Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 659: Luck Bound

Chapter 659: Chapter 659: Luck Bound

Nan Kelin looked away, his face a mix of anger and sorrow.

"You betrayed me," he said softly, the words cutting like a blade.

Chu Wugao shook his head, his voice filled with disgust.

"And you destroyed my life just to save your brother’s and your boyfriend’s."

Yu Holea sighed deeply and crouched down in front of Assistant Su, her voice firm but slightly softer.

"Sorry isn’t enough," she said. "We need to fix this. Who runs that website? Do you have their contact information?"

Assistant Su sniffled and nodded.

"Yes," she said weakly. "I’ll give it to you. But... I don’t know if they’ll help. They’re... strange."

"Should have stopped there." Yu Holea muttered.

After staying in special force, Yu Holea realized that 50% of the cases existed because some ordinary humans use evil products for their benefit while unknowingly harming others.

Foolish people are the most dangerous.

These ordinary humans though innocent are punished according to the rules of the special force.

Their foolishness can’t be justified by their innocence.

"What is the name of the website?" Yu Holea asked.

Assistant Su nodded again, her hands trembling as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone.

"The website... it’s called ’LuckBound.’ I’ll show you the link," she whispered.

Nan Kelin scoffed, his arms crossed. "LuckBound? Sounds like some scam run by shady people."

Chu Wugao frowned.

"Shady or not, they’ve messed up my life. We need to find them and fix this."

Yu Holea peered at the screen as Assistant Su pulled up the site. The page was dark, with swirling gold patterns and an eerie tagline:

"Your fate, your choice." There was a section for testimonials, each one claiming miraculous success after using the talismans.

Assistant Su seeing everyone engrossed, started to inch toward the doors, but Yu Holea’s cold voice stopped her,

"Don’t even think about leaving. I am reporting and within a few minutes, the police will arrive. You will be punished according to your charges."

Assistant Su’s face turned pale, she instantly knelt down and begged,

"Please! Please don’t send me to jail! Aren’t you all fine?"

Her last question made the two men in the room angry.

"Fine?" Chu Wugao roared, "Do you even know how much I have suffered? I lost more than 2 billion yuan, and got into a car accident, all because you were my girlfriend.

The funny thing is, each time you showed me concern and care, I saw you as a gentle person!

I can forget the 2 billion yuans and I can even forget the car accident, but betrayal? Betrayal can’t be forgotten."

Nan Kelin’s face turned dark and he stared at Assistant Su,

"What about me? I helped you out when you were a newbie and hired you. You had no skills, but I believed in you.

It was me, who helped you in your dark times. But you...you not only felt any gratitude but instead betrayed me...Do you know that I was about to die just a few minutes ago?

If it weren’t for Miss Yu, I might have truly died a gruesome death!"

Assistant Su sobbed harder, her hands clasped together as if praying for forgiveness.

"I know I was wrong! I... I never wanted it to go this far! I thought... I thought I could control it!" she wailed.

Yu Holea crossed her arms, her eyes like steel.

"That’s the problem. You played with something you didn’t understand, and people got hurt because of it."

Chu Wugao’s voice was filled with bitterness.

"You used me like some pawn in your little game to fix your brother’s life. Did you ever care about me, even for a second?"

Assistant Su looked up, her eyes swollen with tears. "I did! I really did! But my brother... he was going to end his life. I had no choice!"

Nan Kelin scoffed, his voice icy.

"No choice? You had plenty of choices. You could’ve asked for help, go to a doctor, anything but this!"

Yu Holea held up her hand to silence them.

"Enough. Fighting won’t change what happened."

Just then, a few people in special force dress entered the apartment. They saluted at Yu Holea, who nodded in their direction.

Chu Wugao and Nan Kelin were in awe.

Assistant Su cried during the entire time. She begged but no one felt any mercy for her. Once she was dragged away Yu Holea ordered her subordinate to investigate the LuckBound.

Nan Kelin snapped out of his daze and suddenly shouted,

"Wait if she leaves, then how will we be able to reverse this luck-swapping?"

