Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 1266: Born in Lonton

Chapter 1266: Chapter 1266: Born in Lonton

Jasmine Yale took a while to finish washing up, thinking that Chale Cheney had long finished his call. She stood at the bathroom door, drying her hands and called out, "Chale, come wash your face."

Her voice was neither loud nor soft, but loud enough for Chale Cheney and the person on the phone to hear.

Instantly, silence fell on both ends.

Chale Cheney, knowing Elder Cheney was perceptive, quickly covered up, "Dad, the nanny is calling me, I’ll hang up first."

With that, he promptly ended the call.

He wasn’t sure if Elder Cheney had heard Jasy’s voice, and if he had, he probably wouldn’t guess it was Jasy!

Jasmine Yale was stunned — was he still on the phone???

Suddenly, it was as if glue stuck her feet to the floor, unable to move.

Chale Cheney jumped out of bed.

Jasmine Yale felt a flicker of unease, thinking that Sylvan shouldn’t have heard her voice.

After a moment of unease, she went back to the bedroom to pick out clothes.

She had bought new clothes for Chale a few days earlier, and had bought a few for herself as well.

Chale had insisted on buying matching outfits, so she reluctantly agreed.

The matching outfits were khaki and very lively; the outfits even included hats, and wearing them made her feel years younger.

As for Chale’s clothes, they were identical to hers except smaller.

Sitting by the window, Jasmine Yale applied light makeup; sunlight streamed through the window and added a lovely glow to her features.

Today wasn’t too cold, it was perfect weather for an outing.

Jasmine was unfamiliar with Lonton, as it was her first time in the city.

Yet, the city’s name evoked many memories in her mind.

For instance, she knew Sylvan often traveled here for business when she was a child.

After freshening up, Chaley peered around and bounced around the bedroom.

He was overjoyed to be wearing the same outfit as Jasmine Yale.

"Jasy, let’s go eat dumplings."

"Okay."

"Jasy, you look very pretty today, your lipstick is like a peach."

Jasmine Yale laughed, shaking her lipstick, "Do you want me to apply some on you?"

Chale Cheney covered his face, "No, only girls wear it."

Jasmine Yale laughed even harder.

After finishing her makeup, she ruffled the little guy’s hair, patiently fastening his buttons and putting on his shoes.

Head to toe in new clothes, Chale Cheney looked particularly happy.

This outfit was both fashionable and beautiful, and Chale loved it very much.

"Little Chale looks very handsome today," Jasmine Yale complimented him.

"Handsome Chaley goes well with beautiful Jasy," Chale seized the opportunity to confess, "Okay?"

"Okay."

"Jasy, you can’t be so casual."

"Huh?" Jasmine Yale was confused, looking down at him.

"You have to think for a while, and then answer me earnestly."

Jasmine Yale laughed and pinched his cheek, "Let’s go, down the stairs."

"Uh."

Jasmine being unfamiliar with the city, could only rely on a map to take Chale shopping.

Luckily, Chale knew the area well and had a good memory.

The streets were bustling with people.

"Jasy, I’ll take you to a place later, a very pretty place," Chale earnestly held her hand and walked down the street.

"What place? Is it far from here?"

"Not far, I won’t tell you yet."

"Little guy, you seem very familiar with this place."

"I grew up here."

Jasmine suddenly realized how she could have forgotten that.

Chale had been born in Lonton and was only brought back to Landon when he was three.

Of course, he was familiar with Lonton.
