Chapter 1548: Chapter 1109: What Does It Want to Do? Stage a Jailbreak?
Xisluo obediently shared the precise coordinates and the detailed origin of the White Crystal. He had no choice but to comply—the other party had followed the Soul Contact straight to his doorstep. Even if he tried to run, they could trace his pheromones and beat him again.
"Construct a Megalith Array and align it toward this specific Void coordinate. After some time, White Crystal will grow from the core, and through it, you can condense a Star God Body—or as you call it, a Minor Source Physique," Xisluo explained.
"Can you demonstrate the procedure in your Divine Realm?" Anthony asked.
"Sure, sure. My Divine Realm has been modified precisely for this process. But condensing White Crystal takes an extraordinarily long time—over a thousand years to complete. That’s why I’ve only managed to produce two Star Gods so far," Xisluo said with a wave of his hand.
The ground rumbled as a Megalith Array emerged. At its core was a transparent crystal, though it was not White Crystal. Its purity was low, and bubbles were visible inside.
Once the Megalith Array stabilized, a faint beam of light descended, enveloping the entire array like moonlight and finally focusing on the crystal at its core.
Everyone crowded around the crystal, examining it closely. The beam of light focused on the crystal, yet no discernible changes appeared.
According to Xisluo, it would take over a thousand years to form a White Crystal, so there was no way they could observe visible changes in the short term.
Ange, however, moved closer and closer, seemingly noticing something. He stretched out his hand to block the beam of light in front of the crystal repeatedly, eventually stepping directly into the beam’s path, letting it focus on his eye sockets.
Whatever he saw, Ange froze in that position, unmoving.
After a long while with no sign of movement, Anthony nudged closer to Negris and beckoned Durken over. Whispering, he asked, "What do you think this resembles?"
Negris paused, confused. "Resembles what? What resembles what?"
Anthony elaborated, "This process of projecting light from afar, then condensing White Crystal—what does it resemble?"
"You mean... someone deliberately sent this over?" Negris was stunned.
"Of course! Do you really believe someone can randomly build a Megalith Array, point it at some arbitrary Void coordinate, and have a Minor Source Physique grow automatically? Is luck that dependable?" Anthony snapped.
Durken pondered and spoke thoughtfully, "Tuxilisk’s Spatial Slingshot? Wasn’t that also inspired by some distant interference, leading him to comprehend the slingshot principle and launch himself to the anchor point?"
Durken’s comment jogged Negris’s memory. "Right, right—Tuxilisk! He even wrote a book about it, with theories like ’The World Returns to Chaos,’ ’The Void Has No End,’ and ’All Forces Shall Unite.’ Turns out, they were all correct."
"Of course they’re correct! He was influenced by the Ancient Godlight—his consciousness was projected. Clearly, the same thing is happening with Xisluo," Anthony said.
"So someone projected their consciousness onto him, instructing him to construct a Megalith Array, condense White Crystal, and create Minor Source Physiques. What’s the goal? Is something being projected over here?" Negris mused.
That explanation made sense. Conscious projection was a skill many beings possessed—the difference lay in the distance of the projection. For example, some demons could project their consciousness across planes to influence ordinary humans, prompting them to act irrationally.
This phenomenon was commonly referred to as Demonic Possession. If captured by the Church of Light, the individual would be condemned to the Fire Execution Frame.
However, cross-plane demonic consciousness projection was rare. Most cases were simply illnesses, but the Church generally didn’t care; they sent anyone behaving abnormally to the execution frame regardless.
Tuxilisk’s consciousness projection, however, covered a vast distance—from the Chaos Plane’s two polar anchor points to the Master Plane—spanning at least 180 million kilometers.
Xisluo’s projection might have traveled an even greater distance. Not only did it relay knowledge—it transmitted tangible White Crystals. More importantly, White Crystal was the core element of the Celestial Descendant Clan, linking the sender to the Celestial Descendant Clan.
"What’s up with these Celestial Descendants? They seem to be everywhere!" Negris grumbled.
After more than an hour, Ange finally stepped away from the Megalith Array. Negris impatiently asked, "How was it? Did you discover anything?"
Ange scratched his head, unable to explain. Instead, he removed the crystal from the focal point, took out hundreds of Chaos Stones, and held them suspended in his hand, applying intense pressure.
Bang, bang, bang! Under Ange’s crushing force, the Chaos Stones released streams of Chaos Power, which didn’t disperse but were instead compressed directly into the crystal.
The previously cloudy and bubbled crystal was rapidly filled with Chaos Power, transforming into a flawless, transparent entity as the bubbles vanished.
With the continued influx of Chaos Power, the transparent crystal began to turn white—first cloudy white, then pale white, then milky white, and finally a pure, translucent White Crystal.
"Hiss—White Crystal is condensed from Chaos Power?" Negris stared in shock at the transformation.
Ange nodded. "Not chaotic... power."
"You mean, though condensed from Chaos Power, its attributes are opposite? Non-chaotic Chaos Power?" Negris asked, frowning.
Ange nodded again.
"Non-chaotic Chaos Power. Doesn’t that make it Order Power? You figured this out from the light?" Negris inquired.
Ange nodded, gesturing with his hands in front of him. "Order. Pattern. Information."
"Can you identify who sent it?" Negris pressed.
"The Ancient Godlight," Ange said without hesitation, sounding resolute.
The group exchanged bewildered looks. "Wait—the Ancient Godlight exploded. Did you see Chaos Power and assume the Ancient Godlight projected it?" Negris questioned.
Ange shook his head, frustrated, scratching his scalp further before clarifying, "The Ancient Godlight’s... parent."
Everyone straightened their postures. "What do you mean? The Ancient Godlight has a parent?"
"A metaphor. Similar attributes. Stronger," Ange explained.
"Whoa! You’re using metaphors now? Impressive!" Negris’s first reaction turned into admiration—Ange successfully crafted a metaphor under sheer pressure. That was no small feat.
But the meaning was clear. Anthony exclaimed in shock, "Good heavens! A complete, even stronger version of the Ancient Godlight. The Boundless Space Hole was built to imprison the Ancient Godlight, yet this new entity uses consciousness projection to have people create vessels here. What’s its scheme—a jailbreak?"