Yu Holea turned to Nan Kelin, her expression calm and unbothered by his outburst. "Don’t worry," she said firmly. "I’ll reverse the luck swapping. You’ll both get your original fortunes back."

Nan Kelin’s tense shoulders relaxed slightly, though his eyes still held doubt. "How can you be so sure?"

Yu Holea didn’t answer right away. Instead, she reached into her coat pocket and pulled out two talismans.

They glowed faintly, their surfaces covered with intricate golden symbols that seemed to move and shimmer.

"These talismans will fix everything," she said, holding one in each hand.

Before either man could say a word, Yu Holea flicked her wrists.

One talisman flew through the air and stuck to Chu Wugao’s chest with a soft flash of light.

The other zipped toward Nan Kelin, attaching itself to his sleeve. Both men froze, wide-eyed, waiting for something dramatic to happen.

But nothing did.

Chu Wugao blinked and touched the talisman on his chest, frowning. "I don’t feel any different."

Nan Kelin glanced at his own talisman, then back at Yu Holea. "Are you sure this worked?" he asked skeptically.

Yu Holea crossed her arms, her tone confident.

"It’s done. Your luck has been restored to what it was before. Give it some time, and you’ll notice the difference soon enough."

Chu Wugao still looked uncertain, but he nodded slowly. "If you say so..."

Nan Kelin wasn’t fully convinced but decided to trust her. After all, Yu Holea had already saved his life once.

A moment of silence passed before Chu Wugao hesitated and asked,

"What about Assistant Su’s brother? What’s going to happen to him now?"

Yu Holea’s expression didn’t change. She spoke calmly, her voice as steady as ever.

"He’ll be given his bad luck back. It was never his to lose in the first place."

Chu Wugao frowned. "But... he’s in a bad place. Will he be okay?"

Yu Holea’s eyes softened slightly, though her tone remained firm.

"What happens to him next is out of our hands. He’ll have to face the consequences of his own actions, just like everyone else."

What she didn’t tell them was, no one has bad luck for no reason.

She was plagued by bad luck in her past life because of her heaven-defying abilities.

So assistant Su’s brother for sure had done some bad deeds in the past life or in this life, because of which he was plagued by bad luck.

And if he was plagued by bad luck for no reason, then the heaven will compensate him.

Nan Kelin sighed, rubbing his temples. "I guess it’s only fair," he muttered.

Chu Wugao nodded reluctantly. "Yeah... I just hope he doesn’t do anything reckless again."

Yu Holea glanced around the room, her job done. "Alright, I’ll be heading out now. The situation has been resolved. Stay out of trouble," she said firmly, turning toward the door.

But before she could take a step, both Nan Kelin and Chu Wugao called out at the same time, "Wait!"

Yu Holea turned back, her brow raised in surprise.

Chu Wugao crossed his arms and frowned at Nan Kelin. "Why are you stopping her?" he demanded.

Nan Kelin gave him an equally sharp look. "I was about to ask you the same thing!"

The two best friends stared at each other, their expressions tense.

Slowly, the anger faded, replaced by awkward silence. Neither of them had a clear answer.

After a moment, Nan Kelin cleared his throat, looking a bit embarrassed. He turned to Yu Holea and spoke softly,

"Actually... I was wondering if I could buy one of those talismans. The one you used to exorcise the ghost."

Chu Wugao looked surprised but then nodded.

"That’s a good idea. I want one too."

Yu Holea tilted her head, her expression unreadable.

"They’re not cheap," she warned. "Each exorcism talisman costs 100,000 yuan."

Without hesitation, Nan Kelin pulled out his phone and transferred 20 million yuan to Yu Holea.

Her eyes widened slightly as her phone pinged with the confirmation. "You want 200 talismans?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Nan Kelin shook his head.

"No. Just 100 talismans. The other 10 million is for your fees. You saved my life. It’s only fair."

Yu Holea blinked, taken aback by his generosity. She paused for a moment before nodding.

"Alright," she said, a small smile appearing on her face.

Not wanting to be outdone, Chu Wugao quickly grabbed his phone and transferred 20 million yuan as well.
