"Laxus! Gajeel!"

Upon seeing the newcomers, a look of surprise appeared on Natsu’s face.

"How did you guys get here?!"

"Of course, we can’t let you play the hero alone," Gajeel sneered, clenching his fist.

"I have some scores to settle with the Demon God’s Soul, and it’s not just you!"

"I called them over, Natsu!" Happy, who had arrived shortly after, said to Natsu.

"Natsu, are you okay?"

"I’m fine, and great job this time, Happy!" Natsu smiled.

"Enough chit-chat," Laxus said coldly, his expression stern.

The yellow lightning crackling around him glowed brightly.

"It seems the enemy has run out of patience and doesn’t want to wait for us anymore."

"Are you done talking?"

Lance looked coldly at the three and the cat.

Even the sudden appearance of Laxus and Gajeel only mildly surprised him, without causing him to lose his composure.

Gajeel, who had never seen Lance before, furrowed his brows and asked, "By the way, who is this guy... which throne is he from?"

"The First Throne, I think his name is Lance," Natsu answered.

A look of surprise appeared on Gajeel’s face.

"The First Throne, meaning he’s the strongest, huh? This just got interesting."

"Here he comes!" Laxus suddenly spoke up.

Boom, Lance lightly stepped on the ground, causing the entire surface to crack.

Several large rocks, accompanied by a whistling wind, were hurled toward Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus.

"[Fire Dragon’s Crushed Fang]!"

"[Iron Dragon Sword!]"

"[Thunder Dragon’s Crushing Fist]."

Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus each used their respective moves to smash the incoming rocks.

As the rocks shattered, Lance had already appeared mere inches away from Gajeel.

One hand reached toward Gajeel’s face.

Gajeel’s pupils contracted slightly, and instinctively, he raised his Iron Dragon Sword to strike at Lance.

"Gajeel, don’t touch him! Get some distance!" Natsu shouted anxiously upon seeing this.

Hearing Natsu’s words, Gajeel didn’t hesitate for a second.

He blocked the incoming attack with his Iron Dragon Sword and quickly jumped back.

Boom, Lance’s hand grazed the Iron Dragon Sword slightly, and the entire sword shattered.

Gajeel’s face contorted in pain.

Just as Lance was about to continue his pursuit, a bolt of lightning and a burst of flames came from both sides.

Although Lance quickly tore through the attacks, he lost the chance to continue his pursuit.

"Are you okay?" Natsu rushed to Gajeel’s side and asked.

"Yeah, my right hand is injured, but it won’t affect my combat ability for now."

Gajeel glanced at his right arm, which was bleeding heavily, then asked, "But what’s up with that guy? Just a touch from his hand, and my Iron Dragon Sword shattered completely. It even injured my arm inside."

"I don’t even know what kind of magic he’s using," Natsu shook his head, a troubled expression on his face.

"You’re right," Natsu said, flames erupting from his body as he spoke coldly.

"There’s no use thinking like this. We’ll only know what this guy is about after we beat him. Happy, you go back first, leave this to us."

"Got it, I’ll gather everyone," Happy nodded, flapping his wings and flying off toward the distance.

Lance didn’t stop Happy from leaving, nor did he even spare him a glance.

Or rather, he didn’t seem to consider the reinforcements Happy might summon as any threat.

"If you want to run, now’s your best chance," Lance said, looking at the three of them with a quiet voice.

"You have no chance of winning."

"Something like that..."

Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus moved simultaneously, charging toward Lance.

"How would you know if you don’t try?!"

"[Iron Dragon’s Roar]!" Gajeel leaned back, spitting out a torrent of wind mixed with iron shards, charging toward Lance.

Lance waved his hand, his slender palm slicing through Gajeel’s roar as if it were a blade.

The moment the roar was split, Natsu, his body engulfed in gold-red flames, appeared abruptly.

"Hm?" Lance raised an eyebrow slightly.

Natsu raised his fist, surrounded by gold-red flames, and growled, "[Fire Dragon God’s Iron Fist]."

Boom!

The gold-red flames scattered, turning everything around them into ash.

Natsu’s body was blasted backward again, but this time, he wasn’t injured, while Lance’s steps shifted back slightly.

"It’s not over yet!" A cold voice came from behind Lance—Laxus.

"[Thunder Emperor Dragon’s Jaw]!"

Boom!

Laxus’s fists gathered blue-yellow lightning, and the immense power struck out.

The timing was perfect—just as Lance was recovering from Natsu’s attack, Laxus’s strike hit him before he could even turn around.

The force of the lightning engulfed him, causing a powerful explosion.

"Did we succeed?!" Gajeel asked, looking at the center of the explosion surrounded by blue-yellow lightning.

Laxus shook his head with a grim expression.

"No, this guy isn’t the kind of opponent who’s easy to deal with. Not to mention defeating him, even injuring him is still uncertain."

"Even with an attack like that?"

Whoosh!

The flames from the explosion were violently torn apart, and Lance reappeared before the three of them, completely unharmed.

"Impressive," Lance said.

"You’ve managed to make me feel a bit of pressure. I suppose even if you surrounded Garlos, he would be quite troubled."

"Truly... he’s much more of a monster than I imagined," Laxus clenched his fists, cold sweat trickling down his forehead, but his face showed no sign of fear.

Lance raised his arm, his purple pupils shimmering with a faint light.

"Then, let me get a little more serious and deal with you all. [Suppression]."

The air suddenly froze in that instant.

A powerful sense of oppression descended upon Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus, as though millions of pounds of weight had suddenly been added to their bodies.

Caught off guard, all three of them abruptly fell to their knees, overwhelmed by the sudden increase in gravity.

"This is... the gravity magic he used back at Tenrou Island?"

As they looked at Lance, both Natsu and Laxus simultaneously thought this in their minds.
