Chapter 362: Feigning Anger
Leonardo fisted his hands hearing Angelina calling Leander handsome.
"He’s not the most handsome man you’ve ever seen, is he?" Leonardo asked trying to get her attention.
She used to be in love with him. That means she should have found him to be the most attractive man, right?
"Where is he going? Is Minerva not okay?" Angelina asked Vito again. She didn’t even look at Leonardo.
Leonardo did not feel good getting ignored by her.
"She hit him in the face," Vito said with a proud smile.
"Hit him? Minerva?" Angelina couldn’t believe it. She didn’t seem like the type of woman who would hit someone. "Will she be okay?" she asked. His walk didn’t seem angry, but she still worried for her.
"No, no... She’s fine. She will be fine..." Vito waved his hand and patted her back. "Are you going somewhere?"
"Yes, uncle... I have a meeting with my charity directors. I’ll leave now," she kissed Vito’s cheek.
Vito patted her head. "Good luck. Call me if you need any help."
"Sure, Uncle. Thanks," Angelina walked out with a smile.
Leonardo blocked her way. "Where is your meeting?" he asked.
"In the Blue Fish restaurant," Angelina answered him.
"When will you finish up?" he asked.
"Around seven in the evening."
"Great! Come to the mall after that. I need to choose some~"
"Sorry, Leo. I am planning on getting into bed early tonight. I didn’t sleep well last night and... I need my beauty sleep."
"Oh, then..." Leonardo didn’t even know how to react to her refusal. This was the first time she refused to do something for him. What was he supposed to say?
’Okay, bye!" Angelina smiled widely and with her hair fluttering in the wind walked past him calling for the chauffeur.
Leonardo walked to the front porch with his hands inside his trouser pockets. He watched her leave. Not once did she look in his direction.
What’s in her phone that’s that interesting? What’s with the smile on her face?
Leonardo let out a deep sigh. Something did not feel right and he couldn’t put his finger on it. He was missing something but he didn’t know what. He’s never felt this way before.
Vito peeked out from behind the door. He sighed seeing Leonardo walking into a wall. It appeared that Angelina was no longer interested in Leonardo. He thought it was for the best. He was happy for her.
Although Angelina would be perfect as the Vitale family’s daughter-in-law, she would be too good for his idiotic son. She deserves someone better; she should be treated as a queen, not some pageboy.

Viviana locked the door and with her back to the door, slid down. She came to Ziya’s room as it was closer to the stairs.
Her hand was hurting and she had a quick look. Her knuckles had peeled skin and it hurt really bad. Her bones hurt almost as if she had broken it. She probably might have twisted her wrists. Or maybe it was nothing. She was kept from physical pain for a long time and even the small peels hurt like anything.
But she was still angry at him. How could he make fun of her after letting her suffer all this time?
She huffed in anger. She heard someone walking through the hallway and she listened closely. She recognized that walk. His shoe color is different now, but even after a year, his confident walk hasn’t changed.
Even through her anger, she couldn’t help but smile.
My Leo is back!
"Mousy... Lemon..." He knocked at the door. "Where are you?"
Hearing his voice, her heart skipped a beat. All the anger she felt went away like a mist around the sun.
But then her smile vanished and sadness filled her heart.
She was not worried for herself. She worried for Leander.
It was hypocritical for her to worry for him after she hurt him, but what else can she do? She loved him and she couldn’t hold back her anger when he took light of her sufferings in the past year.
She couldn’t stop her tears. He came back and she hit him in the face.
Pressing her ear to the door, she listened. She didn’t have the guts to face him. Her chest hurt when she heard him walk away. But she knew he wouldn’t leave her this time around. He came here to get her and he will wait for her.
Yeah, he should wait for me. He made me wait for this long! He should feel what it feels like.
With a pout, she folded her hands over her chest. He can wait a day or two for her. Let him suffer.
But then, she wanted to run to him and hug him to take in his scent. She wanted to feel his warmth on her and sink into his embrace. She wanted to taste his lips and have him inside her.
She shook her head. That can wait...
But she didn’t want to wait.
It was a dilemma but even she didn’t feel strong about one side. She never had pride when it came to love; she would grovel shamelessly in front of him. But maybe she should hold fast. He cannot think that he can do the disappearing act again without facing any consequences.
She heard Martha’s shocked voice in the hallway. She dropped something and shouted in glee. Leander asked her to calm down and ask her to tell her where she was.
Martha outed her.
Viviana pouted and leaned on the door. Leander came and knocked on the door. She pretended to not hear it. But even her hand didn’t listen to her and she almost opened the door.
She stood up and didn’t want to sit by the door anymore. Ziya who was taking a nap was disturbed by the knocking sound.
Viviana saw Ziya having a disturbed sleep. She sat by her side and patted her back to sleep. The knocking on the door stopped after a minute and Ziya went back to sleep.
"I’m going to sit by the door until you open it!"
Leander shouted from outside the door.
Viviana heard it and curled her lips.
He can sit for however long he wants to! Who cares? Hmpf!
