Just when the candidates were becoming restless, a golden light suddenly surrounded the hall of the Grand Mansion.

The phoenix-masked woman who had just entered the grand mansion along with her knight suddenly turned pale.

The golden light shimmered, casting an ethereal glow across the room. It signified that one of the awakeners had passed the test and ascended to become a candidate.

The candidates gasped collectively, their faces paling as they recognized the meaning of the white light.

She had never seen any white light during the emergence of golden light.

"The white light... it means the heavens acknowledge the awakener as a candidate," murmured the swan-masked woman, her voice barely above a whisper.

Her expression mirrored the shock and awe reflected in the eyes of her fellow candidates.

"What? Heavens acknowledgment?" The cat-masked woman was stunned.

Among the candidates, none had ever received acknowledgment from the heavens. It was a rare and extraordinary feat.

As the grand mansion filled with the awe-inspiring light, the candidates exchanged bewildered glances, their minds racing with questions and speculation.

Who could have possibly achieved such a feat? Whose destiny had been deemed worthy by the heavens themselves?

"Hey, is it perhaps that Yu woman?" One of the candidates asked in a weak voice.

"What nonsense. With the amount of resentment she has in her heart, she would never be able to trust the goddess again, let alone awaken any power!" Another replied.

"So is it some dark horse?" The first one asked.

The phoenix-masked woman was a bit regretful. She was so concerned about Yu Holea that she overlooked every other awakener.

The dark horse not only was able to awaken her powers but was also able to achieve the acknowledgment of the heavens.

This means, Yu Holea was just a distraction. The real awakener was hidden by the goddess from the beginning!

The candidates were stunned into silence.

"Impossible!" The phoenix masked woman and swan masked woman said at the same time.

Both of them looked at each other and only had one thought in their mind.

As the new candidate, you will have to personally serve us tea and respectfully bow to us, before lining up in the other candidate’s line to reach in this grand mansion."

The phoenix-masked woman’s words brought all of the other candidates from their daze and one by one they started to express their disapproval.

"Yeah! We are your senior. Even if you receive the acknowledgment of heavens, it doesn’t mean we will accept you."

"You need to please us and only then we will consider whether to let you line up or not."

Yu Holea, however, remained unfazed.

She understood the unspoken rules of hierarchy among the candidates, but her singular focus was on uncovering the truth behind the attempts on her fiancé’s life.

Yu Hoela finally shifted her gaze to the phoenix-masked woman. However she didn’t argue or comply, she just simply stared at the phoenix-masked woman.

The phoenix-masked woman was even more dissatisfied,

"I am talking to you! Come and greet us, serve us tea, and then for your rude behavior apologize to all of us..."

However, before she could finish her words, Yu Holea calmly interrupted her and said,

"Hold up."

Subconsciously all the candidates present hold up their breath.

A small smile appeared on Yu Hole’s face she waved her hand,

Her finger was pointed toward phoenix masked woman.

The other candidates let out the breath they were holding subconsciously.

When they realized what they had done, all of them felt ashamed.

How could they hear a girl’s words who is still wet behind her ears?

The phoenix-masked woman too realized her mistake and changed the topic,

"I see that you are a rebellious kind of person. Then its better if you live the rest of your life in a secluded corner, you will never be able to awaken a superpower."

"Is it you?" Yu Holea asked a completely different question.

The phoenix-masked woman however understood Yu Holea’s question. Yu Holea meant whether she( phoenix masked woman) was the one behind her fiance’s accident or not.

The phoenix-masked woman panicked in her heart, but she didn’t show it on her face and instead said harshly,

"You truly deserve to be punished. Swan go and bring a feather duster."

The swan-masked woman was instantly delighted.

One of the reasons why everyone fears Sister Phoenix is because of her authority.

The phoenix-masked woman was the first awakener, hence she was granted a special right. She could educate all the candidates however she likes.
