Chapter 1377: Chapter 1377: This Man, Sometimes Very Annoying

At around seven or eight, Jasmine Yale squatted on the beach picking up seashells.

Sylvan Cheney answered a phone call.

"Mr. Cheney." It was Charles Mcintosh, "Where are you?"

"At the beach."

Charles Mcintosh frowned, the beach? So early in the morning?

But he knew that Jasmine Yale had returned, so Sylvan at the beach wasn’t something unusual.

"Mr. Cheney, I heard Joan Harry is missing."

"When did this happen?"

"The evening you were discharged from the hospital," Charles Mcintosh lowered his voice.

That day?

Sylvan thought back carefully; that night, Jasmine Yale had texted Joan Harry to come to the hotel.

Did Joan Harry come, or did she not? If she did come, how could she just disappear without any reason?

"The Harry Family is looking for Miss Joan, Mr. Cheney. Keep an eye out, Yacob Harry might head to the Cheney Residence."

"Understood." Sylvan nodded, "Did you send someone to look for her?"

"Little Lilac has gone to look."

"Mm, let me know if there’s any news." Sylvan always trusted in Lilac Serval’s ability to handle things.

At this moment, Jasmine Yale raised her head and called out to Sylvan, "Honey! Come over here, what is this?"

Because the beach was quite open, Jasmine Yale’s voice naturally carried over into Sylvan’s phone.

Charles Mcintosh paused for a moment.

Then fittingly said, "Mr. Cheney, I’ll hang up first."

Charles Mcintosh suddenly recalled a phrase, ’beauty brings disaster.’

Yet, Sylvan retained Jasmine Yale, choosing to ignore the chaos.

The Cheney Family was in a critical moment, and yet Sylvan had the leisure to spend time with a woman on the beach.

The sea breeze blew through Jasmine Yale’s long hair, and her scarf had come undone at some point; her little face was red from the cold.

Even so, she still happily played on the beach.

Sylvan strode towards her, threw away the object in her hands, and frowned, "How many times have I said this? Hmm? Wear your gloves, tie your scarf properly."

Jasmine Yale glared at him unwillingly, "How can I play with gloves on?"

Sylvan reached out to adjust her scarf properly, covering half of her face and then pulled out gloves from her coat pocket to put them on her.

"Jasmine Yale, you really are a handful. I’ve told you, if you catch a cold this time, don’t expect me to take you out again."

"What if I don’t catch a cold? If I don’t, can I expect to go out, right?"

Jasmine Yale looked up at him with her big, shiny black eyes.

"When did you learn to bargain with me? You’re asking for trouble getting sick."

"It’s not like I haven’t had a cold before, you’re so annoying, I don’t need your care, okay?"

But despite her words, she couldn’t resist Sylvan.

In a short while, she was wrapped up snugly again.

Jasmine Yale felt that this man could sometimes be very annoying.

Sylvan glanced at his watch, "Let’s go home after playing a bit more."

"I don’t want to go back, there’s nothing fun at home, let’s go watch a movie or have a hot spring bath."

"We can watch movies at home, and we can take a hot spring bath at home as well."

"..." Jasmine had no response.

The morning wind carried a salty scent, waves crashed wildly, and the sound of crashing waves mingled intermittently with the calls of seagulls.

Jasmine Yale kicked at the seashells under her feet, "Look, aren’t the seashells I picked up beautiful?"

Various large and small, differently shaped seashells were lined up in a strange pattern on the ground.

Sylvan slightly puckered his brows, he had only been away for a while and she had already picked up so many; no wonder her hands were freezing.

"Isn’t it beautiful?" Jasmine felt that this man was very slow in responding, slightly discontented.

"Mm."
