Qiao Jun leaned and bit her nape.

Yu Holea’s mind was spinning, a mix of emotions and sensations overwhelming her. She felt both anger and a strange, undeniable pull towards Qiao Jun.

The intensity of his actions left her breathless and confused.

"Jun," she tried to speak, but her voice was muffled by his hand.

Qiao Jun’s lips brushed against her ear, his voice a low, dangerous whisper,

"Next time you mention that word, see what I will do Lea. For now, be a good girl and accept your punishment."

Yu Holea’s heart skipped a beat and her breathing fastened.

The room seemed to fade around them, the music and the other guests becoming distant background noises.

Qiao Jun’s grip tightened, his presence consuming her senses. His lips trailed down her neck, leaving a trail of heat in their wake.

Yu Holea’s body reacted involuntarily, shivering under his touch.

This torture continued for the next 4 minutes.

Meanwhile, the guests were busy gossiping about the light that had suddenly gone out, hence they didn’t know that the birthday girl was currently having her birthday bombs in a very unusual manner.

The Qiao family was busy dealing with the light issues and they too didn’t know that their poor Lea was getting punished.

"Jun, please," Yu Holea managed to say when he finally uncovered her mouth.

"I didn’t mean it. I was just...I don’t know what I was thinking."

Qiao Jun kissed Yu Holea’s forehead and just when she thought that the matter was over, she heard Qiao Jun say,

"Let’s wait till you grow up. Once you turn 20, then I will punish you properly."

Yu Holea wanted to cry but no tears came out of her eyes.

She lowered her voice and pleaded for herself,

"I am sorry, please don’t be angry."

However Qiao Jun chuckled gently and said,

"Baby, don’t apologize so easily. I like it when you act arrogant."

During the entire dance, Yu Holea didn’t dare to utter a single word. She knew that her earlier words had provoked Qiao Jun so much that he most likely would explode if she uttered another word.

After seeing Qiao Jun’s evil side, Yu Holea was determined to not provoke her boyfriend.

Qiao Jun like a good boyfriend acted as if nothing had happened and danced elegantly with her.

After the dance was over, Qiao Li started the gifting ceremony.

As midnight approached, Yu Holea made her way to the rooftop, her heart pounding with excitement.

The night air was cool against her skin as she climbed the stairs to the rooftop, her anticipation growing with each step.
