Chapter 1959: Surrender
At this moment, all the disciples of the Blood Moon Sect stared wide-eyed, watching Connor's position. Their expressions were tense because they had heard about Connor's deeds, and they had some knowledge of his strength, which filled them with fear.
Connor seemed as though he hadn't heard the Elder's threat, continuing to move forward expressionlessly.
"Does this person not understand our language? Should we find someone who can speak the Sommer language to communicate with him?" another elder whispered upon seeing Connor approaching.
"No need," a robed elder replied with resignation. He continued, "Even if he doesn't understand the language, he should have understood the meaning of our earlier words. He's not stopping because he simply doesn't care about us."
"What should we do then?" The group exchanged glances, their faces displaying concern.
"There's no other choice; we have to take action!" the robed elder said in a low voice. He then turned to the disciples behind him and shouted, "The leader has given orders. If we can stop this person today, there will be rich rewards in the future!"
Upon hearing this, the disciples rushed towards Connor as if they had gone mad.
The elders did not stand idle and joined the fray, attempting to block him.
In an instant, countless people launched attacks against him. Various techniques and maneuvers were unleashed. Faced with this situation, an ordinary martial artist would have been overwhelmed by the terrifying assault before even having a chance to react.
However, he had faced such situations before. He displayed no fear and remained calm. He knew he was about to confront the Blood Moon Sect's leader, and the battle was about to begin. So, facing these people, he chose not to overexert himself, conserving his energy for the confrontation with the Cult Leader.
Connor created a golden shield around himself, capable of deflecting all attacks. After all, the people he faced were of much lower cultivation levels, even the elders were only at the early-stage of Celestial Ancient Martial Master. Combined with his incredible speed, they had no way of surrounding him.
He moved like lightning through the crowd, but he didn't choose to engage the ordinary disciples. Dealing with them one by one would take too much time, and using his energy to deal with them was unnecessary.
He knew that once he defeated the Blood Moon Sect's elders, the disciples would naturally give up their assault.
He continuously weaved through the crowd, searching for his targets. Meanwhile, the Blood Moon Sect disciples were becoming increasingly panicked. His speed was simply too fast, and they couldn't even touch him. The situation was descending into chaos.
But at that moment, he finally found an elder, and he charged directly towards the elder, delivering a powerful punch to the elder's chest.
The elder didn't even realize what had happened and was sent flying.
After dealing with the first elder, he sought out his next target. One by one, the elders fell before him.
The Blood Moon Sect disciples were at a loss, unable to understand what to do as their elders were being defeated.
"What should we do? It seems like all the elders have been defeated by this person!" one disciple exclaimed in panic.
"Yes, if this continues, we might all die at his hands!" another disciple added.
"He says that if we surrender now, he will spare us!" a disciple who understood the common language shouted in trembling voice.
Upon hearing his offer, the disciples exchanged glances, not knowing what to do.
"Since you don't want to surrender, don't blame me for going on a killing spree!" Connor's voice suddenly echoed.
"Don't kill me, I surrender!" one disciple shouted, kneeling on the ground.
Others followed suit, and in an instant, all the Blood Moon Sect disciples were kneeling before him, begging for mercy.
Although these disciples feared the Blood Moon Sect's leader, they had no other choice in this situation. They could only use this method to ensure their survival.
Upon seeing the disciples give up their resistance, Connor chose not to attack them. Instead, he continued walking towards the Blood Moon Sect's headquarters.
The Blood Moon Sect disciples watched his departing figure with fear and awe in their hearts.
After a while, he finally crossed the entrance of the Blood Moon Sect's headquarters and entered.
Inside the headquarters, the strange aura became even more intense. He didn't want to waste any time and began using the Chi Observation Technique to locate the Cult Leader.
However, the Cult Leader was not a martial artist; he was a soul. Therefore, he couldn't use the Chi Observation Technique to locate him.
