Chapter 383: The Abrupt Visit

"I got it wet! It’s wet!"

Viviana shouted while helping Leander up.

While he was waterproofing the letter, she jumped straight from the cave into the water. She couldn’t stop her tears and only after getting out the water did, she have a look at the ring.

It was bigger than the previous ring and had a floral design. He added some yellow jewels in between giving a slight tint of yellow glimmer to the ring. Only as she finished admiring the ring did she realize that she got the ring wet in seawater.

Leander shook his head with a smile.

"Is it okay? Will the salt damage the~"

Before she finished, he pulled her into his embrace and kissed her. "Shut up, woman," he whispered in her ears. "And kiss me more."

Viviana wrapped her arms around his shoulder and melted in his kisses. "No, stop!" she clutched his shoulder as his fingers reached her thigh. "Let’s go home first..."

They didn’t even have a blanket and she did not have the guts to do it on the sand while both of them were wet. That would be a disaster waiting to happen.

"We are not picking up Ziya tonight. Inform your family," he said gritting his teeth.

Viviana held back her smile. He was trying hard to control his desire and looked cute. She didn’t think Ziya would disturb their night but she let him have his wish.

She called Leonardo first. But then she realized that she might want to inform her father of her engagement first. So she called him. Her father was happy to hear it. He told her that Leander asked for his blessing with the ring. Viviana was touched as he tried to follow traditions.

Then her father asked her something that made her feel bad. He asked her if she would use the Vitale surname until her wedding. Viviana felt bad for her stupidity. Her father shouldn’t be asking her this. She should have done it herself after Leander returned with another name.

Her father accepted her into the family and that was the least she could have done to make him happy. She didn’t know why she didn’t think about it.

She could have done it at least after the premiere where she introduced Leon Michaels as her boyfriend. It wouldn’t look good from the public’s perspective to have her "dead" husband’s name behind her while she was dating "another" man.

She immediately called her social media manager to change her name on all her social media profiles and also on her company page.

She thought Leander would have something to say about it but he said nothing while she was talking.

"You don’t mind it, right?" she asked.

"It’s the right thing to do. And it’s just for a couple of months. After that, you will be Minerva Michaels," he said.

"Two months?" Viviana raised her voice as she was shocked. "We are getting married in two months?"

"How much more time do you need?" Leander asked. "We could marry in a week if you are ready~"

"I am saying two months is not enough! How will a week be~"

Leander placed his finger on her lips to stop her. "That’s why, silly. I’m giving you two months. Do your planning accordingly. I cannot wait for long."

Viviana pouted. She has already finished with the design of her wedding gown. Now they will have to procure the materials and do the stitching. What other arrangements are there? She can ask her father for the guest list along with Leo’s list. Her list is not very long. Even if she makes an estimate, they will have more than five hundred guests.

That’s a lot!

The food and stay arrangements for the guests, the decorations, and the venue arrangement...More importantly...

"Let’s get married in the Church, Leo," Viviana said looking at the St. Michael’s Church on the hill.

"Why? The wedding Father Flannagan officiated is not enough now?" he asked. He furrowed his brows and she didn’t know what he was thinking. He didn’t look happy that she changed her mind about it.

Viviana playfully hit his arm. "I thought you wanted to have the wedding there. Why are you looking like..." She took in a deep breath. "Leo," she held his cheek. "I don’t care who you were when you were little. I fell for the man who went against his grandfather’s wishes and protected me and showed me that life was worth living for. I am glad you were Leona, but it doesn’t affect the love I have for you in any way. It’s just... I remember Leona talking about getting married in the Church. You asked for the same and I~"

"I know," Leo kissed her lips. "I know, darling. I know...With you, I don’t know what I want most of the time and act irrationally," he rested his forehead on hers.

"It’s okay. You should know that I love you no matter what," she said.

She would never let him think that she cared about who he was. She loved him no matter who he was in the past and no matter who he became in the future. She loved his heart and his soul. It didn’t matter what clothes he wore or what name he carried. She will love him no matter what.

-----

With her face filled with a smile, she went back to Lemon Heights with him. She wanted to cook all his favorites for him tonight and see him have his fill. She loved to see his belly full. Maybe if she was lucky, she would see him smile seeing the baby she carried for him. She truly hoped it would come to pass.

Just as they entered the gates, Nelson came running to them. Apparently, there was a guest who wanted to talk to Leon. Viviana didn’t stop to listen to them and walked inside. Leon gets visitors related to his new business rarely. She usually stayed away from his business dealings.

On the front porch, on the couch for visitors was sitting a man. Seeing him, her heart skipped a beat. Leon walked to her with a large gait and Viviana turned to look at him.

So, the secret will be outed.

She could only sigh.
