Chapter 1549: Chapter 1110: Phew, Finally Pulled It Back

The Ancient Godlight that Ange and the others encountered in the Chaos Plane was formed from a part of the power released during the explosion of the Primordial Divine Light. Most of the power dispersed into the Void, the Planes, the Chaos Mist, and countless Ancient Gods and beings.

From the most primordial stage, only the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms did not originate from the Primordial Divine Light, but even the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms required life nurtured by the Primordial Divine Light to grow.

The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms supports the Primordial Divine Light, the Primordial Divine Light nurtures various beings, and the life force of those beings nourishes the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms. Together, they complement and sustain each other, forming the Chaos Plane and giving rise to many Ancient Gods and subsidiary species like the Iron Scale Cleaners, Void Elves, Demons, and others.

The Time-Space Ancient Dragons, Hole Bugs, Abyssal Big Mouths, and Dark Origin also appeared during this time. However, their powers did not stem from the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms or the Primordial Divine Light but were instead birthed from the Origin Power inherent in the Void itself.

Then, a consciousness suddenly emerged within the Primordial Divine Light, triggering its explosion. Massive energy scattered, cooled, and condensed into the Chaos Mist. Additional dispersed matter formed the Planes, which gave rise to new planar life forms.

During the explosion, the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms lost a significant portion of its branches, but the damage was not fatal. After all, even if a regular tree were chopped into seventeen or eighteen segments, it could still be made into potted plants—let alone the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

From then on, the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms struggled to maintain the stability of the Chaos Plane, scattering countless seeds in an attempt to ensure each Plane could nurture life. Yet, the Chaos Plane continued to decay day by day.

It took a long time before Ange finally understood why this was happening. The Chaos Plane had lost its most crucial element: ’incremental growth.’ From the moment the Primordial Divine Light exploded, the entire Chaos Plane had, in fact, entered a process of ’everything returning to chaos.’ The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms could only prolong this process but not reverse it.

Furthermore, this might very well have been the ultimate goal—to let everything descend into chaos. Upon leaving the Chaos Plane, they discovered it was, in fact, a prison—a prison designed to confine the Primordial Divine Light: the Boundless Space Hole.

The act of throwing the Primordial Divine Light inside might very well have been to let it naturally descend into chaos and ultimately perish.

"However, there was a slight twist in this plan." Anthony, analyzing up to this point, concluded:

"The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms is the twist. Its existence formed a cycle with the Primordial Divine Light, slowing down the process. If this cycle continues, the most likely outcome is that life is nurtured in sufficient quantities, causing the Chaos Plane to generate ’incremental growth,’ and the Primordial Divine Light gaining enough power to escape the Boundless Space Hole."

"If my analysis is correct, then several questions arise. First, who placed the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms in there? Second, was the consciousness born within the Primordial Divine Light intentional or natural? Third, why was this done?"

Everyone was dumbfounded. Anthony’s analysis was both absurd and plausible, pulling their line of thinking to an entirely new level.

Negris said in frustration: "So, the twisted Ancient Godlight we encountered in the Chaos Plane was just a fragment of the Primordial Divine Light. And entities of similar levels as the Primordial Divine Light are numerous. Some are responsible for imprisoning the Primordial Divine Light, while others aim to rescue it, which is why they placed the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms inside?"

Anthony replied, "That doesn’t necessarily mean entities on the level of the Primordial Divine Light. If they were at that level, they wouldn’t need to imprison the Primordial Divine Light—they could simply destroy it outright. The most likely explanation is that they couldn’t obliterate the Primordial Divine Light, so they had no choice but to imprison it."

Negris exhaled in relief. "So, there aren’t entities at the level of the Primordial Divine Light—at most, they’re at the Ancient Godlight level, or perhaps even weaker?"

Anthony shrugged. "It’s just my speculation; I can’t guarantee its accuracy."

"Ridiculous as it may sound, it’s logical. Regardless, we need to make adequate preparations for any outcome." Negris turned to Ange and asked, "When will your true form arrive?"

Durken burst out laughing: "Pfft, Lord Nage, is this your idea of preparation?"

Negris placed her hands on her hips and replied matter-of-factly, "Nonsense. If I told you to prepare, how would you even go about it? Tell me—how would you prepare?"

Durken’s laughter froze as he realized he indeed had no viable way to prepare. Following Ange closely seemed to be the only solution. If Ange couldn’t handle it, then against such Origin-level adversaries, they would be completely powerless.

"My lord, when is your true form arriving then?" Durken asked awkwardly.

Ange shook his head. He could feel his true form drawing closer, but as for quantifying this closeness, he had no idea, as there was no frame of reference.

"Forget it. As long as it comes, if those entities aren’t at the level of the Primordial Divine Light, then once your true form arrives, you can crush them." Negris said with a dark humor.

Ange’s true form at this point had already absorbed all matter and energy from the Chaos Plane, recreated a Dimensional World, and generated incremental growth. Though it might not yet be at the level of the Primordial Divine Light, it shouldn’t be far off.

If Anthony’s speculation was correct and those entities imprisoned the Primordial Divine Light because they couldn’t destroy it, it would imply that they similarly couldn’t eliminate Ange’s true form.

"Then." Anthony pointed at the beam of light in the center of the Megalith Array and asked, "This entity reflected by the consciousness, would it be something stronger than an Ancient Godlight but still nowhere near the level of the Primordial Divine Light, correct, my lord?"

Ange nodded profusely. Was this what Anthony was leading up to all along with his elaborate buildup? What a relief—this way, Ange only needed to nod or shake his head.

Anthony secretly let out a sigh of relief, finally bringing the discussion back on track. Ange hadn’t realized just how terrifying it sounded when he said "the father of the Ancient Godlight." That was a figure capable of rendering them utterly helpless and despairing.

But if it was merely something slightly stronger than the Ancient Godlight, the collective mentality would be completely different. After all, they had already managed to defeat an Ancient Godlight before, and Ange wasn’t the same as he had been back then. If his true form encountered another enemy akin to the Ancient Godlight, he’d likely crush them effortlessly.

"Can you infer what it’s planning by creating these Minor Source Physiques through consciousness reflection?" Anthony asked.

Ange thought for a moment, then placed the White Crystal he had pressed earlier back into the focal point and said, "Wait."

No one knew how long the wait would be. Anthony glanced at Xisluo and asked, "What should we do with him?"

Xisluo’s heart tightened, and he instinctively braced himself. But in the next moment, Ange transformed into the Dragon God, leaped in front of him, and reached out to grab him.

Xisluo felt the world slow down to an excruciatingly sluggish pace. His movements felt agonizingly slow, and while Ange’s hand moved slowly as well, it was still slightly faster than Xisluo’s. It extended toward his abdomen.

Xisluo could only watch helplessly as Ange’s hand virtualized, penetrated his abdomen, and extracted a White Crystal. However, before the White Crystal was fully removed, Xisluo already blacked out.

When he regained consciousness, Xisluo found himself in a vast, boundless space, facing a giant yellow dragon curiously lowering its head to inspect him. From somewhere unknown, an enormous hand reached into the space and grabbed another human nearby.

Upon seeing the figure, Xisluo was utterly stunned: "Ursman?"

The giant hand abruptly froze, and the yellow dragon exclaimed in surprise: "You know him?"
