sheng Yin. "My apologies," he murmured, but the glint in his eyes told her he wasn’t sorry at all.
"Positions!"
They reset once again. Sheng Yin braced herself, her palms slightly clammy as she clenched her fists at her sides. The cameras rolled.
"Action!"
This time, the kiss was different.
Instead of the rough force from before, Yu Shuchang’s lips brushed against hers lightly, almost too soft, too hesitant.
The warmth of his breath tickled her skin, and for a moment, she nearly forgot to react.
His fingers barely grazed her waist, his touch featherlight.
It was the complete opposite of what she expected. Her heart stuttered.
"Cut! Now it’s too gentle. It needs passion, but also resistance!" The director sighed, rubbing his temple. "Again."
Sheng Yin swallowed hard.
This was torture.
Over and over, they repeated the scene.
Sometimes, Yu Shuchang would kiss her too roughly, other times too gently.
Each time, he seemed to enjoy throwing her off balance, as if he was trying to get a real reaction out of her.
And the worst part? It was working.
By the seventh take, Sheng Yin was breathless, her lips tingling from the repeated contact.
Yu Shuchang, on the other hand, looked perfectly composed, his breathing steady. Was this easy for him?
One more time. She had to get it right.
"Action!"
This time, she was ready.
As Yu Shuchang grabbed her waist and pulled her close, she pushed against his chest with all her strength, resisting.
When his lips met hers, she let the anger and frustration show. She struggled, refusing to let herself get swept away.
Yu Shuchang, sensing her resolve, smirked against her lips before finally pulling away.
"Cut!"
Silence filled the set.
"That’s the one," the director finally said, satisfied.
Sheng Yin exhaled deeply, her hands trembling slightly.
Yu Shuchang chuckled, leaning in slightly.
"Not bad, Miss Sheng. But I wonder... which take did you like best?"
Her heart skipped a beat. She scowled, turning away.
"None."
But even as she walked off set, her lips still burned from his touch.
In a corner she couldn’t see, a pair of eyes watched Sheng Yin with hatred.

Yu Holea returned to her villa and looked at the Dark Warden’s seal in her hand.
After some experimentation, she understood that the Dark Warden’s seal was a talisman’s stamp.
As long as blood was smeared on the seal, it could be stamped on talisman paper, and a luck-exchanging talisman could be made.
Easy and effective.
This also explains why the people behind the Luck Bound website didn’t have any reversal method.
But now that the seal was in her hand, could the Luck Bound website work?
Yu Holea checked the website and realized that the talismans were out of stock.
They still haven’t taken down the website, which meant that they thought they could snatch the seal from her hand.
"Foolish." Yu Holea muttered. Did they truly think she would let such evil thing live?
Yu Holea channeled her mystic energy into the Dark Warden’s seal, and a surge of resistance pulsed through the air.
The seal trembled in her grasp, emitting an eerie hum, as if unwilling to be destroyed.
Shadows flickered across the room, coiling like serpents, trying to crawl back into the seal’s core.
But Yu Holea was resolute.
With a determined glare, she tightened her grip and pushed her energy further.
The intricate engravings on the seal began to glow ominously before cracking apart, dark energy escaping in wisps of black smoke.
A loud snap echoed through the villa as the seal shattered into pieces, disintegrating into nothing but fine dust.
The ominous presence that had loomed over the room vanished instantly, leaving only silence in its wake.
