Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Campfire

The campfire was set up in the center of a clearing near the grounds.

The students gathered around, bringing snacks, drinks, and musical instruments.

They were all in high spirits after the thrilling adventure week and looked forward to spending a relaxing evening together.

Yu Holea looked at the lively environment and smiled.

Qiao Li on the other hand was used to it.

"Hey, let’s play truth and dare!" One of the students suggested.

"Sure!"

Others agreed.

Yu Holea curiously asked Qiao Li,

"What is truth and dare?"

Qiao Li was a little stunned that Yu Holea doesn’t know about such a basic game but she felt that in the countryside, people might not know about such type of game and since Yu Holea has just moved here she might not know about various things.

She explained,

"Truth and Dare is a fun game where one person is asked to choose between answering a truth question honestly or performing a dare.

If they choose truth, they have to answer a question truthfully, and if they choose to dare, they have to complete a challenge or task given by someone else. It’s a great way to get to know each other better and have some fun!"

"Oh." Yu Holea understood it 50% and thought it was a great game.

Qiao Li dragged Yu Holea to play the game.

At first, Yu Holea was quite resistant, but after Qiao Li, Jiang Wei, and Han Fei jointly persuaded her, she finally relented.

The students formed a circle around the campfire, and someone volunteered to be the first "chooser."

They spun an empty bottle in the center, and whoever the bottle pointed to when it stopped would be the first to choose truth or dare.

Even though he said he can’t he just used his eyes to convey his message.

Everyone started teasing him,

"Well, that is Shi Qin, who wouldn’t like a gentle, sweet, and kind-hearted girl."

"Yeah! Not like some aloof person."

"Yes! Some people think that they are too beautiful and don’t even bother to talk with others."

Qiao Li knew that these words were directed at her.

However she wasn’t much affected, it wasn’t like she was hated but it was true that Shi Qin’s followers or admirers doesn’t like her much.

Yu Holea understood the implication of their words and frowned, she interrupted those gossipmongers,

"At least she is not b*tching like you guys."

After she said it Yu Holea smiled, she was recently watching a new drama named, ’Elite High School’

In the drama when the female lead was getting insulted by others, her best friend take a stand for her.

Among those lines, Yu Holea was impressed by this line and hence she said this line.

The entire campfire turned silent.

Those who were going to reprimand Shi Qin’s followers were stunned by Yu Holea’s remark.

Even Qiao Li was shocked.

Only Qiao Jun who was sitting on a tree at some distance sighed helplessly

Shi Qin’s followers were instantly angered and couldn’t help but say,

"Hmph! You are being too arrogant, watch your words, or else who knows what might happen to you in the future."

Yu Holea raised an eyebrow.

Was she getting threatened?

But since it was wrong of her to interfere, Yu Holea said nothing more.

However, her silence was mistaken as her getting scared by the threat.

Shi Qin’s followers couldn’t help but feel proud and smug.

To further assert their dominance, one of them continued,
