Chapter 412: Exorcism
Chapter 412: Chapter 412: Exorcism
"I would have continued to ignore you. But when your actions put innocent lives in danger, I cannot turn a blind eye," Yu Holea said coldly, her voice cutting through the tension in the room.
"Your selfishness and greed have caused irreparable harm to your family and to others."
Mrs. Pan’s face contorted with a mixture of fear, shame, and defiance as she listened to Yu Holea’s words.
She knew that she had made grave mistakes, but she wasn’t ready to face the consequences.
"I... I did what I had to do to protect my family," Mrs. Pan protested weakly, her voice trembling with desperation.
"I never meant for anyone to get hurt."
Yu Holea’s expression remained impassive as she regarded Mrs. Pan with disdain.
"Your actions speak louder than your words," she said icily. "You betrayed your own daughter and endangered everyone in this mansion for your own selfish desires."
Yu Holea could swear that after her mother, the person she detested the most was Mrs. Pan.
As she turned to leave, Mrs. Pan suddenly begged,
"Please! Please don’t tell anything to my husband."
Yu Holea wanted to laugh.
Mrs. Pan was quite a character.
Till now the tears she shed weren’t because she felt guilty.
No.
It was because she was afraid of facing the consequences of her actions, particularly from her husband.
It wasn’t remorse that drove her tears, but rather fear of being exposed and punished.
Yu Holea’s expression softened slightly as she looked back at Mrs. Pan, her gaze filled with a mixture of pity and disdain.
"Your husband deserves to know the truth," she said firmly. "He has a right to know the kind of person he’s married to."
Mrs. Pan’s eyes widened in horror at Yu Holea’s words, realizing that her carefully constructed facade was about to crumble before her husband’s eyes.
"No, please," she pleaded desperately, her voice cracking with emotion.
"I’ll do anything, just please don’t tell him. Do you want money? I will give you the money! 100 million! Just keep your mouth shut!"
But Yu Holea remained unmoved by Mrs. Pan’s pleas.
"I cannot protect you from the consequences of your actions," she said sternly. "You brought this upon yourself."
Mrs. Pan suddenly looked at Yu Holea with hate in her eyes and said,
"Why are you interfering in my family’s business? Just stay out of it!"
Yu Holea chuckled,
"I was going to. But I took pity on Pan Rou. She doesn’t deserve a mother like you."
Before Mrs. Pan could say anything, Yu Holea left the room.
Just as Yu Holea exited the room, and Pan Rou was about to ask what was happening with her mother, they heard a loud crying sound.
Pan Rou was delighted,
"Thank you Master Yu for waking up my mother!"
And before Yu Holea could say anything, Pan Rou went into her mother’s room.
Yu Holea felt sympathy for Pan Rou and for a moment she saw her reflection in Pan Rou.
As she stood outside the room, Yu Holea took a moment to collect her thoughts.
She knew that Mrs. Pan would likely try to deflect blame onto her, but she was prepared to face whatever accusations came her way.
Sure enough, as Pan Rou entered the room, Mrs. Pan’s cries turned accusatory.
"You!" Mrs. Pan exclaimed, her voice trembling with anger and desperation. "You’re the one behind all of this, aren’t you? You’re trying to tear my family apart!"
"Mom, what are you saying? Master Yu protected us!" Pan Rou tried to calm her mother but Mrs. Pan pushed Pan Rou away and looked at Yu Holea with hatred,
"Rou you don’t know. The reason why your Uncle was able to enter the mansion even though there was a barrier was because of this girl!
Wasn’t she the one who created a barrier? She even assured you that no one can enter the barrier but your Uncle was able to. This could only mean that she is the one who is behind everything! She is the one helping your Uncle!"
"Mom, that’s not true!" Pan Rou protested, her voice trembling with disbelief.
"Master Yu has been trying to help us. She’s the one who woke you up just now!"
Though she said that Pan Rou couldn’t help but find Mrs. Pan’s words logical.
Yeah. Yu Holea told them that they would be protected as long as they stayed in the mansion but...
Also, the mystery of how her Uncle was entered was still not solved.
