Before leaving the young man didn’t forget to look at Yu Holea and said softly,

"Let’s continue what we have left in the morning."

Now Yu Holea confirmed that the other party was Qiao Jun.

Yu Holea felt her cheeks heating.

Yu Holea’s heart skipped a beat as she heard the number being called out.

She watched intently as the masked guests looked at their own numbers to see who would be her first dance partner.

The room buzzed with anticipation.

A figure in a black suit and a striking black-and-golden masquerade mask stepped forward. He moved with a confident grace that immediately caught everyone’s attention.

Yu Holea’s eyes widened slightly as she recognized the mask and the confident demeanor. It was Qiao Jun.

He approached her, a warm smile hidden behind his mask, and extended his hand.

"May I have this dance, Miss Yu?" he asked, his voice gentle and familiar.

Yu Holea felt a blush creep up her cheeks as she placed her hand in his.

"Of course," she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

The music began to play, a soft and enchanting waltz that filled the room with its melodious charm.

Qiao Jun led Yu Holea to the center of the dance floor, his movements fluid and assured.

As he snaked his arms around Yu Holea’s waist, he sighed and said in a voice that could be only heard by Yu Holea,

"My wife’s waist is so thin.’

Yu Holea felt her cheeks turning red.

She gritted her teeth and said,

"Behave."

Qiao Jun paused for a minute second before chuckling in a dark voice,

"Lea you are truly bold. First, you ran away in the morning, during the entire day you ignored me and my message and now you are asking me to behave? You are so heartless!"

Yu Hoela glared at Qiao Jun and said,

"It is all your fault!"

Qiao Jun could only nod his head helplessly,

"Yes, it was my fault!"

Yu Holea rolled her eyes and continued to say,

"Next time don’t you dare such a thing!"

Qiao Jun paused and said softly,

"Darling Lea aren’t you being too harsh on me?"

Yu Holea lectured him as she said,

"Nope! It was my mistake actually! I shouldn’t have..."

Before Yu Holea could continue, Qiao Jun interrupted her and said,

"Lea, you like me, right? So why can’t we do it?"

Qiao Jun only wanted to tease Yu Holea. Earlier whenever he would ask this question Yu Holea’s entire face would turn red.

Later, she warned Qiao Jun that if he continued to tease her like that, she would take revenge on him.

However, Qiao Jun who wanted to see Yu Holea’s cheeks go red, didn’t remember it.

Yu Holea on the other hand was angry and decided to teach him a lesson she shook her head,

Qiao Jun was shocked.

Yu Holea was delighted when she saw Qiao Jun’s shocked expression and continued in a serious tone,

Qiao Jun chuckled, however, his pleasant laughter lacked the usual mirth.
