Chapter 1467: Chapter 1028: The Sect Goes Bankrupt, Can We Buy the Naming Rights?
"Pah, create a few more? I used to think about riding several female dragons. Just wishful thinking."
As Negris grumbled resentfully to himself, Ange was constantly moving his arm. As long as the Little Ghost held onto his arm, his hand could pierce through space and appear within the boundaries of the Holy Kingdom.
The plaza of the Holy Kingdom had already been turned upside down by him. The four corners were occupied by four Void War Majestic Trees, which had been strengthened by the Little Sapling, and the center was planted with various special crops.
Including, but not limited to, Divine Wood, God Flowers, Elf Beans—god-level crops—as well as Fire Dragon Fruits and exploding fruits—magical plants. The Origin of Chaos that Ange had obtained was completely used here to cultivate all the crop seeds he’d ever known.
Of course, there were also origin-level Chaos Trees and Trees of the Dead, though their scale was small, purely kept for seed preservation.
Ange took out a Fire Dragon Fruit, crushed it, collected and screened the seeds, then germinated them before calling over the Little Flame.
The Little Flame floated over angrily, having been subdued by the joint efforts of the Little Ghost and the Little Sapling. Yet it yielded to no one else except those two.
In its opinion, Ange was nothing more than a hanger for the Little Ghost and a flowerpot base for the Little Sapling, and now he dared to boss it around? It angrily floated over, ready to spit fire.
The Little Ghost immediately jumped up and smacked it on the head: "Ouch—!"
The Little Sapling raised a tree whip and lashed it: "Yah—Yah—!"
The Little Flame cradled its head, looking left and right, unwillingly muttering: "Hmph—Yah—!"
Ange handed the tray of Fire Dragon Fruit seedlings to it and pointed to the ground, hardened by lava: "Plant."
The Little Flame tilted its head cluelessly.
Ange demonstrated on the spot. He flicked his finger, and the ground melted, forming a bubble. When the bubble hardened and its thin shell was knocked off, it became a small, semi-spherical pit.
With precise control, it was even possible to let the bubble burst spontaneously and harden at that exact moment, creating a more natural pit.
Ange could do this, but the Little Flame was much more adept at tasks like this. Besides, if it didn’t know how to plant crops, what use did it serve?
The Little Flame was furious, furious, furious—it swelled up in indignation. This time, however, the Little Ghost and Little Sapling didn’t beat it up; they simply stared at it silently, just like Ange.
One had to admit that life forms have an innate sensitivity to danger. The Little Flame, though initially steaming with anger, suddenly deflated like a balloon, unwillingly floating over to grab the tray of seedlings.
It placed the tray on the ground, then began hopping around, lifting its tiny "feet." Wherever it landed, the ground melted, bubbled, broke, hardened, and formed a circular pit.
As it hopped along, a row of gradually cooling pits appeared behind it.
After running a full lap, the first pit had already cooled. Only then did the Little Flame pick up the tray and toss the seedlings into the pits one by one.
It finished tossing them quickly and came back to Ange, forcefully pointing at the now empty tray.
Ange nodded in satisfaction and handed it another tray of seedlings. He threw the rest directly, evenly distributing them to suitable spots, before tapping the Little Sapling.
The Little Sapling waved its True Leaf, and the seedlings in the tray immediately started moving on their own. They stepped out of the tray, shook off the dirt clinging to their roots, then used one of their leaves to scoop up the earth and hugged it tightly. With roots twisted into tiny legs, they scuttled to their respective pits, filled them with dirt, and planted themselves firmly—taking root!
The entire process left everyone a bit bewildered. Negris asked in shock, "What’s going on? An initiation test? Ange wants to see if it can plant things? If it can’t, he’s ditching it?"
"What? Ditching it? Isn’t it the Plane Consciousness?" The Goddess of Dawn asked incredulously. "Plane Consciousness, and he doesn’t want it?"
Negris scoffed, "Plane Consciousness is nothing; even the Void Origin got rejected. Back in the day, the Ancient Godlight was even considering surrendering."
The Goddess of Dawn, clearly unfamiliar with what Void Origin was, looked blank-faced.
Anthony analyzed, "This is definitely a test. This Little Flame is quite smart. It knows how to optimize the steps. It knows to dig the pits first and even considers that tree seedlings can’t withstand high temperatures. If it had copied how Lord Ange dug pits and immediately planted seedlings, the roots would have been scorched. Lord Ange dispersed the heat first."
The Goddess of Dawn retorted indignantly, "What are you talking about? It’s Plane Consciousness, obviously it’s much smarter than you humans."
"It’s smart enough but just too weak. Are all Plane Consciousnesses this weak?" Negris said dismissively.
"What nonsense! Didn’t you people beat it up into this state? You beat it and now don’t want to admit it?" The Goddess of Dawn snapped back.
As the argument raged on, Ange stepped down firmly, and the Fire Dragon Fruit trees grew wildly, quickly bearing clusters of Fire Dragon Fruits brimming with fire elements.
After harvesting one crop, Ange deactivated the Instant Death Halo, leaving the Fire Dragon Fruits to grow naturally. The abundance of fire elements here made attempting to drain it utterly unrealistic.
Besides, growing so many Fire Dragon Fruits was useless. Fruits that enhanced fire elemental affinity were only useful to Fire Wizards. The Fire Dragon Fruit trees’ greatest utility here was consuming the fire elements to prevent them from turning back into lava.
With a stable foundation established, a teleportation point could now be constructed on top of it, allowing future direct transportation to this location.
Having settled everything, everyone gathered together as Ange activated the Teleportation Array, transporting them to Giant Crystal Village.
It was Faradi’s first time seeing her Master God’s true form, yet the familiar visage and aura immediately told her it was the Goddess of Dawn.
The arrival of the Master God—divine descent—startled Faradi, who screamed as she dashed over, excitedly grabbing the Goddess of Dawn’s hand, "My Lord has descended! Have you gotten married yet?"
Everyone quietly left, leaving the Goddess of Dawn to deal with her fervent disciple.
Back on the airship, Anthony suddenly remarked, "It’d be great if Lisa were here too."
Negris echoed the sentiment, "Yeah, she and Faradi would be a perfect match. Get married and have kids right away, no break in between. Ange, can you summon Lisa here as well?"
Ange shook his head, then nodded again.
"Not now? But later?" Negris translated.
Ange nodded.
Just as everyone thought they were finally going to relax, Ange suddenly heard Silver Coin calling for him: "Master, I have some questions I’d like to ask Lord Anthony—uh, and also Lord Nage."
Ange nodded and pulled them into the Consciousness Space.
"Silver Coin? Weren’t you off spreading faith in the Court of Rio? Did you encounter some difficulties?" Negris asked in surprise.
In terms of independence, Silver Coin was even ahead of Anthony, capable of handling many matters alone—not like Anthony, who often called for help.
Settling in, Silver Coin quickly said, "Yes, Lord Anthony, I have something I’d like to ask you. There’s a religious sect that’s already economically bankrupt, but they still have many believers. Can I purchase it, rebrand it, and make it my own sect?"