"Don’t be fooled, Pan Rou!" Mrs. Pan cried, her voice filled with bitterness.
"She’s manipulating you! She’s the one who’s been causing all this trouble!"
Yu Holea chuckled,
"Are you even hearing your words? What would I get from harming her?"
Pan Rou saw how calm Yu Holea and her doubts suddenly vanished.
Yeah! Why would Master Yu harm them?
Mrs. Pan glared at Yu Holea,
"Rourou, she wants to kidnap you through your Uncle and demand a ransom from your father!"
"Okay, now it is getting ridiculous." Yu Holea said with a bored expression.
Pan Rou only looked at her mother with disbelief. She wasn’t able to understand why her mother was behaving in such a manner.
"By the way Mrs. Pan I am curious as to how you know that I have created a barrier here?" Yu Holea asked with a smile.
Mrs. Pan’s face turned pale.
Pan Rou was surprised too.
Yes!
When Yu Holea had made a barrier, her mother was not present so how does know about it?
Mrs. Pan stuttered, her mind racing to come up with an explanation.
"I... I overheard you talking about it with Pan Rou earlier," she lied, her voice shaky.
Yu Holea raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced by Mrs. Pan’s excuse,
"Oh? But I have only come to Pan Mansion once, and that was too when you left after only talking with Pan Rou for 20 minutes."
Mrs. Pan gritted her teeth but she had nothing to say. Pan Rou too felt that something was wrong.
Just as Mrs. Pan was about to argue, Yu Holea played a recording after saying,
"You forced me."
The recording was of the conversation between Yu Holea and Mrs. Pan that had happened a few minutes before.
The more Pan Rou listened the more heartbroken she was.
Mrs. Pan tried to shout loudly to interrupt the recording but Yu Holea directly used her mystic energy to freeze her.
Once the recording was over, Yu Holea sent the recording to Pan Rou and said,
"I will leave for now and come tomorrow to exorcise the ghost tomorrow. Take care."
Then she left the mansion with Qiao Jun.
Once she stepped out of the mansion, Yu Holea almost fainted.
Qiao Jun hurriedly held and said with worry in his heart,
"Lea don’t move. Where is the teleportation talisman? Give it to me."
Yu Holea weakly passed the talismans to Qiao Jun.
..........
The next day.
Yu Holea had recovered mostly due to the spring water.
And once it was night, she went to the Pan Mansion.
Today she was about to exorcise the ghost and for that, she needed Miao Chong.
Miao Chong, Si Xun, Pan Rou, and Qi Zhong were present in the living room.
Si Xun and Miao Chong were surprised by yesterday’s events but didn’t comment considering the topic’s sensitivity.
Pan Rou was looking much better.
At 9 pm, Yu Holea started to prepare for the ritual and once she was ready, she motioned for Pan Rou, Mia Chong, Si Xun, and Qi Zhong to sit inside a circle.
Yu Holea passed them a talisman,
"Hold it properly."
As the group settled into the circle, Yu Holea began chanting ancient incantations, her voice resonating with power and authority.
The air in the room seemed to shift, charged with mystical energy.
Miao Chong watched in awe as Yu Holea performed the ritual, her movements precise and deliberate.
She could feel the energy swirling around them, enveloping them in a protective barrier.
Suddenly, a chill filled the air, and the room seemed to grow darker as two spectral figures materialized before them.
One ghost, a woman with sorrowful eyes and tattered clothes, hovered near the corner of the room, her presence exuding an aura of sadness and longing.
The other ghost, a menacing figure with an ethereal glow, glared at Yu Holea with hostility and malice.
Once they appeared Yu Holea stopped her incantations and started flicking exorcism talismans.
The talismans glowed with a bright, otherworldly light as they made contact with the spectral entities, causing them to recoil in agony.
With a final, resolute chant, Yu Holea unleashed a burst of energy, casting a powerful spell that engulfed the ghosts in a blinding light.
The spirits wailed in agony as they were consumed by the mystical force, their forms dissipating into the ether.
As the light faded, the room fell silent once more, the oppressive presence of the ghosts vanishing into the night.
