The silence that followed Yu Holea’s question was deafening.

The entire group seemed to hold its breath, waiting for someone to respond.

Shi Qin’s followers looked stunned and uncomfortable, realizing that their careless words had led them into a tricky situation.

Shi Qin herself was taken aback by Yu Holea’s question.

With a forced smile, Shi Qin tried to play it off,

"Yu Holea, don’t take everything so seriously. We were just having fun. No need to compare statuses or anything like that."

But Yu Holea wasn’t backing down.

She could sense that there was more to the story, and she wanted answers.

"Oh, so you’re saying you don’t want to compare because there’s nothing to compare, right? But your friends here were just talking about how someone is jealous of your high status."

The students around the campfire started to murmur, sensing the tension.

Qiao Li, who had been observing quietly, was now getting concerned.

She didn’t want Yu Holea to expose her background but she knew that Yu Holea was trying to take a stand for her, so she didn’t interrupt in between.

However, things were getting out of hand now...

Before things escalated further, Qiao Li stepped in, trying to defuse the situation.

"It’s alright, Yu Holea. Let’s not make a big deal out of this. It’s just a misunderstanding."

But Yu Holea, still determined, replied,

"I’m not the one making it a big deal. They were the ones targeting you indirectly, and now they are trying to brush it off like it’s nothing."

Shi Qin’s followers were getting defensive, feeling cornered. One of them retorted,

"We didn’t mention any names. How can you be so sure we were talking about Qiao Li?"

Yu Holea’s eyes glinted with a hint of mischief.

"Well, if you didn’t mention names, why are you so defensive about it now? It seems like you just confirmed it."

At this point, even Leng Su, who had been watching silently, chimed in,

"Guys, let’s not make a big deal out of this. It’s just a game, and we should be enjoying the campfire together."

Yu Holea looked at him and said word by word,

Shi Qin saw this scene and she felt sour.

Just then Jiang Wei said in a sour tone,

"Okay! okay! Miss Qiao, we understood that you heaven-defied luck by having such a wonderful friend, now could we start the game again?"

Qiao Li wiped her tears and patted Yu Holea’s back who finally stopped covering Qiao Li’s face.

"Sure, let’s continue the game."

The atmosphere had shifted, and the tension from earlier had dissipated.

"There are situation and rose. If someone chooses a situation, then we will give him or her some situation with two options, and he or she has to choose one. As for Rose, the person will be given 4 names with different roses each representing a different meaning, and he or she has to tell to which person she or he will give which rose."

Some students couldn’t help but say,

"Sounds complicated."

The person said,

"We won’t know before we try."

Then the person turned toward Yu Holea and asked,

"Truth, dare, situation, or rose."

Yu Holea was interested in Rose, so she said,

"Rose."

The person who was a girl said,

"Ok. So I will first tell you about 4 roses with their meaning. Imagine you have four roses, red, blue, white, and black. Red means love, you have to give it to the person you like. Blue means friendship, you have to give it to the person who has a deep friendship with you. White means you consider that person as your brother while black means you hate that person."

Yu Holea understood this concept and nodded.

The girl then gave out four names,

"The 4 people whom you can give this rose are, Qiao Li, Han Fei, Senior Qiao, and Senior Leng."

Suddenly the scene turned silent.
