Fishing Livestream
Chapter 88 - 88 88 Mysterious Fish Situation

88: Chapter 88: Mysterious Fish Situation 88: Chapter 88: Mysterious Fish Situation “Huh?

Are there any bros watching the stream?

If you’re watching, pop up a comment?” Yue Feng asked, feeling a bit nervous.

With just one line, the whole live stream room immediately came to life.

“Is the host secretly starting the stream and having fun?”

“Wow!

An early morning stream, what’s the host thinking?”

“This scenery is simply amazing, feels like there’s nothing you can’t do between heaven and earth!”

“This is still the reservoir area, right?

Is the host shooting a skit or what?

I don’t quite understand”

People had been speaking in the channel earlier, but the host ignored them.

Now that Yue Feng responded, it seemed he had finished what he was busy with, and the response in the public channel was quite enthusiastic.

“Good morning, everyone.

I went to bed early last night, woke up early this morning, tried out the fishing which isn’t great, just casually took some shots, I’ll edit a skit for you all to enjoy later!” Yue Feng briefly explained.

“Are skits made like this?

Those flying up and down shots just made my eyes dizzy!”

“From previous skits, you can tell the host must have studied camera language, looking forward to it…”

“Good eye, guys above.

I’ve had this feeling very long ago, those editing techniques are clearly professional level!

Didn’t expect the shooting to be so imaginative, what a talent!”

Seeing so many “discerning” praises, Yue Feng only felt somewhat uneasy.

He was just randomly shooting according to his feelings, and now all the interpretations by the fans in the live room were too much.

Was this what they call overly passionate fans?

“Alright, alright, time’s limited, so I’m going to end the stream for now.

If the fishing gets better during the day, I’ll stream for you all again, goodbye!”

Yue Feng couldn’t bear the overwhelming praises any longer, hastily said his goodbyes, and ended the stream in a flurry.

After turning off the live stream, Yue Feng had a thought and selected the smart editing function.

High-tech is just awesome, others desperately struggle with editing, but for Yue Feng, it was a matter of a mere thought, a blink of an eye.

After the editing was complete, Yue Feng chose to preview it first to see what his random shots looked like after being edited.

Only a few seconds into the preview playback, Yue Feng couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow!!”

No wonder he was astonished; the editing effect was phenomenal.

Completely different from Yue Feng’s aimless flying controlling the drone, the video organized a very clear timeline and change in locations.

In the video, from the tiny dewdrops on a blade of grass to the rising fiery sun, their locations and the timeline were perfectly adjusted,

from the dark early light barely brightening to full daylight, an overhead view of the reservoir, close-up low altitude shots, the mystical mist over the water that made it look like a fairyland, even the water birds that swam by looked vibrantly alive.

The beautifully scenic reservoir, coupled with a fleeting glimpse of fishing gear on the shore and a miniature view of the fisherman’s camp, evoked a strong desire to visit.

Even those who don’t like fishing would be tempted to experience such stunning views.

“Is this seriously what I shot?

Damn, it’s just incredible!”

Yue Feng, unable to contain his excitement, previewed the entire clip and felt two words in his heart, awesome!

The clip needed to be reviewed before being uploaded.

Normally, video clips of this length took a while to review, but Yue Feng didn’t worry about it.

Once he confirmed everything was correct, he uploaded it under a slightly artistic and generic title.

Heavenly Realm, Exploring Cliff Dam Reservoir

On the Seafood Live platform, the vast majority of users prefer quick and short clips.

Those with memes, wild ideas, singing, dancing, looks, and figures—all straightforward and clear.

But they generally didn’t show much response to more artistic content.

Although Yue Feng felt quite amazing about his spontaneous idea during the preview, that was about it—he didn’t hold much expectation for it.

Even though his previous clips had gained quite a number of followers, they never really went viral.

This time, Yue Feng didn’t think too much about it either.

“What are you grinning about so early in the morning?” Just then, a voice greeted him from behind.

Yue Feng turned his head and glanced over, “Ah, nothing.

I just got up early, shot some clips, just messing around!”

“Got any bites?”

Yue Feng shook his head, “I cast the rod for a while at five, no bites, not even a nibble from the carp!”

“That shouldn’t be, last night before we rested, Qiangzi and I baited up several spots.

This reservoir has some tricky fish!”

“I can’t say for sure, but definitely no bites!”

“Alright, stop hanging around here.

I’ll call those lazy bones up, it’s time for breakfast!”

“Breakfast?

What are we having?

I can help out!”

“No need to fuss, brought eggs and green onions and such, let’s just make some noodles.

Simple and convenient!”

Having a teammate like the gourmet Liu Fengnian, Yue Feng felt completely at ease about their meals.

He went from tent to tent calling the others, while Liu Fengnian’s side was already wafting the smell of noodles being ready.

A simple bowl of green onion noodles, each person’s bowl cradling two eggs—they ate as if they wanted to swallow their tongues along with it.

After having breakfast, Yue Feng and the others quickly headed back to their fishing spots.

Until eight in the morning, there were hardly any bites, and it wasn’t until the mist on the water had completely cleared that they slowly started to see some activity.

The fish behavior in Cliff Dam reservoir was weird—during the no-bite periods, not a single fish popped up along the nearly hundreds-meter-long battleground.

But as soon as one person started catching fish, it would quickly go from sparse to a slow bursting, then quickly escalating.

Around ten in the morning, the five got a small rush of continuous carp bites.

The long rods had no action, but it was as if the carp went crazy, biting regardless of bait.

How many fish they caught totally depended on how fast they handled their rods!

However, the peak fishing didn’t last long, at most forty minutes.

One second the bites were continuous, the next second, completely silent.

Yue Feng was busy switching to a 3.3-meter Fly Kicking rod, ready to start the livestream, but then the fish activity also passed, creating confusion.

“Liu bro, this fish behavior is way too freaky, damn, what the hell is this!”

“Exactly, the fish eat like the PLA soldiers, absolutely disciplined!”

Yue Feng scratched his head, a bit miffed.

He put the Fly Kicking rod away again, “Good thing I hadn’t started the livestream, or this could have really messed things up!”

Liu Fengnian, well-versed and experienced, had some preparedness regarding the reservoir’s weird fish behavior that was hard for ordinary people to understand: “The fish here are a bit different from those in purely wild waters.

Although the reservoir is large, it is a stagnant body of water, so things like dissolved oxygen do have some effect!

Another reason, I guess, relates to the feeding machines previously used in the reservoir!

The fish have formed certain habits, and gather in specific locations at certain times!”
