Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All
Chapter 475: Third Eye Talisman

Chapter 475: Chapter 475: Third Eye Talisman

The candidates couldn’t help but gasp.

Twenty lashes was enough to make a person half dead!

The words hung heavy in the air, an ominous threat that sent shivers down their spines. The phoenix-masked woman smirked, relishing the power she wielded over Yu Holea.

The cat-masked woman heaved a sigh of relief when the phoenix-masked woman took her signal and used her trump card.

The swan-masked woman who was now acting as a mediator suddenly turned silent and lowered her head as if she didn’t know anything.

The rest of the candidates sighed, as to how cruel the phoenix-masked woman was!

Yu Holea still had a small smile on her face,

"You can’t."

The phoenix-masked woman’s smirk faltered, but she quickly regained her composure.

"Very well," she snapped her fingers, and two burly guards stepped forward, their expressions blank.

Since this b*tch wants to make a scene and prove that she is invincible, she would teach her a lesson.

The phoenix-masked woman waved her two fingers back and forth as if asking them to move.

The bodyguard walked up to Yu Holea and just as they were about to touch Yu Holea, a bright light from Yu Holea threw them back.

They landed with a heavy thud, clearly shocked and momentarily disoriented. The entire hall went silent, eyes wide in astonishment.

"What... what is this?" the phoenix-masked woman stammered, her arrogance slipping as she stared at Yu Holea, who was now enveloped in a faint, radiant aura.

Yu Holea looked at her with a serene expression.

"Did you forget? I have been acknowledged by the heavens. How could a person with a small authority harm me?"

The phoenix-masked woman’s face turned pale.

Yu Holea chuckled,

"Okay, let’s stop our game, shall we?"

Then without waiting for the phoenix-masked woman’s reply, Yu Holea took out 18 talismans.

"Recently I was studying the rules of the goddess city and came across an interesting contribution, the previous goddess had made.

She exorcised 10,000 ghosts! How...fascinating. Then I thought about my sisters."

Saying so she looked at all the candidates and her gaze stopped at the phoenix-masked woman as she said,

"Sister Phoenix, I thought such a good contribution should be made by everyone, so I have specially prepared some amazing talismans for you all, that would assist you in making that contribution."

Hearing the word ’talisman’ all the candidates present felt scared.

Even the phoenix-masked woman shuddered.

Yu Holea had gone crazy and this could be seen by the way how calm she was...

It was truly bizarre.

How could she have any good intentions?

By talismans...she means the misfortune talismans right?

Her guess was partially correct.

"Ah! Miss Yu, I have made enough contribution, I don’t need those talismans." One of the candidates said hurriedly.

Others followed behind,

"Yes! Yes! I am already busy with some other work."

"Me too!"

"I don’t need it too. I don’t know how to exorcise the ghost in first place anyway!"

The cat-masked woman too understood that she had encountered a strong opponent today, so she immediately backed off,

"Right! Sister Yu, why don’t you put away those talismans? We don’t need them?"

Yu Holea shook her head,

"Who said, I care whether you need them or not?"

She chuckled and continued,

"Since you all can take a test of mine enough I don’t need it, why should I care?"

Whoosh.

The very next second, Yu Holea flicked all the talismans.

The talismans shot through the air, their mystical energies crackling as they flew toward the candidates. Panic ensued as the candidates scattered, desperately trying to avoid the glowing slips of paper.

The phoenix-masked woman, her face twisted in a mix of rage and fear, tried to dodge, but one of the talismans stuck to her shoulder.

Then another one stuck to her.

Surprisingly, each candidate was stuck with two talismans each!

"Yu Holea! What are these! Remove them right away!" The phoenix masked woman shouted.

Yu Holea chuckled as if she had heard some joke and said,

"Ah...sister phoenix, no need to worry, I have only used misfortune talisman and third eye talismans."

"What? Are you crazy! Didn’t you say that you were going to help us make a contribution? Why did you use misfortune talismans? And what is that third eye talisman?" The swan masked woman shouted.

"Not going to act anymore?" Yu Holea teased but then she changed the topic and explained,

"Misfortune talismans is just a small punishment for you all. And the Third Eye talisman will open your third eye, you will now be able to see ghosts and evil spirits."

