Pan Rou breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders as the danger passed.

Miao Chong was still in disbelief as she asked,

"Did the...ghost...will they...stop haunting us."

Qi Zhong and Pan Rou too looked at Yu Holea with hope in their eyes.

Yu Holea placed a finger on her lips asking them to be quiet.

Suddenly they heard soft muttering,

"B*tch. They should be damned! Damned! B*tches! They will die! They deserve to die!"

Miao Chong, Pan Rou, and Qi Zhong shivered with fright.

Yu Holea looked in Miao Chong’s direction and Miao Chong stiffened.

She thought that maybe she was possessed even without her knowing.

In a trembling voice, she asked,

"Master Yu...I..."

Yu Holea softly asked,

"Do you trust me?"

Miao Chong nodded instantly. Even though her head was feeling dizzy she trusted Yu Holea.

After all, the previous time when she felt that maybe she will die, it was Yu Holea who saved her.

"So don’t look behind."

Qi Zhong and Pan Rou who were filled with curiosity looked behind Miao Chong and almost had a mini heart attack.

Behind Miao Chong was a mirror. In the mirror, Miao Chong’s back was visible.

In the mirror, multiple eyes were sticking out of Miao Chong’s hair.

Qi Zhong and Pan Rou trembled and they hurriedly shifted their gaze away.

Don’t look and everything will be fine. They said to themselves.

Yu Holea took out an exorcism talisman and flicked it in Miao Chong’s direction.

Before the exorcism talisman could reach Miao Chong, the eyes that were staring out of Miao Chong’s head, suddenly closed and hid.

The exorcism talisman landed on Miao Chong’s head and suddenly Miao Chong felt her hair being pulled.

The force was so intense that for a moment Miao Chong felt as if she would fall back.

However before she could fall, Yu Holea held her hands.

Plop.

Plop.

Plop.

Qi Zhong and Pan Rou were disgusted and horrified by the scene they were seeing.

They could see how one by one eyes popped out of her head, each one falling to the ground with a sickening plop.

Then by an unknown force, they started getting pulled into the mirror.

What surprised Qi Zhong and Pan Rou was how the eyes vanished inside the mirror.

Miao Chong could sense the horrified gazes of Qi Zhong and Pan Rou, but she trusted Yu Holea to handle the situation.

As the eyes were pulled into the mirror, Miao Chong felt a strange sensation coursing through her.

It was as if a dark energy that had been clinging to her was being drawn away, absorbed by the mirror’s eerie surface.

Once the last of the eyes had disappeared into the mirror, Miao Chong felt a sense of relief wash over her.

The weight that had been pressing down on her lifted, leaving her feeling lighter and more at ease.

With a gentle smile, Yu Holea turned to Miao Chong and said, "It’s over now. You’re safe."

Miao Chong, Qi Zhong, and Pan Rou cheered.

Yu Holea saw their happiness and itched to tell them that the real danger had not yet passed.

However considering how cowardly they were, Yu Holea pursed her lips and said to Si Xun,

"Now it’s your turn."

Si Xun was stunned and asked,

"Me? No need! I am fine!"

Yu Holea shook her head and charged toward Si Xun.

Si Xun showed a confused expression and just when Yu Holea made a blue ball of mystic energy fear appeared in Si Xun’s eyes.

Suddenly Si Xun jumped out of the circle.

Qi Zhong, Pan Rou, and Miao Chong were worried and reminded her,

"Xun what are you doing? Don’t run away from Master Yu."

"Yes, Xun! And come back into the circle!" Pan Rou worriedly uttered.

"Xun please trust Master Yu, she won’t harm you!" Miao Chong said.

However Si Xun had an alert expression as she said,

"No! No! She is going to harm me!"

"I am not. Just come back in the circle." Yu Holea coaxed.

"No!" Si Xun shook her head.

"Xun what are you doing? Please! Please come back!" Qi Zhong tried to coax her.

Si Xun looked at Yu Holea with a guarded expression and said,

"No! you don’t understand. She! She wants to harm me! She is evil! She is the one who is behind all the things that were happening to us!"

"Si Xun, listen to me," Yu Holea said firmly, her voice carrying a tone of authority.

