Sheng Yin was alone in the small dressing room, her frustration mounting as she tried—and failed—to reach the release she so desperately needed.

She had been so close, so close, but no matter what she did, it just wasn’t enough.

Her fingers moved against her clit, her breathing shallow and uneven, but the pleasure seemed to elude her, slipping through her fingers like water.

Why can’t I...? she thought, her frustration bubbling over as tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. She was so tired, so exhausted, and all she wanted was to feel that burst of relief, that moment of release. But it wasn’t happening, no matter how hard she tried.

Just as she was on the verge of giving up, of letting out a cry of frustration, she felt a hand on her shoulder, warm and firm.

She froze, her body going rigid as she turned to see Yu Shuchang standing behind her, his dark eyes fixed on hers.

"What are you doing here?" she whispered, her voice trembling as her heart pounded in her chest.

Her mind was racing, trying to make sense of what was happening, but Yu Shuchang didn’t answer.

Instead, his hand moved down, brushing against hers, and before she could protest, his fingers were there, taking over where hers had failed.

"You’re trying too hard," he murmured, his voice low and smooth as his fingers moved with a confidence that made her breath catch. "Relax. Let me take care of you."

Sheng Yin’s body stiffened, her instincts screaming at her to push him away, to stop this before it went too far.

But even as her hands pressed lightly against his chest, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

She was too desperate, too needy, and Yu Shuchang’s touch was already sending sparks through her, reigniting the fire she thought had burned out.

"I... I can’t..." she whispered, her voice shaking as she tried to find the words, but Yu Shuchang shook his head, his fingers never stopping their relentless rhythm.

"Yes, you can," he said, his voice firm and commanding. "You just need a little help."

And then she heard it—the sound of voices outside the door, her co-stars walking by, their laughter echoing through the hallway. Her body froze, her heart pounding as panic surged through her. "They’ll hear," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"Then keep it down," Yu Shuchang murmured, his lips brushing against her ear as his fingers continued to move, teasing and taunting her.

"You don’t want them to hear, do you?"

Sheng Yin shook her head frantically, her nails digging into his arm as she struggled to stay quiet, to keep control.

But it was so hard—so hard—when his fingers were working her like this when his voice was so close, so intimate.

She could feel the tension building in her stomach, the fire spreading through her veins, and she hated how much she wanted it.

Hated how much she needed it.

"Good girl," he whispered, his voice sending shivers down her spine. "Just let go. I’ve got you."

And then she was there, her body arching as the wave crashed over her, her mouth opening in a silent scream as pleasure ripped through her.

Yu Shuchang’s hand covered her mouth, muffling any sound she might have made, his other hand still working her through it, drawing it out until she was trembling, spent, and utterly breathless.

For a moment, there was only the sound of their breathing, heavy and uneven in the small room."Why... why did you do that?" she finally managed to whisper, her voice barely audible.

Yu Shuchang’s lips curved into a smirk, his fingers still lingering on her skin as if he didn’t want to let go.

"Because you needed it," he said simply, his voice low and rough. "And I couldn’t just stand by and watch you struggle."

But before she could say anything, the sound of voices outside the door grew louder, and she froze.

Yu Shuchang’s smirk widened, his eyes glinting with something dangerous as he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear.

"Looks like we’re not done yet," he murmured, his voice sending shivers down her spine.

"Let’s see if you can stay quiet this time."

"Noo!" Sheng Yin shouted and woke up.

It took her some time to realize that it was all her dreams!

"It is all because of that jerk’s recent closeness!" Sheng Yin muttered.

She kept herself tightly wrapped in her blankets for the next one hour.

Her manager had called her 3 times and asked her when she was leaving the home, but Sheng Yin couldn’t get out of her room at all.

For some reason, Yu Shuchang was acting completely different compared to her previous life.

He was obsessed with teasing her. And not just any teasing, teasing which could make anyone’s heart flutter!

At least her heart fluttered whenever he came near her. She even...even felt aroused.

What the f*ck was wrong with her!

Sheng Yin decided to avoid Yu Shuchang all along, but for some reason, however, she planned, she would still bump into Yu Shuchang.

At this point, Sheng Yin even started to wonder whether Yu Shuchang was deliberately teasing her.

Her phone rang again and Sheng Yin reluctantly picked it up.

Her manager’s voice blared through the phone as soon as she picked up.

"Sheng Yin! Where are you? You’re going to be late for the shoot! We’re on a tight schedule today!"

Sheng Yin sighed, trying to keep her voice steady.

"I’m... I’m not feeling well. Maybe I should skip today?"

There was a pause on the other end before her manager groaned.

"Not this again! You were fine yesterday. Don’t make me come over there and drag you out myself!"

Sheng Yin groaned softly and pulled the blanket tighter around her.

"I’ll be there in twenty minutes," she mumbled and hung up before her manager could yell more.

She stared at the ceiling, her mind racing back to Yu Shuchang.

His smirk, the way his eyes sparkled when he teased her, the way his hand brushed against hers like it was on purpose...

"Ugh!" she groaned, burying her face into her pillow. "What is wrong with me?!"

She forced herself out of bed and stumbled to the bathroom.

Splashing cold water on her face, she tried to shake off the thoughts of Yu Shuchang. But his face lingered in her mind, making her heart beat faster.

"Get a grip, Sheng Yin," she muttered to her reflection. "You’re not some lovesick teenager."

After quickly getting dressed, she grabbed her bag and rushed out, her heart sank.

Yu Shuchang was standing there, leaning casually against the wall, his phone in hand. He looked up and their eyes met. A slow, knowing smile spread across his face.

"Morning, Sheng Yin," he said smoothly. "Fancy seeing you here."

Her heart thudded in her chest, but she forced a neutral expression.

"I live here," she replied dryly, walking past him toward the door.

But of course, Yu Shuchang wasn’t done. He fell into step beside her, his presence way too close for comfort.

"You’re avoiding me," he said, his tone playful.

"I am not," she snapped, not looking at him.

"Liar," he chuckled. "Is it because you’re scared of how you feel around me?"

Sheng Yin stopped dead in her tracks, turning to glare at him.

"You’re full of yourself," she hissed.

Yu Shuchang just grinned wider, leaning in closer until his face was inches from hers.

"Maybe," he whispered, "but I think you like it."

Her breath hitched, and before she could come up with a witty comeback, he straightened up and walked ahead, waving over his shoulder.

"Let’s go, I will drop you to your shooting location." Yu Shuchang said.

Sheng Yin stood there for a moment, completely frozen."I don’t need a ride!" she finally shouted after him, but Yu Shuchang didn’t even look back. He just kept walking toward his car, confident she would follow.

And, to her frustration, she did.

Grumbling under her breath, Sheng Yin stomped after him.

She told herself it was only because she was running late and didn’t have time to argue.

It definitely had nothing to do with the way his teasing made her feel... weird. And definitely not because part of her liked it.

When she reached his car, Yu Shuchang was already in the driver’s seat, the engine purring softly.

He leaned over and popped the door open for her, his smirk still in place.

"Get in," he said casually.

Sheng Yin rolled her eyes but climbed into the passenger seat. As soon as she buckled her seatbelt, Yu Shuchang pulled out of the parking lot.

The car ride was silent at first.

Sheng Yin stared out the window, refusing to look at him. But she could feel his eyes on her every few seconds.

It was like the air in the car was charged with electricity, making her skin tingle.

Finally, Yu Shuchang broke the silence.