Just as she finished speaking, one of the candidates shouted,

"Ghost!"

The candidates froze in terror, their eyes darting around the room as the air grew heavy with a chilling presence.

The third eye talismans had taken effect immediately, and the once invisible spirits now manifested before their widened eyes.

"Yu Holea, you can’t do this!" the phoenix-masked woman screamed, her voice trembling. "You’ll regret it!"

Yu Holea’s smile remained, calm and unyielding.

"Regret? No, sister phoenix. I believe it is you who will learn the meaning of regret."

As the ghostly figures began to converge on the candidates, their icy fingers reaching out, the panic in the room intensified.

The swan-masked woman backed away, her composure shattered, while the cat-masked woman clung to a nearby pillar, her eyes wild with fear.

"Please, Yu Holea, have mercy!" another candidate pleaded, falling to her knees. "We’ll do whatever you want!"

"Really?" Yu Holea asked as if she was truly moved.

"Really!" The candidate with the pigeon masked woman replied.

"Then cure my fiance. Wake him up from his coma right away." Yu Holea smiled as she listed her condition.

The candidate’s face turned pale and she said,

"Impossible! His soul is corroded, even if I try to heal him, I will still require 5 years to wake him up, till then should watch these ghosts dance in front of me?"

Yu Holea’s smile turned cold. "Then it seems you have a lot of work to do, don’t you?"

She stepped closer to the pigeon-masked candidate,

"Five years may seem like an eternity to you, but to me, it’s nothing compared to the eternity my fiancé has spent in darkness.

You will find a way to save him, or you will be haunted by these spirits for the rest of your life."

The pigeon-masked candidate opened her mouth to protest, but a ghostly wail silenced her.

The spirits, sensing the fear and desperation, grew bolder, their forms becoming more defined and menacing.

The candidates huddled together, their once confident facades crumbling under the weight of their terror.

The phoenix-masked woman, struggling to maintain her balance, glared at Yu Holea through her terror.

"You think you can scare us with these tricks? We’ll—"

A ghostly wail interrupted her, a specter appearing right beside her, its hollow eyes locking onto her soul.

The phoenix-masked woman screamed, a sound of pure terror, as the spirit reached for her.

"This... this isn’t real," she whispered, backing away. "It can’t be real."

"It is very real," Yu Holea said softly.

"These spirits have been bound here, waiting for someone to acknowledge their existence. Now, they see you. Now, they know you."

"You wanted power," Yu Holea continued, her voice steady.

"You wanted control. Now, you have it. Control over the unseen, over the unknown. Use it wisely, or it will consume you."

The cat-masked woman, her face pale and sweat-drenched, finally found her voice.

"How do we... how do we stop this?"

"You exorcise them," Yu Holea replied simply.

"Each and every one of them. Ten thousand ghosts. Only then will you be free of the talismans’ effects."

The swan-masked woman, now trembling uncontrollably, looked at Yu Holea with pleading eyes,

"Yu Holea! Please! Even though we cultivate virtue, we don’t have any power to exorcise them! Only through mystic energy could you exorcise them!"

Yu Holea’s smile widened, but it lacked warmth.

"Then it appears you have a difficult journey ahead. Perhaps you should have considered the consequences before challenging me."

The phoenix-masked woman, eyes wild with fear, attempted to regain control of the situation.

"You think this will break us? We will find a way to counter your tricks and—"

Yu Holea raised a hand, and the phoenix-masked woman’s voice was abruptly cut off by the appearance of another spirit, this one even more menacing than the last.

The specter loomed over her, its presence suffocating, and she fell silent, her bravado evaporating.

"Listen carefully," Yu Holea said, her voice carrying a cold authority.

"You have one path to redemption: exorcise these spirits or save my fiancé. If you succeed, you will be free. If you fail, you will live with these ghosts haunting your every step."

The room was silent except for the soft whimpers and terrified breaths of the candidates.

The phoenix-masked woman, her earlier arrogance replaced by a desperate fear, turned to Yu Holea, her voice trembling.
