"Your uncle?" Yu Holea’s voice was sharp with disbelief and fury. "And he dared to treat you like this?"

Pan Rou nodded, her own expression troubled. "Yes, he’s always been like this. Ever since I can remember, he’s been nothing but trouble."

Yu Holea’s fists clenched at her sides, her resolve hardening.

Pan Rou’s brows furrowed in worry as she listened to Yu Holea’s words. She reached out to gently shake her mother’s shoulder, hoping to rouse her from her slumber.

"Mom, please wake up," Pan Rou pleaded softly, her voice filled with concern.

Yu Holea placed a comforting hand on Pan Rou’s shoulder, offering her support.

"Alright don’t get worked up."

Pan Rou nodded.

Yu Holea with the help of Pan Rou dropped Mrs. Pan in her room and Yu Holea said to Pan Rou,

"You go out for a minute, I will check her."

"Alright." Pan Rou was worried about her mother but she trusted Yu Holea and hence she and Qi Zhong left the room. As for Qiao Jun, he never entered the room in the first place.

Yu Holea picked up a jar of cold water and directly dropped it on Mrs. Pan’s face.

"Ahhhh!" Mrs. Pan screamed in fright and instantly woke up.

Yu Holea looked at Mrs. Pan coldly and asked,

"Not going to pretend anymore?"

Mrs. Pan was so shocked by the sudden awakening that she stared at Yu Holea in disbelief, her eyes wide with fear.

"I... I don’t know what you’re talking about," Mrs. Pan stammered, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

Yu Holea’s expression remained stern as she studied Mrs. Pan’s reaction carefully. She could sense the woman’s unease, and it only confirmed her suspicions further.

Mrs. Pan’s eyes darted around the room nervously, her mind racing as she searched for a way to deflect Yu Holea’s accusations.

"What do you mean?"

Yu Holea crossed her hand and said,

"Do you know that I created a protective barrier around Pan Mansion? But surprisingly a person having less power than me was able to break the barrier without suffering any backlash.

The person who suffered the backlash though in the end was me. How pitiful, right? I wanted to punish the culprit behind all of this but even after thinking hard I didn’t get any answer, will you enlighten me on this topic?"

"I... I don’t know anything about breaking any barriers," Mrs. Pan stammered, her voice tinged with nervousness. "I swear, I’m just as confused as you are."

But Yu Holea wasn’t convinced by Mrs. Pan’s denial.

After all, she had seen this woman’s memory.

Before entering the Pan Mansion she thought that the opponent was a powerful person. But before she entered the Pan Mansion, she saw a strange circle drawn outside the mansion.
