Chapter 1378: Chapter 1378: I Know You Like Me a Lot

Jasmine Yale’s little thoughts could never be hidden from Sylvan Cheney.

The seashells on the ground spelled out their names: "Nián Qī," with a big heart in between.

Sylvan Cheney looked down at the sandy beach for a long time.

The sunlight fell, and the shells shimmered with a silvery gloss, like little mirrors.

Sylvan Cheney shook his head helplessly, impressed at how quickly Jasmine had collected so many shells.

"Do you like it?" Jasmine looked at Sylvan expectantly, like a student seeking praise.

"Jasmine Yale, you are really childish." Sylvan watched her, a smile curving upward at the corners of his lips, and rubbed her face gently with his large hand, "You are grown up, yet you act like a teenager."

Suddenly, Jasmine stepped forward, hugged his waist tightly, and held on: "I have always been the same."

Whether it’s herself or her heart, she had never changed.

If only she had changed, at least she wouldn’t have to worry about him alone.

At least, she wouldn’t be bothered by his every frown and smile.

She tiptoed, pulled down her scarf, and kissed his lips.

His lips were cold, and so were hers.

But, in the nibbling and friction, their lips gradually warmed.

A cold breeze blew, and she was utterly unaware, as if, in the world, only she and Sylvan Cheney existed.

There were no conflicts, no scheming, just the two of them.

It was too cold here; Sylvan tried to pull her away several times, but Jasmine refused, clinging to his lips.

But, Sylvan fell for this trick of hers.

She kissed him proactively, and he couldn’t resist.

As they continued kissing, Sylvan picked her up horizontally and walked towards the car from the shore.

A high wave surged, splashing water on the sandy beach.

Jasmine’s shells were washed away by the sea, and the beach... returned to its original smoothness.

Sylvan put her in the passenger seat, closed the door, and the inside of the car was warm.

Jasmine breathed unevenly, her heart fluctuating.

"Sit well, I’ll take you home." Sylvan fastened her seatbelt.

"Don’t..." Jasmine clung to his neck, her eyes filled with ambiguous desire, "Let me hold you a little longer."

"Let’s go. Hmm?"

Her long eyelashes carried a hint of mist, and beneath her eyes were white frothy waves: "Do I have you all to myself today?"

"Only if you behave."

"Am I not obedient enough? I have been very obedient. You said not to stay by the sea, so I didn’t stay. Whatever you say, I agreed." For example, using protection.

She really did listen to everything he said.

As long as he doesn’t leave her alone.

"Do you like me a lot?" Sylvan looked into her eyes and asked.

His figure, along with his handsome face, was reflected in her small pupils, her eyes holding only him.

"Haven’t I made it obvious enough?" Jasmine lifted herself and pecked his lips again.

"Alright, I know you like me a lot." Sylvan ruffled her hair, "Sit tight."

Saying this, he closed the passenger door and walked over to the driver’s seat.

He started the car and took her home.

Jasmine muttered, "It’s not just ’a lot’, it’s ’very much’."

Her muttering was heard by Sylvan, and he curled the corners of his lips.

Jasmine reluctantly watched the coast, her gaze lingering on the increasingly distant seawater.

She could stop thinking about anything and anyone, but she couldn’t stop thinking about him.

She truly had no ambition left in this life, loving someone to such an extent, loving to the point where she could give up everything, but not him.