"I am not here to harm you. I’m here to help you, just like I helped Miao Chong, Pan Rou, and Qi Zhong."

Si Xun’s eyes darted between Yu Holea and the others, uncertainty clouding her features.

She wanted to believe Yu Holea’s words, but the fear that had been instilled in her ran deep.

Someone was whispering near her ears.

Pan Rou reached out a hand toward Si Xun, her voice filled with concern.

"Xun, please trust us. Master Yu is our only hope to get rid of the evil spirits haunting us."

Miao Chong nodded in agreement.

"Xun, we’ve all seen what Master Yu can do. She’s powerful, but she’s also kind. She wouldn’t hurt us."

Qi Zhong stepped forward, his expression pleading.

"Please, Xun. Don’t let fear control you. Come back into the circle and let Master Yu help you."

Si Xun started walking toward the circle but suddenly she stopped.

Yu Holea gritted her teeth and waved an exorcism talisman in Si Xun’s direction.

Si Xun tried to dodge the talisman and jumped to one of the walls.

"Xun!"

"Oh my god!"

"No!!"

Pan Rou, Qi Zhong, and Miao Chong were worried that Si Xun would get hurt but the next scene almost made them faint.

Si Xun did crash into the wall, however instead of getting hit, she turned towards the wall at an unbelievable speed and started crawling towards the ceiling.

While climbing she kept on saying,

"See! See! I told you! She is a b*tch she wants to harm us!"

However, the voice in which Si Xun was speaking wasn’t hers; it was distorted, filled with malice and fear.

Yu Holea’s eyes narrowed as she watched Si Xun’s strange behavior.

This wasn’t normal; something dark was definitely at play here.

Si Xun continued to crawl along the ceiling, her movements unnatural and unsettling.

Pan Rou, Qi Zhong, and Miao Chong watched in horror, unsure of what to do. This was beyond anything they had ever experienced, and they felt powerless in the face of such darkness.

"Master Yu, what’s happening to her?" Pan Rou asked, her voice trembling with fear.

Yu Holea watched Si Xun’s movement and said,

"Miao Chong was the not only one who was possessed, Si Xun was possessed too!"

Pan Rou hesitated as she asked,

"Then the talismans..."

She wanted to ask if Su Xun was possessed too then how come she picked talisman that day?

Yu Holea answered,

"Because of the artifact she is wearing."

Before starting the ritual, Yu Holea had seen Si Xun’s dark aura and she instantly knew that Si Xun was possessed too.

"But..."

Yu Holea raised her hand and stopped them as she said,

"You might not believe me, but Si Xun was the one behind your misery."

"Huh?"

"Do you remember the person who suggested you visit that haunted house and asked you to play the Ouija board game?"

Pan Rou, Qi Zhong, and Miao Chong’s face turned pale,

"It...it was..."

"Si Xun." Yu Holea said with certainty.

"She planned everything and once everyone was plagued by the ghost, she waited for Uncle Pan Zhijin to kidnap Pan Rou."

"What? Impossible! Master Yu what are you saying doesn’t make sense at all!" Pan Rou shouted.

She was at breaking point.

Just today this morning, her father divorced her mother and now she was going to lose one of her important friends.

Why was life so cruel to her?

Yu Holea explained to her,

"Si Xun first made sure that a ghost haunted each member, then even if you get kidnapped, Mrs. Pan would cover up your death in the name that Qi Zhong killed you.

Qi Zhong would be killed by Miao Chong and Miao Chong by Si Xun."

"What?" Pan Rou, Qi Zhong, and Miao Chong felt their head spinning.

What kind of logic was this?

"And just like that all three of you will die and Si Xun will be sentenced to death." Yu Holea said.

The previous night, so many things happened but Si Xun and Miao Chong didn’t come out of their room at all.

How strange it was.

In fact, everything seemed like it was planned.

If Miao Chong and Si Xun didn’t come out of their room and Mrs. Pan and Qi Zhong were the only people present there then once Pan Rou died, Qi Zhong would be schemed against by Mrs. Pan.

In the end, Qi Zhong would have been called a murderer.
