Chapter 1532: Chapter 1093: Pinhole Origin Force Imaging Mirror

Durken had an impulse to kneel before Ange and shout ’King!’—this was the King beloved by all alchemists.

As the King of Alchemy, one of the Four Great Subtemples within the Resting Camp, Durken found Ange yet never brought up the matter of returning under the King’s banner.

Unlike Locke and the Witch, whose loyalty to Your Majesty was unwavering, Negris was merely a pet, while Durken feigned ignorance as if nothing had ever happened.

Though Durken tried to console himself with ’A Crown Prince is still a King,’ deep down he knew the real reason: Ange would continuously explode with materials!!!

Following Ange meant never running out of rare materials. Forget about ordinary goods like Fine Gold Mithril—have you ever seen Saye Meat that manifests through sheer will?

Durken used Saye Meat to develop wearable armor eggs capable of growing. These eggs could generate armor shapes based on one’s imagination.

Once, a female elf added a tail to her design, using it to support her body, grasp items, or act as a strap, effectively serving as an additional hand. The only downside was the tail grew at the front—not exactly elegant.

This kind of magical armor egg would have been impossible to create without Saye Meat, even if Durken racked his brain till it exploded.

As for five hundred-meter-thick iron scales, plane-sized snail shells, cultivated Blank God Statues, endlessly replenished Dark Origin, Chaos Mist... materials Durken had never even heard of—how could an alchemist like him, eager to scrape Black Crystal powder from Your Majesty’s bones, possibly resist?

With each breakthrough Ange achieved, the rarer and more advanced materials he obtained increased exponentially. Anything could be experimented upon, and the variety of materials in this new world was even more abundant.

Unlike the Chaos Plane, where abundance in nature was present but in limited quantities, this new world boasted ’quantities’ on an entirely different scale.

The Chaos Plane was akin to an oasis in a desert—everything might exist, but never in great abundance. Here, however, energy overflowed. A single Divine Light Alliance encompassed dozens of Prime Material Planes, over a hundred inhabited Abyss Dimensions, and Origin Power flowed exceedingly generously. Even ordinary people carried traces of Origin Power.

It was like having water in a desert where each person only received a small sip, too scared to gulp down even when thirsty. Here, it was akin to a floodplain of mighty rivers—water so plentiful that you could drink freely and even bathe in it.

The abundance of energy also fostered the creation of unheard-of new ’materials.’ Items like Minor Origin Fragments capable of twisting space, extremely invasive Sources of Water, and Sources of Crystal that could evolve a White Dragon into a Crystal Dragon—truly an endless array that dazzled the eyes.

Durken now found immense joy and intense frustration at the same time: there was not enough time, yet too many materials. Each new creation from Ange offered countless ways to explore and develop, but there simply wasn’t enough time.

Because before long, Ange would have made another new material.

This incessant innovation was precisely why, despite having no time, Durken refused to stop following Ange everywhere. He feared that if he left, Ange might craft new materials that the other reckless companions failed to recognize, resulting in him missing a golden opportunity forever.

And this wasn’t just about new materials—Ange often invented new methods. In alchemy, techniques were as crucial as materials. The performance of an inferior material could be remedied by alchemical methods such as enchantments and embedding.

Through Ange, Durken witnessed Origin-level alchemical techniques—Swallowing Enhancement and Primordial Crystal Plating.

Primordial Crystal Plating wasn’t worth mentioning since he’d seen it countless times before. Whenever Ange performed plating, Durken would bring his own items needing plating to take advantage.

Chaos Stones, when detonated, sprayed in all directions. Ange often didn’t have enough items to fill the spatial voids, resulting in much material being wasted. That’s where Durken came in, having enough alchemical objects to occupy the empty space.

What was worth highlighting, however, was Swallowing Enhancement: a particularly complicated enhancement technique. It wasn’t merely about wielding the Power of Devour—double the Power of Devour wouldn’t suffice, nor tenfold. Only millions of times the Power of Devour, sufficient to devour light itself, could make Swallowing Enhancement meaningful.

Technically, tens of thousands of times were usable, but Ange, being the master of the Abyssal Big Mouth, considered anything less than the ability to devour light unworthy. Lesser methods lost their appeal since they couldn’t even surpass his subordinates.

However, as Ange was not in his true form, achieving light-devouring levels was challenging, and thus Swallowing Enhancement had not been attempted—until now. By harnessing the powers of Little Ghost and Kram, it was achieved with ease.

From Ange’s effortless maneuvering, it was clear that the enhancement was simple. He utilized Little Ghost and Kram, two Plane-level pivots, pulling on each as a sort of lever principle that required minimal energy to achieve the swallowing effect.

Moreover, Ange controlled it with remarkable precision, concentrating the swallowing effect into a small range and keeping the duration brief, finishing before surrounding objects could react.

Unexpectedly, when the Source of Water was subjected to the Power of Devour’s pressure, it solidified. The invasive nature of liquid Source of Water had always stumped Durken, as he struggled to find practical applications for it—it couldn’t always be handed off to Ange for healing purposes.

Now that the Source of Water had solidified, the properties of a solid allowed for greater stability than a liquid, better plasticity, and countless new usages waiting to be developed.

Thinking about such Plane Consciousness-level new materials awaiting his experimentation and development, Durken felt joyful enough to want to kneel and cling to Ange’s leg.

"My lord, could you spare me some?" Durken steadied his emotions and raised his hand in request, showing the same meekness Feiti did when asking for materials.

Ange tossed the entire sphere to him, then continued refining enhancements.

Some alchemists, upon acquiring a pressure machine, would end up having nothing but the machine and piles of scraps at home. Ange was no exception—he pressed everything to see if the properties changed.

He had a patient demeanor, once farming for a thousand years. If the teleportation portal hadn’t opened, he might still be farming inside the Temple of Rest.

"There he goes again, finding something amusing." Nagri turned to glance at Anthony, who was busy hoodwinking Gulalata, then at the silver coin equally occupied. With an exasperated shrug, he prepared to search for some entertainment himself, only to be stopped by Durken.

"Lord Nage, could you assist me for a moment? I need to locate some Origin Power and verify whether I’m mistaken," Durken said while putting on a single-framed silver circular lens.

The center of the circular lens had a pinhole, surrounded by multiple layers of engraved magic patterns.

"What have you done? Did you flatten the Source of Water sphere into thin sheets to make a single-framed lens?" Nagri asked.

"Yes, I call it the Pinhole Origin Force Imaging Mirror. It utilizes the pinhole imaging principle to observe Origin Power. Since you’ve been infected by the Source of Water, you can now see Origin Power—help me confirm whether that area has concentrated Dark Elements, right?" Durken said, shielding his eye with the lens and peering through the pinhole, then pointing out a spot.

Nagri followed Durken’s direction, and indeed, the area appeared significantly rich in Dark Elements.

"Huh, you can really see it? Does this mean you can all perceive Origin Power from now on?"
