Chapter 284: Take Advantage

Leander was sitting by her hurt foot and was about to apply ointment on her wound. He must have already cleaned her wound. The smell of medicine alerted her senses. She blinked her eyes. Her foot tickled as he grabbed her foot.

She wanted to look at his face. But she couldn’t as tears clouded her eyes.

He still cares for me!

She knew he accidentally hurt her foot. He must have felt bad for it and is now taking care of the wound. She couldn’t control her glee and she cried in happiness.

He was holding her foot so gently and applying the ointment so softly so as not to hurt her unnecessarily. He was blowing on her wound while applying the ointment.

She was so touched. She felt the urge to jump on him and hug him. But she feared to do that. The last time he saw her tears, he was irked. Although she was crying out of happiness, she didn’t want to annoy him by showing him her tears.

She clutched the pillow and reveled in the gentle sensations of his rough fingers. He always finds ways to be gentle with her. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach and her lips curved to a smile.

"I’ve asked them to clean the next room for you. You will stay there from tonight."

When she heard Leander say that, she couldn’t understand it for a few seconds. The other room? Does he mean the torture chamber? He’s packing me out of this room to that other room?

Her tears of happiness dried up. The wet pillow stuck to her cheek and it gave her an itch. He stood up.

"May I know why?" she sat up and wiped her face.

She was not happy with the way he informed the "news". And she did not like the room he allotted for her. She is his wife. Why should she sleep in another room?

"No, you may not. If you must, then you should know that this is my house, and what I say goes, no question asked," he said.

He was meeting her eyes and appeared to be so sure of himself. It angered her.

"If you are a man, shouldn’t you keep your word? You were the one who told me that I am supposed to sleep on your bed," she said. "Leander, please... Will you tell me what’s bothering you? What did I do wrong? Tell me..." She pleaded with him.

She couldn’t get angry at him even though she was angry. His eyes were so alluring and she couldn’t shout at him. She was more hurt by how he acted distant from her. She felt like a fish out of water.

He looked perplexed for a moment. But then he curled his lips. "Do you need to be reminded that I am a man?" he scoffed. "I simply changed my mind. My mind, my decision," he said casually and shrugged cooly.

Viviana felt something snap inside her brain.

"Who am I? Am I still your wife or have you changed your mind about that too?" she asked.

The more he was unaffected, the madder she became. He cannot act like this for no rhyme or reason!

Leander shrugged. "Haven’t yet changed my mind about that."

Viviana clenched her jaws. Yet? Yet? He’s planning on changing that in the future?

"Then as long as you don’t change your mind, I will share your warmth as it is my right as your wife. If you change your mind, just as you brought me inside your house by force with nothing, you will throw me outside your house with nothing. Until you do that, I will take advantage of you in every way!" she said pointing his finger at him.

Leander had an amused smirk on his face. He folded his arms over his chest. "And how will you take advantage of me?"

Viviana huffed. "You will kiss me. And you will sleep with me every night. You will hold me, without a condom, and~"

Leander laughed out loud interjecting her. "Wouldn’t women usually use men for their money? Are you going to use your husband like a street wh*re?" he scoffed. "Some wife you are!"

Viviana gritted her teeth. "You are worse than a street wh*re! I can’t get anything from you! You’re a...stone-hearted b*tch! I’d have a chance with a wall than with you! You cannot blame me for wanting to use you. You were the one who used me after you brought me here. You kissed me whenever you wanted and forced me to sleep with you after forcing me to marry you! You have no moral high ground here!"

"WHAT?" Leander opened his mouth wide. "I forced you? How can you lie so easily? Who was the one who wanted it to get it started and undressed herself first? Who asked me to "start with a kiss"? Who hugged me so tightly and made me think that I might suffocate? Who moaned so loudly that night..."

"AHHHH!!!"

Viviana couldn’t hear any more of what he said. She was so embarrassed. How can he crudely remark on everything that happened that night? S

She stood up on the bed and lunged at him. He tried to walk out of the room but she jumped on his back. Hugging him around his neck, she supported herself by wrapping her legs around his waist.

"Get down!"

Je tried to get her down. But she hung on to him tightly.

"You are a jerk, Leander! I hate you!" she screamed at the top of her lungs and bit his ear. She did not bie hard enough to draw blood, but enough to cause him pain.

Leander screamed in pain.

"You b*ch! Let go!" he tried to struggle out of her hold. "Minnie, it hurts..."

’Viviana gathered herself and let go of his ear. Leander stumbled and fell on the bed. She was trapped in between him and the bed.

He pressed her down and twisted her body to face her. Pinning her shoulders, he gritted his teeth. "You need to be taught a lesson!"

Viviana looked at him. His warm breath fell on her mouth. She used to feel so secure in his embrace and now... what happened to them?

Tears rolled down the corners of her eyes. "I lied. I still love you. I can never hate you, Leander," she said.

She will take the first step. She will sacrifice her ego every time. She loves him more than she can bear. She cannot lose him.

The angry expression on Leander’s face disappeared.

"You’re... unbelievable!" he shook his head.

Next moment, he pulled down her pants and thrust himself inside her. Viviana gasped as she took in his erect length. She didn’t know he was this hard.

Pinning her hands above her head, he started to thrust harder inside her.
