Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 1376: Forming a Complete Heart

Chapter 1376: Chapter 1376: Forming a Complete Heart

Upon reaching the seaside, the sun was bursting through the clouds, splendid and resplendent.

Jasmine Yale watched ahead, forgetting to even blink, utterly captivated.

The sea churned with waves, the shimmering water like a mirror, reflecting the morning sun.

The scenery was boundlessly magnificent, the sea breeze lifting Jasmine’s cloak as she nestled into his arms for shelter from the wind.

Sylvan Cheney stood straight and tall at the shore, his outline handsome, an existence all his own.

"Do you want to come down and have a look?" Sylvan asked.

"Mm-hmm," Jasmine nodded her head.

Sylvan set her down, fingers interlocking with hers, fearing she might wander off.

Leaning on his shoulder, Jasmine stood side by side with him, waiting for the sunrise.

The morning sun gradually rose above the sea level, bit by bit, starting with just peeking out to half a sphere until it hung full and round in the sky.

The sea wind blew, whisking Jasmine’s long hair.

She jumped with joy: "The sun has risen!"

Sunlight shone on her clean, little face, making her even more beautiful and pretty.

Sylvan squinted slightly towards the vast horizon, his features profound and deep.

The ocean, the sun, the seagulls.

Simple colors and objects composed a beautiful tapestry.

Sylvan wasn’t much interested in the sunrise; he lowered his head to look at Jasmine beside him.

Jasmine held onto his hand with one of hers, and from her pocket, she took out the other, gesturing half a heart towards the sunrise.

"Extend your hand too," Jasmine instructed him.

Sylvan: "..."

"Hurry up, hurry," Jasmine urged, fidgeting with her fingers, "like this."

Sylvan had no choice but to comply.

His large hand mimicked her pose.

Under the morning sun, their hands formed a perfect heart together.

Jasmine laughed, revealing a row of pearly white teeth, with sweetness hidden within her tiny dimples.

It was a while before Jasmine allowed him to lower his hand.

Sylvan really didn’t know she could be so happy, laughing like a child.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.

Jasmine lay against his chest, watching the sunrise, chatting with him.

"I like it when you go along with me," Jasmine said, "You should always go along with me, okay? Otherwise, I’ll get angry."

"Let you run amok?"

"I can’t really turn the sky over."

"I don’t agree."

"What kind of person are you?" Jasmine pouted unhappily.

Sunlight illuminated her face, making her features even more tender.

As the sun hung in the sky, the sea shimmered with a splendid luster.

"Are you cold?" Sylvan asked her.

"Not cold, the weather is nice today, you should play with me by the sea a little longer."

"I’ve never seen anyone wanting to go to the beach in winter."

"Then when summer comes, will you bring me here?" Jasmine blinked, longingly looking at him.

"It depends on my mood."

"Annoying," Jasmine scolded playfully.

As the sun rose, the temperature around began to climb, becoming comfortably warm.

Jasmine Yale took each step on the sandy beach, along the shoreline.

The winter beach was deserted, with no one there but them.

Such tranquility, on the contrary, felt liberating.

Jasmine walked ahead, with Sylvan following behind.

The waves periodically reached the shore, leaving behind their moist trails.

Jasmine’s red cloak was exceptionally bright; she was like a spritely elf, hopping and skipping.

She longed to return in the summer, when she could hold Sylvan’s hand on one side and Chale Cheney’s on the other.

Yet, she felt it was a lavish hope.
