Chapter 1267: Chapter 1267: Can’t Forget in Three Lifetimes

Jasmine Yale took him for dumplings, and they sat in a breakfast cafe in Chinatown. Those dumplings were authentic Landon flavor.

Perhaps it was the steam or tears, but her eyes became misty.

Memories kept popping into her mind.

Sometimes, she almost mistook the little guy in front of her for his father.

Some obsessions were carved deep like knife marks, perhaps unforgettable even in a lifetime.

After breakfast, she strolled down the streets hand in hand with the little one.

She bought Little Chale candied hawthorn and cotton candy, just like someone once bought for her.

It wasn’t until the afternoon that Chale Cheney was willing to take her to that "beautiful place."

"Little Chale, where is that place? Are we walking there?" Jasmine Yale was curious.

"Walking would be tiring, let’s take a car."

"Okay."

Chale Cheney knew Lonton very well, and with a good memory, he led the way.

The cab twisted and turned, quickly reaching a rather secluded estate.

The estate wasn’t standalone; there were several large and small estates in the area, seemingly belonging to different families.

After getting out, Chale Cheney stopped her at the largest estate.

The scenery here was beautiful, with hills, fields, and trees... picturesquely idyllic, like a painting.

Jasmine Yale stood still, gazing intently at everything before her.

It was beautiful.

Though it was winter, it didn’t detract from the beauty here; the stream bubbled and the spring tinkled.

Taking a deep breath, the air was filled with a scent of freshness.

"Jasy, I’ll lead you." Chale Cheney took her hand.

There were two servants at the entrance of the estate; the largest looked desolate, as if it had been unoccupied for a long time.

From the iron gate, she could see glimpses of the interior.

The house design was beautiful, the garden was filled with plants, many of them were unique plants native to the US.

The servants at the door seemed shocked to see visitors after a long time, eyes brightening at the sight of Chale Cheney!

"Young Master?"

"Uncle Fand, Uncle Kendall, Happy New Year," Chale Cheney called out politiely, his actions resembling those of a young gentleman.

"Young Master, is it really you? Why have you come? Alone? And who is this..."

"This is my Jasy." Chale Cheney introduced.

Jasmine Yale suddenly realized, this was where Chale Cheney had grown up?

This was the place where Sylvan Cheney and Chale Cheney had stayed together for those three years?

No wonder, it was truly beautiful.

Sylvan Cheney, a man of elegant style, loved beauty and finesse. It wasn’t surprising that he had such an estate in Lonton.

"Young Master, since you and Mr. Cheney left, you haven’t come back. Happy New Year."

"Dad is back in the US."

"I see, Young Master, come in, it’s cold outside. The estate is well maintained, though there are few of us left, just your Uncle Kendall and me, plus two maids who clean the estate, but they went back for the New Year celebrations today."

"Okay."

Chale Cheney took Jasmine Yale’s hand: "Jasy, let’s go inside. It’s cold out here; you might catch a cold."

Jasmine Yale nodded and let the little guy lead her.

So, this was where Chale Cheney had grown up.

This place was different in style from the Cheney Residence, but both places were incomparably beautiful.

"Jasy, look, that swing, Dad made it for me."

"Jasy, look, that tree, I planted it on my birthday."

"That little nest, Riceball loves it the most!"

"Here are the steps, you can enter the house from here."
